Fact: Vic's Point Blank is a platform for non-modders to add guns to their liking to the game without modding knowledge
to add one you just make a model, animate it, edit some data files, and boom the gun is ready to fire!
the VPB community is slowly making VPB gun packs that you can download on Curseforge in the customization category
so if you want more guns in VPB, make it or find the gun packs on Curseforge

I just wish there was a gun mod that wasn't so modern. I've been wanting a mod for my mixed fantasy pack that gives me access to bolt action rifles and muskets and pepperboxes and revolvers, but doesn't have machine guns or rocket launchers or orbital strike cannons, but outside of pirate mods that add a bunch of other stuff or *just* add flintlocks there's pretty much nothing.
Theres a mod for create with guns, its thr same animations as mr craysfish, and thr weapons are like steampunk weapons
Adding to the last comment, theres also a resourcepack of the same guy that made the mod called Create Guns literally, which comes with a datapack that balances the recipes and the damage from the guns.
Also if you want older guns with more variety theres a mod called literally Old Guns Mod.
And if you want some fantasy themed guns, the LesRaisins addon of Timeless and classics not only adds a musket, but adds magical themed revolvers. But you have to use 1.16.5

Edit: Oh, wait, I found it now. Unfortunately it's for 1.19 and I'm on 1.20, so I'll just have to wait for it to be updated.

Been working on one called Create: Love and war that's mostly old bolt actions, got tired of all the modern warfare stuff myself so went and made something different.

The best part of Techgun is the crafting, which still gives a big cigar to other weapon mods.

Where's Modern Warfare Cubed? that mod is freaking amazing, also great video!
btw you forgot to mention a few things about mrcrayfish's mod, it's actually far more integrated into the game than other gun mods. you can enchant your guns like any other weapons, you can dye and paint them. you can even rarely find ammo as loot in chests similar to how you can find arrows.
Hey Ender! How did you get shaders to wrk with timeless and classic? Did you use optifine? I couldnt find a version that was compatible with TAC
Honestly, there should be an option for the npcs to also use guns (ie. Like pillagers or sum) cuz like they be using them ancient ahh weapons and were just being here using modern military grade firearms
Ich vics modern warefare mod are quite a fiew npcs with guns that spawn here and there
If you use the musket mod there is an add on that adds musket illagers but its only updated to 1.19.2
Might actually fit the lore of the game.

Lmao i used the same map for when i was testing Timeless and classics out, its actually pretty cool sence the other side has villagers instead of pillagers.
Vic's Point Blank cannot be used in Survival, the recipe itself does not exist
now exist, they updated the VPB and add a crafting system on the game!!!
What maps did you test the mods in?
You also forgot to say one thing about Timeless and Classics mod. Right now it's a very good mod, but before it was just an addon for MrCrayfish Guns
I got an 1.16.5 mods that is great for realistic use and survival friendly, its name is Guns RPG and is one of the most unknown mods I see on youtube, no one seems to know it, it got a level systeme, new debuff systeme and is almost fully customisable

You can complement the Mr Crayfish's guns with the mod additional weapons
I gona install this mod to play with Scape and run parasite and Fungus infection mod
Imagine if the Player's reactions to one player with a gun were like: "Dude! Check this noob out! Let's deal with-Oh no, HE'S GOT A GUN!!" XD
Finally point blank works with shaders
I used the exact same version as him. BSL v8.2.02. It still won't work with me though.

Who use fabric ?? Forge for any mods is 100x better
My forge keeps crashing on later versions of mc, and it’s the software itself, I even update my minecraft
If anyone knows how to fix this issue let me know, I even uninstalled and reinstalled mc

is there any fabric ones cuz my forge doesn't work it crash's and i reinstalled everything even the game itself
Could you post a your shader settings somehow for bsl? I'm sure there's a setting messing up the animations but I can't figure out what one it is
NEVERMIND! For those of you having trouble getting the Point Blank Animations to work with shaders, at least with BSL, it seems "real time shadows" is the culprit. Turning it off fixes the animations immediately. Hope this helps!
Can I have a tutorial on how to make shaders work with Vic's Point Blank? I used BSL_v8.2.02, the same as yours, and it still won't work for me.
