Cargo plane: im hungry give me a helicopter

People, just think for a minute. If in a hypothetical situation where a helicopter needs shipping from the U.S to Europe, it wouldn't be able to make the flight because it cannot carry enough fuel, therefore it would have to be shipped by plane or boat instead. And in another hypothetical situation, it may need further testing at another site where the current location cannot fulfill that testing requirement before it can fly.

      @discoboy1500 7 лет назад +3

I can buy a carbon fiber sword for as little as $200, I mean something like $50,000 is a little too high but understandable but when you add another zero in the mix, That's when it gets fictional, I mean clearly the helicoptor wings are made from unicorn horns :p

Waw thanks for the explanation So its not made out of gold it is made out of 10x gold :p :P :P

idk, maybe is brand new, and the owner does not want any to touching, or a long distance

      S-92 top speed -190 mph
C-5 Galaxy top speed 590 mph
When factoring in fuel/maintenance costs, its much cheaper and more efficient to ship it on a c-5

lvxhze6 this helicopter has a 'HM Coastguard' livery which gives you a clue to the birds destination = Her Majesty's Coastguard is from the UK. You can't fly a helicopter over the Atlantic.

Matt Buxton, Good catch, I didn't realize it's for UK coastguard, thought it's US coastguard, it looks simila. 👍

Why don’t you just remove two and line the remaining two blades parallel to the helicopter

I suppose there is an excellent reason, but why arent they simply aligning the blades? Surely the exemple they give is innaccurate, its probably to reduce the lenght slightly, not to be able to fit it inside.

    • @born2fly94

what do you mean by aligning the blades?

louis Henry They are all connected if one turns they all the others turn.

Duck I think what he is talking about is the harness that goes over the tail boom so all you have to do is disconnect the electrical leads and remove one blade pin so you can swing the blades over the tail boom to lock them in the harness

    oh no no...
dont need to put currency number in here about helicopter...
    not important to big nosey...
it is a really waste time to take off the blades then put in the C-5 plane...
better use the two variable-sweep blades
