I'm REALLY excited about this series, btw. I watch crafting vids w/ my 5yo son, and he LOVE space ships, aliens, and everything that Stargrave promises!
Awesome build James! Definitely looking forward to playing the scenarios that you have written as well as playing the game itself. I may try something similar; however, I will probably use a yoga block for my cargo bay. You can use a knife to carve in to the foam, and using a heat gun to open the grooves you have cut. This will give the visual panel lines. I will definitely post photos once I make my own. Thank you for another great tutorial!
Great improvisation with a water gun! And really like the idea of the paper laid down on the work table so it can be used not only to keep the surface underneath from getting dirty but also be used as a paint palate. Great result!
You've got a good eye for conversion. That is awesome! I may have to do something like that soon. A buddy and myself have recently looked at resin prints and traditional spacecraft models and they are all super expensive. Also using that tank would be great for some smaller scatter.
Great job , thank you for the inspiration and information. I plan on hitting both dollar stores by me and 5 below my next day off. glad the goggles are back !
Good blog but one bit of constructive criticism space is a super frozen environment so there wouldn't be much external dust maybe a lot of grime and marks 'reentering atmospheres
Very cool. I just bought a couple of water guns at my local dollar store to turn into terrain, and I'm going to see if I can put something like this together. Thanks for the inspiration.
That's an awesome build. Tons of visual interest!
Love the look of this, those downward facing thruster-like greeblies on the sides are just great.
Yeah, they were added after I'd already primed the thing... I realized it was missing something.
Brilliant kitbash! Love the little details you added
Thank you, Max.

I hope he grows up to enjoy playing games with Dad!

Glad you liked the video.
Very very good work!!! And very creative!
I always like to see those water guns builds!
Extremely creative! Use dollar store items as a basis for your sci-fi and fantasy designs !
Glad you like it.
Bloody COOL as hell mate!!
Really nice work, man. Like it just leapt out of some olde sci-fi show
Looking forward to the next one

I was not exptecting that sweet end result from just a simple water gun xD
Btw, I love the animated intro :D
Awesome!🖖🤩👍

Welcome!
Is there a new link to where I can get the Stargrave solo campaign? The one in the description doesn't work.
Thanks.
Where are the engines that can make it move forward? I only see thrusters for take-off/landing...
The Guild needs a Discord and SubReddit. Not everyone uses Facebook.
Fair enough, but not everyone uses Discord and Reddit :)
@@jktechwriter. Yeah, but between the three it should cover all bases. And there's a way to link reddit and Facebook to discord
Dont invite me round...youll walk in on me trying to put water into that to see if it still works !!
What were the thrusters made of?
Caps from air freshener refills.
Every time I see one of these squirtgun builds I feel like I picked the wrong genre for my gaming.
Ha. There's nothing wrong with a spaceship crashing on a fantasy world. See "Expedition to Barrier Peaks"
Plus you have absolutely no need to limit yourself to a single genre, you can have your "main" one but still dabble on others
