Thank you Dr Jain! You are one of the very few that possesses the insight and sensitivity for the gong’s sound production. Very masterful as subtle. So greatly appreciated.
A 32 planetary/ symphonic is very nice size, it’s portable, has a beautiful mid range. The 36 is even better and the 38 that I have is very different from the 36, once you get 38 and up the blinds ( metal sheets) gets thicker and the sounds start to mushroom, with a much longer sustain sound, effortless is the right word, with a much immersive experience due the the longer waves, sound dynamics it generates.
Thanks so much for putting out this introductory guide to buying a gong for healing. I’m going through the process of holding sound baths and fully believe in frequencies, chakras & healing. I’ll visit your website for further information. Great to see and feel your spiritual connection to your gongs. ❤
Thank you 🐦 It's a tune 32 inch Chiron Planetary gong made by German gong making company Paiste. See my website for info on my video how to source and buy a gong for healing or here on my RUclips channel. As well, by the end of Monday I should also have a detailed gong and accessories directory posted there too. Thanks for connecting.
hello, I'm glad you asked this question. The gong you have is high quality and well suited for healing benefit. To answer your question YES, you can engage in healing though having an understanding of how the gong functions is important. Are you going to be working with others? if you would like a private gong video session message me on instagram. Jain
Any quality made gong will serve you well in terms of its healing benefit. There are different types of gongs though I recommend nickel silver alloy gongs - those made by the two largest producers are Meinl Sonic Energy and Paiste. If you share more about what you do and how you intend to use your gong I can give more feedback.
I've recently bought a 27" Tibetan gong because it's made from 7 metals with the flower of life on it, Wanted to buy a 42" one but could only afford the Chau and not Paiste. Would you go for a 42" Chau for £1400 or the 34" Paiste for £1700?
@@jainwells I've been producing records since the 90's, am a total analog lover and love hearing new sounds and frequencies that it generates. I see that you can buy 39" himalayan gongs for £1400 which is great. As well as the healing aspects, I plan to record it and do things people wouldn't imagine with it.
@@Deathtime88 hello, without being able to hear the Himalayan gong that you speak of I can't know if it has been made by a skilled gong maker which is critical to sound precision for both listening pleasure as well as healing benefit. If you have that amount to spend I would recommend a 32 or 36 inch Paiste planetary gong which has very high quality sound precision as a tuned gong OR the Meinl 36 inch Flower of Life gong. If you are in England these gongs are easy to locate at Sound Travels, UK and please mention I recommended them - they are well established. Jain
I love the way you educate us about gongs and gong playing for healing.

Thank you!❤
Thanks for this info
I bought a 20” Paiste symphonic gong and although it’s not 28” i’m hoping it will suffice being that i’m on a budget.

Most informative. Thankyou.
Excellent advice. Thankyou.
Can you give me advice for investing in a gong that will support attracting abundance and prosperity?
Hello, I recommend a 30" Paiste Sound Creation gong

what you buy depends on what your intent is. Can you share what you do?

What would you recommend for traveling sound healers? Would they be easy to transport?
Oetken for the win
Thank you blonde lady ❤
I just ordered the 32" paiste symphonic.
They are scarce.
Is the a special material you string it up with?
Thank you for your research and info! I, too, would like guidance on hanging them.
It's important to have a high quality stand to play and protect your gong.
