Actually mermaids are nice and krakens are also nice sirens are evil...The tale of the sirens is that they manipulate sailors into coming with them to the sea so they can drown.

@@winxclub998wizardmasterno actually there’s a difference. Historically they were sirens, but mermaids are like the child friendly version. It’s like in the past there were wolfs, and now there are dogs. Same thing? Yes but no.
I think the overall message is that some of either species are nice. Because it makes no sense for an entire group of individuals to be horrible

Actually sirens and mermaids aren’t the same thing though people mixed them up. Sirens are actually half woman and have bird.
The story with the peaceful mermaid would be the one Disney’s is based on Hans version. The only difference is Disney’s has a happy ending. Hans has either a downer or bittersweet ending. Depending on which ending you look at

@@moondivine2288depictions of sirens change overtime, yes they were originally half woman half bird, but they’ve also been shown in artworks from centuries ago to have fish-like features. It changes depending on the time and where you’re looking.

Haven't watched the movie yettt but i think, i kinda relate to Ruby about not having to go on some occasions coz of parents being overprotective or coz of other situations, but God gave us parents to be His instruments for us to see the light coz He have a purpose for us! Let's try to understand them more! ☺️ Also, about fitting in, just be you! Jesus loves you already just the way you are!
