Qodosen SR-286 Digital Display Noise Quirk

Description and demonstration of the digital display noise quirk affecting some of the SR-286 models, but not others. This quirk was discovered by accident during "supercharging" (loopstick transplant) procedures on the model. Out of seven SR-286 models tested here (including one for the radio reviewer Jay Allen), three models have been totally noise free, two models have had this display noise to a moderate degree, and two models have had louder display noise. This is not a major drawback in receiving weak signal AM-DX, but since the "bread and butter" of a supercharged model is to go after extremely weak AM-DX signals on open frequencies, open disclosure of this quirk is best. It affects only reception of the weakest of AM-DX signals on the affected models, and then only as a minor nuisance.
