Tony Stewart starting nascar looks insane. He’s off the heels of winning the indycar championship, and what does he do? Moves to another series entirely. And finishes fourth in the standings in his first year.
Yeah, a surprising amount of people from other motorsports have won in NASCAR. Also, quick question, why did you show Andretti's second win rather than his first? I get why with Ambrose, since his first was the result of a scary crash creating a caution, but I don't recall anything wrong with the '97 Pepsi 400's finish
Marcos actually beat Shane to NASCAR Victory Lane by twelve years thanks to David Reutimann rolling it in turn 2 after an out-of-control David Ragan clocked his left side
It's a very low amount of people from other disciplines that have won in nascar. This is just a few in the last 20 or so years, when 92 races are ran over a full season between the top three series. 10-15 wins is not a surprising amount when it's out of almost 2000 races. Don't know why Montoya wasn't in this video, Juan was a legit great driver from another series. Tony Stuart probably shouldnt be in this, sure he started in open wheel but the majority of his racing career was in nascar. People don't respect nascar for the skill it takes to run these cars. Even someone like Lewis Hamilton has a zero percent chance of winning on an oval, road course maybe but no effin chance on an oval.
For those who don't know about Tony Stewart, he used to be an Indycar driver, he had 3 wins in Indycar in the 1990s
