If they want to make these special attacks that are long and are a visual spectacle then they really need to increase the damage and DC gauge cost so that it actually is as impactful as it looks. Like for real this should cost 200. The first two hits should stun temporarily or cause knockback. The follow up ki blasts should have better damage and cause flinching and then the final hit should also cause guaranteed knockback and have better tracking. I'm tired of crappy 100dc supers that look like they should do lots of damage but end up hitting with the power of a wet noodle.
Super Spirit Bomb is the only super that lives up to it's name. All the others like God Punisher, Father Son Kamehameha and Emperor's Death Beam that should be similar high cost, hard to land but powerful supers end up being really disappointing.

I feel like they added Blue Gogeta first cause they knew that his base is going to get a better super and they are worried that SSJ Broly’s super is going to be bad, the same as Blue Gogeta’s supers. They want to package each transphere drop with at least one good transphere.
@@Tony42008only uses I can see are for full teams, and defending the STM possibly. Sure it’s the first combo super, but it is easy to avoid and interrupt if the raider knows what’s up.

Of course, most of the time, it’s not gonna land at all. - If the raider is stunned, it will connect, but it’s still bad for shredding life. Fast supers such as motionless and SBC can get two hits off of one stun, meaning they do way more damage with the same window. Not only that, but because it pretty much deletes the knockback gauge, the raider will most likely be knocked away by an ally’s super before the entire sequence connects. Again, you’re missing out on damage. The only usecase for this thing is if EVERY teammate in your premade is running this exact super and a stun. That way there isn’t any knockback, and everyone can land their super. Or you could just run full power energy wave for more damage, a faster startup, and better accuracy. Makes it pretty redundant if it’s outclassed by the default super. The only super I could see possibly being worse is charge.
I'm so fucking tired of Dimps on making every new unique super attack cost 100 and deal doodoo damage. There's literally 0 new super attack cost like 150 or 200 since season 2. They are way too afraid of end up making new super attack OP. There's literally Super Spirit Bomb for them as a reference to get an idea on how to balance a big damage but fair super attack. They have a chance to make the game more diverse rather than SBC gaming every match but they refused to do that. How comes devs don't give a F on nerfing SBC but any new super attack is not allowed to match the lvl of SBC? It's time for them to have a super attack balance chance before it's too late. Most of the player will eventaully get bored and leave the game just becoz there's no new super attack are worth to use more than the old OP super attack. Dimps if you see this message, take note.

Now that's the debate. Also Soul Punisher does do respectable damage though most likely you might see yourself landing the aoe part of the move instead of the actual hit box itself.
The damage and the tracking of this super attack is downright unacceptable. Near impossible to land and benefits the raider more than the player. Bandai needs to buff this super attack. They did not test out this super attack. Did they not know that raiders can damage tank this super and basically delete your d change by throwing a super in your face? You can't even get much value out if it while stunning the raider.
Ever since they took out the ability for supers to knock back the raider on hit pretty much all multi-hit supers became awful to use. Not even good as suppressing fire anymore.
Ginyu is definitely the better raider but honestly, watch a couple gameplay videos on both and go with whichever one looks the most fun or has a play style that you like.
I recommend doing these tests against Frieza or Broly, I believe they're the only raiders that starts with a 'normal' amount of health. Cell has Increased health, which explains the low damage. The move still sucks.
I've run in to this yesterday. Someone save this clip and send it to Dimps/Breakers. For the time dedicated and barely any damage this move really sucks. In fact all of Gogeta's supers suck. Soul punisher is slow start up and slow moving and Super Kamehameha is slow too. What were they thinking.

The skill is bad. The damage is less than some of the least damaging skills in the game. They do less than Vanishing Ball, SBC. Super Electric Strike (Tested that one.)ETC ETC. You can run what super you want, don't let us judge you, but a lack of damage can cause you to lose games. It's why no one runs Golden Frieza's Emperors Death Beam or Krillin's Chain Destructo Disk Barrage as a Lv. 4. The skills do miniscule damage and leave you open to soak up damage. No super attack should require a skill to carry it. At that point, you might as well just be using a different skill and get a ton more value that way. God punisher is disappointing. Soul Punisher is respectable. YAGP (Gohan's Damage Passive) is a fantastic skill, and can take anything from terrible to usable with the right circumstances. It's not the super attack doing work, it's Gohan's passive. I feel Iron was very on point with how he feels about God Punisher. The move is bad, and unless it gets buffed/Changed, it's going to remain one of the worst super attacks in the game.
They need to make it where if the first two ki blast land it Guarantees the middle portion but not the soul punisher finish or make the super outright do more damage but as it is no lie worst super in the game

If you lose lock-on, you can manually aim the spam shots.
I feel like these kind of super moves were not designed to work with the knockback gauge in mind.
If you want to know the damage if you land the full attack, it does about as much as SBC. Yea, they still need to nerf SBC

The two power shells Gogeta tosses at the beginning are too easy to dodge imo. Definitely a good super for premade teams though.

It seems when you're practicing the damage is less but when you were in game the damage was massive

It might be that all those shots make it count as a volley attack, and the volley nerf triggers
The same happens when using the laser type ki blast. Was testing Gogeta out and there were hits that weren't doing any damage.
