Using the Command to follow and just ride through and kill the archers was good thing to know. I didn't know that you could do that with that command. I used to use the command Charge, and they often stopped on the spot when they found an enemy and ended up being slaughtered for giving up the mobility they had. Not anymore, haha, thanks.
Really? That command was how I beat the first game. Even the Sturgeon cavalry are insane using that tactic.
that was not epic at all... you sacrificed so many troops to force the enemy down the slope. The main reason you lost was probably the tactic itself hhahaha

I don't have information about your settings, so I'll write how it's set up for me.
Game version 1.2.9
All mods are unpacked into the "Modules" folder in the game directory.
First, you need to install mods, without which others won't work (possibly):
1. Harmony
2. Butterlib
3. UIExtenderEx
4. Mod Configuration Menu v5
and set them in the same order in the launcher.
Then you install the mods you need.

You were doing well untill you give command to atack with cavalry. You shud've go by dismount them and make shield wall for minimum lose but tbh was good.
А я бы провернул все вообще по-другому. Самому ему надо было заехать на один из холмов, а пехоту и лучников подвести в упор к врагу, и так отдать приказы, чтобы пехота и конница ударили одновременно спереди и сзади. Под огнем лучников у врагов бы не было и шанса. То, что предлагаете вы - самому лишить себя преимущества в маневренности конницы. Если вам не дают покоя лавры Генриха IV, то это не тот случай. У французов было численное преимущество и преимущество в коннице. Поэтому и был отдан приказ спешиться. Вместо сомнительного флангового удара, который французы бы легко отбили, рыцари усилили пехоту, что и окончательно склонило чашу весов. А в данном случае у автора тотальное превосходство в коннице. Ее задачей должно было стать уничтожение лучников и добивающий удар в тыл пехоте врага. Если бы он послушал вас, он бы понес катастрофические потери во второй части боя, когда к врагу подошли подкрепления.
The usefulness of cavalry is to break Shield Walls or break the enemy archer's line. The terrain his infantry was on still made him have an advantage, even though he was outnumbered. Putting the Cavalry to add up to his Shield Wall would be useless, you can see that by the back line of the same Shield Wall, most of them were just standing and doing nothing, if you don't break the wall with the Cavalry, they're going to barely kill each other (cause of game's limitation).

Very nice battle! It was quite costly to lose around 2/3 of your cavalry, but they prevented a lot of losses for the infantry. And managing them in an optimal way must be quite demanding.
Surprisingly, I have very similar results when I play Total War, my infantry is almost unscathed while the cav gets most of the kills and is almost enitrely gone after the battle…
i would have moved the archers up the cliffs !

With a tactical camera, the entire immersion is ruined. There is no imitation of command on behalf of the boss.
Нужно было развернуть пехоту шире, больше половины стоит и ничего не делает, и кавалерию соеденить с пехотой, и спешить - если стоишь в глухой обороне под скалами, то кавалерия ненужна.

Thank you. But I don't use a mod that speeds up the gameplay. The acceleration was done during video editing. The game itself was played in real-time. I spent one hour on this match.

I LOVE THIS GAME BUT IT STARTED FREEZING ON ME
С 170 побеждал 500 в открытом поле, а с 190 отбил осаду 2100. Надо бы тоже rts камеру попробовать. Но народ пишет, что с ней часто вылетает, особенно если на готовый сейв установить.
Все зависит от того какого тира у тебя и врага войска. Я бы посмотрел, как бы победил со вторым тиром войска пятого.
I'm disappointed in the RBM mod. It positions itself as realistic, but in fact it is absolutely broken in terms of damage balance. Piercing damage - OP. Crushing damage is almost OP. Axes are terrible. Any shock infantry with axes is terrible usless.
Entire types of troops become unnecessary because of this.
It doesn't even smell like realism here.
The mod is funny because stamina causes comical situations when half the army loses their weapons or falls to the ground.
But all this is not necessary, a two-handed mace takes out everything with one blow, infantry hiding behind a shield takes 2-3 hits without even breaking the shield, but simply from a blow to stamina.
But even a two-handed mace is not needed, just buy 4 fire pots and kill 1000 people in 1 battle.

My gameplay wasn’t the best. It’s more fun than it is accurate. But if you think I got myself trapped or exposed myself to arrows, either you weren’t watching closely, or your comment is stupid.
It was the other way around: REG let the enemy trap themselves in a bottleneck to be decimated by the few archers they had, while they sent the cavalry around the back to annihilate the superior archer force.
