Thanks so much for this - by booking workshops with a specific time it allows me to prioritize learning over other competing personal responsibilities without guilt. Tiny suggestion as a participant. Consider in future splitting the parts of the session into two 45 sessions so there is time for more effective Q&A and not rushed. Even if you think an hour would be more than enough time, giving that extra 30 min is a great safety buffer. As someone who has zero ability to determine how long something takes I fully understand how quickly time can get away from you.
Thank you. This is very helpful. The only part I could not get to work was flipping the card. Even when I grouped the text and card together- the swivel would only apply to the text. I tried erasing all the text and just adding the swivel to the card but there was no option to animate the card only in the selected state. So I re-added the text and tried a few more times but again, only the text would swivel. Any tips to troubleshoot this would be super appreciated!! Thanks!
This same situation is happening to me. I cant get the card to swivel with the text. I even tried creating a new project and restarting with the recording step by step. I am doing the exact same things as the presenters, but cant get the card to swivel. So frustrating! Yes please, tips and solutions welcome!!
I had this same issue! I'm not sure how efficient my solution is but I managed to get around it. I realised I couldn't add an animation to the original shape/rectangle whenever editing states, so I did the following: 1. edit selectedState 2. duplicate original rectangle 3. change original rectangle's shape fill and outline to white (to match background) 4. position duplicated rectangle in the exact same position as the original (grid/guide lines will help) 5. group duplicated rectangle and text before adding swivel animation I hope this helps someone! Definitely open to hearing if there is another/better way!

love the content so far and I'm following along. However, I'm having some issues. I'm at the slide size setup section and I'm clicked on ," custom" and it keeps changing to 960 for the height after changing it to 720 px. Is there something I am doing wrong? I don't want to proceed with the project because it's not scaled right for me

you have to uncheck fixed ratio I believe
