India most right now focus on building advanced air defence systems a multilayered air defence system which is completely indigenous is very important for India this is the true way India could safeguard itself. We know that our Air Force does not have many modern fighter jets in its Arsenal but when we have a proper missile defence system we would be able to defend ourselves
India should make humongous amount of all the types of missiles like ballastic, cruise, akash, anti radiation etc missiles untill the requirement of fighter jets, submarines, and aircraft carriers are not available in sufficient numbers.

Drdo is doing good in missile segment.... But it's awful performance in making jet engines,,tanks armored vehicles,,,and assault rifles and pistols,,,,,, even grenades are being imported
Is our Govt not fully supporting missile developments? The delay in various stages point out to this, either in the form of poor planning or lack of confidence in DRDO !!! But anyway, even though we might a bit late, we are there and let us wish DRDO all the best for the successful conduct of the upcoming tests under Project Vishnu .
Our missile development programs are one of the best in world ❤️. But we are lacking in production capacity and full Self-sufficiency in components, still more than 50% of components in brahmos is Russian, Bharak missile has 40% Israel components etc. So we can't produce missiles in numbers like China or Russia is doing, that's a big problem. Seeing how much ammunition is getting used in Ukraine - Russia, Israel with neighbors fights is alarming. If we get in to a situation to take on both china and Pakistan together, it will be very hard for our force's to sustain a war with current production capacity.
