Thank you for the lesson, James. Stay safe and stay warm
Good job James , thanks for sharing YAH bless brother !
Loved this rifle in the beginning; now it's a jamomatic. Cleaned a million times and still jams.
@@PorkyHontas what type of ammo do you use?
@HarshmanHills CCI, Remington, Armscor, Winchester and Aguila. In fairness, the Aguila 36 grain functions almost flawlessly the last time I used that ammo. The rest just runs like ass.
@ hmm. I have found lead nose foul it up quick but copper runs good
@HarshmanHills yeah, I found the same, lead doesn't run well in this rifle. I'll try the 36 grain Aguila again. Been on a lever action kick in my backyard range lately.
Just bought one ! Thanks for sharing sir. 👍
Well done James. It’s a challenge on YT for sure.
Thank you for posting this! I just bought this as a starter rifle and needed to know how to clean it, thank you!!
@@BlackNWhiteLove17 my pleasure
Thanks for the lesson! I greatly appreciate it! God bless and stay safe!
This is a great video
seen this one for under 200 and i knew it was gonna be a streak not too many videos out there on it
I’ve got several videos on it and a couple more to come. My biggest thing is keep it well lubed
Who woulda thunked it! I never knew how to get to the firing pin assembly. Great video.
Thanks
Thanks for this. I find with the red dot moved up just a little it can stay in the rail during disassembly/reassembly and doesn't need to be resighted.
I have the tm22 with 20" barrel. 3 screws to get the rail off and the forearm will slide off. Couldn't get the barrel nut loose so I to use a bore snake. Great shooter and way easier to clean than my AR15. I always oil my bolt. Just me great video
There are little to no other videos covering the feather, I really appreciate your uploads covering it. I've been having nothing but issues with mine, started with Win Super X...every other round was a FTF or FTE, with one blowing up in my face. I then switched to CCI mini mag, only sent say 30 rounds of that through it, same issues except this time, there were a couple times I pulled the trigger and it wouldn't fire. I'm sure it's related to the other issues but only noticed it this time around.
I'm going to follow this video along with the manual, clean it up really good and potentially give it some lube..hopefully that in combination with the mini mag ammo will finally free me from the sky high fail rate. If not, I may have to send it in for repair.
I appreciate it. Are you having light strikes
@@HarshmanHills I think that's what was happening when I'd pull the trigger but the round wouldn't fire. I cleaned it up last night, haven't taken it out again yet to see if it's working smoother. I don't have a rifle cleaning kit yet, just pistol so I'll have to grab one and clean the barrel out still. There was a piece of shrapnel lodged under the pic rail so I don't know if I trust not cleaning the barrel first lol
Great 22lr shooter u have there Harshman. I"m buying the RIA Lite TM22 rifle too, it's in jail until i get it out of layaway on 10/3/2024 Unstill then i'm buying small parts for the rifle.
Yessir brother keep up the good work!
I use the can air for dusting keyboards, works great blowing out the crud in a firearm.
You may want to clean the barrel too!
Thanks again for the vid on this appreciate you
I have the same one I took shooting for the first time but after a while it Jamed and blew my mag out the bottom any reason that happens
@@davidmendoza2554 sounds like it fouled up. What ammo were you using
My Armscor-Derya TM22 Feather purchased through "I Run Guns" in Canada came with a nice self-explanatory manual. So I don't quite unerstand that you couldn't get a manual.
No idea honestly.
I cannot get the charge handle off it stripped very easy and is so dang tight so i clean it best i can but cannot remove the charging block 😢
Updat finally got the charge handle screen out and replaced from screws from home depot they are m4 ×25mm (m4.7 x25mm)
Maybe back then but now they do have a pdf manual, no problem trying to find it
Nice but I could only find for regular TM22, not feather lite but I’ll look again
Stupid question. Why does the thumbnail pic show the carry handle flush with the rear of the front grip, but in your video, the picatinny rail hangs out over the front grip?🧐. Just curious if you changed it, or if im seeing it wrong.
With my wifes I leave the handle about an 1" hanging off the back because it's super tight as well as when it's flush it kind of seems like it pushes down on the forearm. The Pic is not 100% accurate.
This is just a stock picture
Can I change the hand guard so I can put more of a tactical Grip on?
per Rock Island, no. It doesn't have the ability to lock in similar to a normal AR
@@HarshmanHills Ok, Thanks!
Do you know of any specific lubrication points on it?
none specifically
@@HarshmanHills
I appreciate the reply, I've been looking like crazy to find where to lubricate the little rifle. After about 200 rounds it finally started malfunctioning on me, hoping a clean and minor lube will help. She's also very picky on ammo for me. Overall for 197$ here in CA it's a nice little introductory rifle for my son.
@@gerardofierros4165 that’s what happened with mine. That’s why I did the complete breakdown. Do that and lube it up and you should be good to go
@@HarshmanHills thank you brother, appreciate you!
@@gerardofierros4165 that’s crazy man only 200 rounds what are you useing?? I’ve ran 700 so far without cleaning it only one light strike drown it in CLP and it’ll runn awhile without cleaning it
Awesome
Nice Bibbs !
How do you install the carrying handle
@@theallamericannightmare4163 it has screws
Any chance you know if you can change out the hand guards and remove the A2 post and replace with a gas block or something?
I have had several all about the hand guards and I haven’t tried but I will order a set and try. The front sight post easily comes off. I would think you could put a gas block on it but it would be for pure decoration and not serve any purpose as far as I know
@@HarshmanHills Thanks for the info, and I will wait to see what you find. I will keep looking myself.
Dang brother you’re pumping out some videos. It’s hard to get caught up. It’s a nice economical platform.
I do them in bulk lol. I have videos pretty much lined up 5 days a week for at least a month lol
Is your tm the feather? If it is. Does it have a polymer frame? I'm just wondering how it stands up to the all metal version?
Yes it is and has been holding up great
Interesting takedown
How do you take the buttstock off?
I’m sure you can but not that I know how to
@@HarshmanHills I can't figure it out either, that makes two of us.
👍🏽🙂🤙🏾
Must be gun cleaning week
I went to range again yesterday. More to clean lol
Hey I just got 1 of those today. RIA TM22 a 18. Now do they have the same issues with the rubber stopper as the other TM 22s?
@@Andrew-ix6ni rubber stop?
