Huge Eagles fan! I had mixed cassettes (dating myself) that pretty much stayed in my car stereo all the time and was played at ear-bleeding volume when friends and I would go cruising to the lake or around town. I had to re-record Eagles and a few others because I wore 'em out! (Eagles, Boston, Beach Boys, Journey, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Ozzy, Lita Ford,... and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts-- Joan Jett was the one who made me wanna pick up a guitar as a kid!) But I was pleased as punch with this tutorial!
Omg too weird… Last night after finishing up one of your strumming course lessons, I decided to celebrate with a few beers. Been on a serious Eagles kick for past 3 weeks and last night listened to this song on repeat close to half a dozen times. Tried playing along with it to limited success. 💥!!!Lauren comes to the rescue yet again!❤️
Thanks Lauren for the cool Tequila Sunrise lesson ! :) I love to play this song in the original key of G major but with simple chords on the guitar, and i also love to transpose this song to the key of C major and transpose my backing track to the key of C major and I like to also play this song on my little ukulele with even easier ukulele chords ! :) As i play on an accoustic an electric soprano G C E A fiji island tuned ukulele ! :) I also like to play piano chords for this song in the original key on the piano and i can do 2 solos for this song i can do a ukulele lead solo for this song in the original key of G major on my little accoustic ukulele and i can also do a piano solo for this song in the original key of G major on my piano organ ! I can also play a lead guitar melody line all the way through the song in the original key of G major on my electric guitar :) great fun ! :)
Took till just after 11 mins till you finally got to “the eagles strum” on a eagles song (D-D-U-U-D-U)😂…first strum I learned and I have to fight to not fall back on it when I’m just playing around hehe.
Nice song, nice tutorial, for sure! Well, pretty interesting those "DU DD" or UD DU" and so on... Quantum physics for me could be easier to catch. Just a joking... I know that it helps many...
