Hi Guys - Today I have a couple of short stories for you as a mid week break.
The first story is from one of our viewers who is an over the road truck driver.
She saw out in the Arizona desert something strange and frightening while drive on her route.
The second story takes place along the north shore of lake Superior in northern Minnesota, there 2 friends are at a cabin and something wants to know what they are doing...so it watches them with unexpected results!

I was in Yuma some years ago...strange n dangerous, that was my impression. Me n my friend went into a local watering hole (bar) and everyone was strapped. Every person there. 😂

@@danielleterry2331 very. I was a young woman, and it didn't take long to figure out where I was, and what was happening all around me. It really pissed me off to learn that the border patrol is pretty much another gang, getting a cut from who and what they let through. Then a friend took me through their neighborhood...big, expensive houses and cars...they do pretty well for themselves, at the expense of our nation's "security." Everyone down there was dirty dirty. 😔

I’m a truck driver in the United States. I haven’t been doing it all that long, about 5 years, but I’ve made it a goal of mine to hit the most remote parts of the country.
I’ve covered almost every square inch of the United States. From the most northern parts of the UP to around Washburn, Maine …Vermont and almost every part of California, deserts of Arizona and New Mexico, all the way down to Nogales, over to Miami, Florida to the coastline of Delaware and the border between Washington state and Alaska. I’ve seen MOST of what there is as far as remote locations in the United States.
The most vulnerable and remote I’ve ever felt, far away from civilization was running between Duluth and the UP Michigan side. It was all state routes, middle of the night, long periods with no cell phone service. Just me, my truck and a two lane road. Hours without seeing another set of headlights (I drive almost exclusively at night).
Have I ever seen anything that looks like Bigfoot? No. Plenty and I mean plenty of things flying around in the sky that I couldn’t explain. Low, clearly visible things.
With that said, I believe in Bigfoot but I haven’t earned the opportunity to witness him or her yet. Maybe one day I’ll be fortunate enough. I will say the last time I was in the UP, I pulled into a small truck stop either on 2 or 28, I can’t remember, parked and got out to walk to the rear or my trailer to take a leak. The store was closed, it was pitch dark and I was the only living (human?) soul there. I got halfway to the back of my trailer and I heard something crashing around in the woods. I turned around and attempted to run but fell flat on my face because everything was covered in ice. I managed to get back on my feet and back in my truck but I barely slept that night. If I wasn’t at the truck stop alone it would’ve been one thing but I was the only person there, which made it so much worse. I laid there imagining some creature or alien busting through my door and snatching me in the middle of the night, without a witness for miles and miles.
I was delivering newspapers... 2008 ice storm... Chase Rd.,Lunenburg MA. I pulled into this driveway, remembered thiking that I didn't notice a Weeping Willow at the end of the drive before.... then I looked back up to put the Sunday paper in the paper tube.... and I saw this "tree" stepping sideways behind the house.... 😳 the freeze came fast, and the leaves were frozen on the branches. It looked just like a young Weeping Willow with tan leaves hanging down. But the odor.... wet dog and unbathed human. I called the police, he told me that I wasn't crazy, and to get out of the area... they'd had quite a few calls!!.... I obeyed.😊

I remember reading about a Viking sword or swords found in Minnesota. I found it fascinating they traveled so far. Can't remember where I read about it though. Tough individuals

What a great surprise when you popped up on the screen with these fun stories. I worked out of Parker AZ for awhile in the saguaro forests nearby. I couldn't work out there past early dusk hours because I would see so many freaking crazy things with the saguaros. Sure some stuff I just imagined due to the lighting, but holy smokers some things were too freakin' real. So I'm believing that trucker lady saw some bat-shit-crazy spirit having a wild run down the roadside.
Only problem with BCC, I watch his videos in the morning, and I always wanna have a beer listening to his stories, but the wife kinda frowns on drinking @ 6am....lol
Story 1 Danielle. I've heard 3 people have this same encounter out in the desert. I believe you saw a Skinwalker. They try to get you to wreck out. Also pose as a hitchhiker. But as a hitchhiker. They can't ever disguise their feet. You're extremely lucky. Very scary and evil creatures

Yes, I also really like the stories of early settlers and explorers, the history stuff is great! I'd like to hear more old Sasquatch accounts like the one, Teddy Roosevelt, detailed in his writing. There must be more out there from the past.

I lived in Grand Marais, Minnesota, for 13 years. There were Bigfoot sightings there regularly. My brother and his wife once followed huge human footprints going in and out of the ditch in freshly fallen snow one night on a remote logging road in Grand Marais. He got out of the car and put one foot into one footprint and tried to duplicate the stride, and it was not humanly impossible to even start to reach the span to the next footprint (and he's over 6' tall). It was up on the Balley Creek Road in Grand Marais.
I thought he was taking about Grand Marais Michigan.

Nice video. Hey. I'm half German originally from Reno. My other half is half Swedish. His great-grandfather came over from Sweden to work as a conductor. Made his fortune and returned. Then grandpa came over and stayed. He got married. Grandma was a Swedish cook for wealthy people. Grandpa was a dairy man and later a nursery man. He could grow beautiful plants.
We both love nature. I think many people of scandinavian heritage do.

Ok first thing that came to mind is Chris is taking off for Christmas and is putting out an early story. Thanks for the Thursday surprise appearance.
That is freaky a large white long haired cryptid running at a high rate of speed in all places Arizona, then dart out in front of her rig, as she is already seated high in her truck this thing is nearly her level!
Like a teenager following a dare! Like it was trying to freak her out and impress his friend!

I love how you make me feel like I'm right there in the middle when the encounters are happening. You know you're awesome when you can draw people into the stories you're narrating.
I also think it's a great idea you have with the discussion of the stories with you asking questions or whatnot. Sounds like lots of fun.
Here is a possible idea, maybe you can do the narration of the stories on Wednesday, then on Thursday night, do a live feed where we all discuss the encounter stories you read on Wednesday, this is just an idea. You can do that every once in a while because I know that would take up a lot of your time. And you do have a day job. But that would be kinda cool to try that at least once.
Welp, that's the only suggestion I have for now, lol 😆 🙃.

This was great! It's one of those nights where I'm wide awake in the middle of the night and I have so much to do today as in finishing Christmas shopping Etc and I know I'm going to be so tired then I see a video up! Yes! Great idea about having a midweek shorter stories and discussion video. I should send you an email about the encounter I guess you could say when I was a teenager when my parents had gone out one night. I guess more of a ghost story😮😮
Your channels quickly becoming one of my favorites for creepy, true stories. Born and raised in Northern California and grew up camping in the Sierras. What a coincidence. I am more of Scandanavian heritage than any other. Mom grew up in her Swedish grandparents' home in Minnesota, speaking Swedish before she learned English. She was born in Minnesota as well. Her father, who died when she was quite young, was of Scandanavian and Welsh extraction. Mom's mother lived to be 101 years old and spoke fluent Swedish all her life, as well as English. Small world. Be well, and stay safe. Merry Christmas.
Yes, I'm going to have to look into this. My mom and her parents from Swedish decent also have history in Minnesota. I never heard of runes before. Interesting story and I liked how Chris gave a little history lesson.

The Bigfoot stories are really scary, but they don’t scare me like the freaky looking creature stories do. I don’t usually listen to them.
I had planned to go work in our house we’re building after dinner, but after hearing the two stories about the creepy white creatures, I think I’ll pass til morning. We live in the country and I don’t feel like looking over my shoulder the whole time to be sure I’m alone.
Scary story mission accomplished. I’m chicken to go alone now.

Nice way to start the day Chris, thanks. The rune story is interesting especially being a northern MN one. I taught myself the rune language and used it to write in my diary in high school. I was a weird kid. 😂
My cousin and I wrote in shorthand in each others high school annuals so our parents couldn’t read what we wrote.

Thank you for these super cool stories on the Solstice, what a nice surprise! I like the mystical quality of this morning's stories, they draw you in and make you want to learn more. Why do Bigfoot choose certain people? Maybe it isn't that the people just happened to be there, some of these stories sound like some strange destiny or history is involved. The fact that I never hear about anyone trying to shoot these creatures, it's as if they only show themselves to people with respect for life and nature. Maybe we never hear the stories of the people who didn't act right, they are the ones who disappear? Thank you Chris, for being respectful of the mysteries of life and for helping people to share their experiences. I for one, am fascinated and beguiled by what you share- and the skillful way you share it.

Interesting, my mom & brother & sister said they saw one in the Arizona desert, & mentioned it had a smooth gait like gliding. When she got to the spot,it had disappeared.

It’s odd about the last story, dreaming about runes and they start spinning and then the guy wakes up to see a Bigfoot staring at him through the window; it’s as though the Bigfoot was trying to tell him something telepathically through his dream. We know that our sleeping mind is wide open as we are not awake to resist; I wonder what the Bigfoot was trying to say to him…
Maybe this dude is from a Nordic Royal blood line and doesn't even know it! That big foot was like " see you in Valhalla".

I live on the North Shore of Lake Superior. I live in a little shack in the woods. Hoping not to see Bigfoot. One night someone I know saw a thing on the road in the middle of the night up by Ely. The way he described it, it sounded like a Wendigo. 😮
