This was another great episode! Young Elizabeth was named after Fred's late wife. Season 4 is when Fred's character started to mellow out.

@@jamesschaffhausen4466 Fred's wife,Lamont's Mom Elizabeth passed away 20 years before the show started. They never said what she died from but you knew Fred loved her very much. I believe it's the MAIN reason Fred never remarried.

I always thought Elizabeth (Tina Andrews) and Delores (Berlinda Tolbert) are/were beautiful women. The actor who played Lewis (Ray Vitte) suffered an early death, after a scuffle with LAPD in 1983, he was only 33 years old, may he rest in peace...

The LAPD didn’t have scuffles. They beat the s out of people. Probably died from too many hits to the head.
