This was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. Martin Lawrence is everything Kevin Hart tries to be. There is a difference between trying to be funny and actually being funny. I saw a free screening thinking it would be terrible and it was so FUN. Summer fun in January.

Just saw it in an IMAX theater. It gets you on the edge of your seat less than 15 mins in. There were quite a few good comedy scenes too. I really enjoyed it. I thought it was better than number 2.

I just feel the transition in the movie between Mike & Marcus and the "new crew" was so smooth. As well as when both of them were in scenes. Seriously the movie is so well executed in my opinion, i just get so excited talking about it lol

Those were both made by James Cameron who had a heavy hand in Alita, another female led movie, that despite some moderate shortcomings was overall very well received by audiences. Yet it was crapped on by many major media outlets for problems related to "wokeness" including the main character being "too sexualized." Was @Scene Maker's comment really necessary since it hadn't been specifically brought up? Not really. But it was at least relevant to the Terminator movie in the comment they responded to, and it expressed their frustration with modern cinema. Art is often intended to cause an emotional response so it is easy to get riled up over it, but next time I would suggest you slow down and consider your response before jumping to outrage and calling people names. It will help you be happier throughout life.

I think it's great that the movie reviews on this one are positive. The directors are from Belgium and did some great things here and this was their first big hollywood debut. As a (little) Belgian we easily get excited each time our tiny country is mentioned and this makes us so proud :D
Michael Bay action shouldn’t be seen as bad. Sometimes we just need that high-octane, shaky-cam sequence to breath life back into our soulless bodies. I personally think Transformers fight sequences are some of the coolest things in film history. They’re just badass.
Most of them are absolute nonsense, where explosions somehow leave sparks everywhere, and you can't see who is who. It's the absolute worst type of action sequences.

This was a lot better than I expected. I really didn't like the second one. The first one is a fun, guilty pleasure. but the new directors really did a great job building a more emotional structure here.
In my opinion: I loved every action sequence from Bad boys 2 compared to this one. It seems to still hold up today. The practical effects, explosions, squibs, cinematography, and sound design made it seem like the stakes were much higher. Plus Johnny Tapia was more badass compared to the witch's son
Just finished watching it and I gotta say it was a great addition to the bad boys franchise. It’s definitely worth the watch if you love the previous two you’ll enjoy the ride.
Good directors, really good directors, these guys aren't just focused in making sweet action, but telling a story fitting excellently into the movie, and that's why I loved it
I saw it last night and loved it! I was nervous going into it but was pleasantly surprised that they pulled it off. I totally agree with Jeremy's review. It was not as high octane as the first 2, but I believe everything was well balanced. I also enjoyed the action that was in - not to over the top - the character development, new characters, and surprises. Not even 1/3 of the way through, I was like, I need a sequel or a spin-off based on new characters. Looking forward to more.

I saw Bad Boys II 3 times in the Summer of 2003, then got it on DVD... Bad Boys For Life was WAY BETTER than I expected. I did not expect it to have heart and some serious moments... but also my problem with Michael Bay's movies is the action is cut so fast you can barely tell what is happening, THIS TIME I could actually make out what was going on. VERY FUN movie.

They were considering making two Bad Boys sequels a year or two ago with the 4th being titled "Bad Boys For Life"/"Bad Boys 4 Life" but I guess they just settle on doing only one more. And Martin Lawrence had a cameo role in "The Beach Bum" and I heard he's the best thing about it.
Great review. Yes, the freeway chase in BB2 is not surpassed, but as an overall product, BB3 was my favorite of the series, which says a lot, as the 2nd is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Just got back from seeing this with my dad and it was fucking amazing! The chemistry Will Smith and Martin Lawrence felt like it never left and the movie had so many twists to make you say “oh hell nah!” Definitely a must see AND a must own!!

This was actually my favorite of the 3 Bad Boys movies, it did feel less like a high octane action movie than the first 2 but I feel like that was on purpose, because they chose to tell a more layered story with more dramatic depth than the first 2 movies, the first 2 movies were just fun, simple “Cops go after drug dealers” movies, but this one has a lot more to it, it definitely felt like it had the most substance out of the 3 which to me made it the most engaging one
I liked Bad boys 3. The humor is there and I like the actor coming together "For one last time". The movie has a Expandable 3 vibe to it, with the younger crew that's supposed to be better and with tech. what I didn't like was the ending scene with Mike and the "boy"... that felt like fast and furious to me

One of the craziest things about Bad Boys is that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence establish their characters and personalities so early in the film that they switch identities in the first movie. That's kind of insane if you think about it.

I think it's great that the movie reviews on this one are positive. The directors are from Belgium and did some great things here and this was their first big hollywood debut. As a (little) Belgian we easily get excited each time our tiny country is mentioned and this makes us so proud :D
Michael Bay action shouldn’t be seen as bad. Sometimes we just need that high-octane, shaky-cam sequence to breath life back into our soulless bodies. I personally think Transformers fight sequences are some of the coolest things in film history. They’re just badass.
Most of them are absolute nonsense, where explosions somehow leave sparks everywhere, and you can't see who is who. It's the absolute worst type of action sequences.
This is the review I needed to see before tomorrow. Chris Stuckman's bummed me out lol
lol ikr? I love Chris and his reviews but he doesn't seem to enjoy popcorn action flicks like that. I was surprised when he said that Bad Boys For Life may be the best one of the trilogy though. Can't wait to see it myself.

this movie is so good. It also had some really cool action shots, especially during the final act. This is my favorite one in the series and I hope we don't have to wait as long for Bad Boys 4.

I LOVED it! Was expecting it to suck, but it didn’t and now I’ve seen it 3 times. It was a very pleasant surprise. I like how they had the characters age while injecting some new blood into the franchise! Thumbs way up! 👍

This Bad Boys was the most emotional of the 3. I must admit my eyes did tear up a couple times.
My favorite aging cops comedy is Running Scared with Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines.

I loved every action sequence from Bad boys 2 compared to this one. It seems to still hold up today. The practical effects, explosions, squibs, cinematography, and sound design made it seem like the stakes were much higher.
Plus Johnny Tapia was more badass compared to the witch's son

I saw it last night and loved it! I was nervous going into it but was pleasantly surprised that they pulled it off. I totally agree with Jeremy's review. It was not as high octane as the first 2, but I believe everything was well balanced. I also enjoyed the action that was in - not to over the top - the character development, new characters, and surprises. Not even 1/3 of the way through, I was like, I need a sequel or a spin-off based on new characters. Looking forward to more.

I saw Bad Boys II 3 times in the Summer of 2003, then got it on DVD... Bad Boys For Life was WAY BETTER than I expected. I did not expect it to have heart and some serious moments... but also my problem with Michael Bay's movies is the action is cut so fast you can barely tell what is happening, THIS TIME I could actually make out what was going on. VERY FUN movie.

Great review. Yes, the freeway chase in BB2 is not surpassed, but as an overall product, BB3 was my favorite of the series, which says a lot, as the 2nd is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Just got back from seeing this with my dad and it was fucking amazing! The chemistry Will Smith and Martin Lawrence felt like it never left and the movie had so many twists to make you say “oh hell nah!” Definitely a must see AND a must own!!
And I would say it’s better than the first one but almost as good as Bad Boys 2

This was actually my favorite of the 3 Bad Boys movies, it did feel less like a high octane action movie than the first 2 but I feel like that was on purpose, because they chose to tell a more layered story with more dramatic depth than the first 2 movies, the first 2 movies were just fun, simple “Cops go after drug dealers” movies, but this one has a lot more to it, it definitely felt like it had the most substance out of the 3 which to me made it the most engaging one

I liked Bad boys 3. The humor is there and I like the actor coming together "For one last time". The movie has a Expandable 3 vibe to it, with the younger crew that's supposed to be better and with tech. what I didn't like was the ending scene with Mike and the "boy"... that felt like fast and furious to me
it helps to set up bad boys 4 which they had announced like 5 years ago.
This film is flawless. Believe me and go see it.
Just saw this movie wasn’t bored at any point throughout it, was laughing hysterically often and even teared up at a few points. Overall one of the most enjoyable movie experiences I’ve had in a while, even preferred this over rise of skywalker

One of the craziest things about Bad Boys is that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence establish their characters and personalities so early in the film that they switch identities in the first movie. That's kind of insane if you think about it.
