Steve shouldn't have left, they should have retired together. Danny and Steve. Steve and Danny. Everyone should have come back, Kono and Chin, and then it should have ended with them all reuniting at the Restaurant and then going to Kamekona's shrimp truck together and watching the sun set over the coast of Honolulu one last time

I agree that Steve shouldn't have left because as i know it was what triggered the sudden end of the series but realistically that physical exhaustion he endured after 10 seasons had really caught up with him :( I love the plot you proposed as that would've really been one helluva farewell :) In addition, i wish that they could've compromised with Steve to do less appearances (like Danny) to physically preserve/manage him to set up one final season 11 (to have been labeled as the finale season) to officially end everything and with everyone in cast from the beginning doing their fair share of guestings specially Chin and Kono. Just my opinion here folks since i miss them all terribly.
While I absolutely hated how the series ended, I have to say that the actors and actresses did a wonderful job in bringing to life the characters that we all love, especially Alex and Scott in their McDanno moments, whether romance or bromance. They were all beautiful and I will miss them!
Their bromance will continue to live in fanfiction. That's where I will find the real ending!

Lenkov doesn't know these characters. The actors did. The fans did. CBS did. Lenkov pulled a petty move with the final scene after giving us a full hour that reflected ten years of this beautiful partnership. But, hey -- this is why we have fanfic.
Beautiful 10 years of the series and Mcdanno. Too bad the parting with Danny. And I did not like that Catherine will stay with Steve( for me) Catherine left Steve 2 times. and it was not in the series for 5 years.
Tami Alexander I think they where trying to set the finale has a launch into season 11. So we would have seen more next year but they decided to cancel H50. If it had continued it would have focused more on Danny.

He shouldve just ended it with season 9 instead he ripped our hearts out!
@@pkg8416 They chose to end it at season 10 because Alex couldn't do it anymore due to injuries he sustained over the years.
As soon as it started I started smiling and by the end I was crying! I’m gonna miss my mcdanno so freaking much!

While I loved the original, this version had something the original didn’t, humor. The bantering between Steve and Danny was some of the best and really made the show fun to watch.

@@susanalopez5337 I understand. But after everything that Steve has been through loosing his father. Wo-fats the one who infiltrate the death. Not only that but everything that wo-fat put him through. You can't forget to that. Not to mention his father knowing that Doris/ Steve's mom was still alive it's hard to get over that. Not only that but loosing Joe white and loosing his mother. It's like the whole world was crashing on him. And like he said to Danny. He needs peace. And Danny understands that. So Danny may be hurt and sad but he understands what Steve has been through

I knew this was gonna break my heart when I saw it in my recommended videos and it sure did. I’m gonna miss these guys so much, my Dad, brother and I have been watching since the very first episode aired in 2010 and it’s been one of our absolute favorites. Tv will not be the same without these characters. You made an absolutely beautiful video here, great job!

I miss my guys. Danny and Steve will be missed. However the black character that was introduced for the last 2 episodes would have been a great addition to the rest of the cast, and worthy of being part of the team. I would have liked to see that new dynamic in season 11. Too bad we will never find out. I was also shocked that Kamekona was not in the last episode. Maybe cameos on Magnun are in order?

I'm from Spain and they put episodes from the 1, 2, 3 season on TV and I love this duo fr. they remind me a lot of my best friend and me. they don't say it a lot but they truly love and are proud of each other and theyd give everything to help each other. The bickering made me giggle and how hell bent each would get when the other was in trouble made me smile. I wasnt thrilled with the series finale until she showed up on the plane. I wasnt ok with Maggaret leaving Dano to roam the planet as a nomad, im just fine with him starting his next chapter in life with his forever girl that never gave up on him. Great show, great writing.
This is great, I watched all but the last 2 seasons and this was an awesome tribute to their friendship/partnership! Seems like a after reading some of the comments its a good thing I never watched the finale?
