People have asked me for clarity on why Calvary split and I have shared The board chose Brian and he split Calvary into two CGN vs CCA…. Your pastors will know more and please reach out to them… I love my family and lived with both the Brodersen’s and my grandparents in my adult years and know this is a very difficult and sensitive subject. However, hopefully God will reach those who needed clarity and peace in this topic. Blessing
Eh... Howzit 🤙🏽 Vanessa… HUGE thank you for sharing this. I grew up at CCCM as a teen and I’m indebted to your grandfather (Papa Chuck and Mama Kay) for being in the ministry. This needed to be shared and disregard all the naysayers. Praying for the whole Smith ohana… Mike
Go see the vid by Brother Martyn - the division begins. I stopped going to 501(c)3: Church many years ago. By the way I got fed on the air waves many, many years by Chuck Smith, bless his memory, and visited once in California. He was a wonderful man of the love of YHWH. Judgement is upon the household of God.
I was a trucker traveling America with some boxes filled with Chuck Smith cassette tapes. There were times I had to pullover and stop my truck because I was broken and emotional and blessed. I’m forever grateful. I visited many Calvary fellowships across America. Best part of my week.
I wandered into Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in early 1973. I sat, in awe, under the teaching of Pastor Chuck. Simple. Unhurried and unashamed of teaching all of God’s truth, from all 66 books. I was a wounded Vietnam Vet, angry, hurt, confused and lost. And for the very first time in my life, I heard God’s voice, calling me by name. I am forever grateful for Chuck’s teaching, his incredible, loving smile which illuminated his entire face. Chuck was an exceptional man, a faithful servant and a knowledgeable teacher. The virtual civil war within the CC movement has been painful to watch, but Chuck’s reach has traversed the globe, bringing countless thousands to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Thank you for the courage you displayed here by posting your honest observations. It is never the wrong time to do the right thing.
Thank you for the clarity. I was a huge fan of Pastors' Perspective on Kwave 107.9 and I gradually started hearing things that sent me in a ? mode like what did I just hear? It truly can be confusing especially for the new believer who may not have the discernment of knowing what the bible teaches on certain topics. I would think in my mind if Pastor Chuck heard this, he would be disappointed, to say the least. I thank God for Pastor Chuck and will pray for the ministry of CCCM. May no weapon formed against us prosper 🙏🙌
I am the grateful wife of an incredible man who is also a wounded Vietnam Vet. Chuck Smith and Calvary Chapels have had major impact on our lives and the lives of our children and family members. We love and appreciate so many of the Calvary Chapel Pastors, Skip Heitzig, Greg Laurie, Jack Hibbs, Robert Furrow and many more that all teach like Chuck Smith taught them. . .
Perhaps this IS the Genesis of CCCM downfall and falling away. I listen to Chuck Smith 'The Word for Today' directly. I have not listened to CCCM in years. They have went in a 'different direction' which has probably repelled people seeking Faith in Jesus.
As a Calvary Pastor ….. first and foremost I will never leave the verse by verse, chapter by chapter that your grandfather so beautifully taught. I know that this hurts for you ….understandably …. however I want you to know that there are many holding the torch.
AMEN!! Anything OTHER chan chapter and verse, is bound to be New Age, as we have clearly seen. When the emotional is favored over the rational, you have The Great Deception. Chuck fought for YEARS to keep New Age out of Calvary, and now look... Chuck smartly kicked out Wimber, who then gave rise to Bill Johnson of Bethel and the biggest HERESY in modern history.
Brian's "church" sounds like an organization using worldly wisdom and wordly ways. Chuck's church stayed faithful to the simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ and He was true to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes God allows these happenings to teach His people..His ways vs the world's ways. It is clarity between the two. God is so good. Faithful and true.
Aloha Vanessa, my name is JD Farag and I pastor Calvary Kaneohe in Hawaii. I actually never, and I mean never, comment on any Social Media platforms, however, i had to make an exception as one of your subscribers. First, you are just so precious, honest, loving, gracious and kind. Second, I knew your Grandfather, Pastor Chuck who was not only my Pastor, but my Pastor's Pastor and listen to his teachings every day to this day as I have been for over 42+ years now. The purpose of my comment, which is from my personal channel and not my public Calvary Kaneohe channel, is to just encourage you, bless you and let you know that you are loved and appreciated by so many, not to mention the multitudes that are praying for you and your family of which I am one!!! Also, please give my love to your amazing mother!!! Much love until that trumpet sounds!!! jd
Pastor JD, I have listened to your Bible studies and prophecy updates quite a bit, and I want you to know God has used you mightily to bless me. Aloha!
@JDFarag-uj7wk GOD BLESS all who are solid in the Word of God, not any particular man. With that said, so many have been Blessed by you JD, AND Pastor Chuck. And many others like Jack Hibbs, Etc… not every Pastor resonates with every person which is why God gave us varied gifts and we are called the Body of Christ. We are each needed for a particular purpose as God saw fit. MARANATHA Friends 🙏🙏🤗
Not any more.. Brian borderson destroyed chucks church and the name should not be used anymore.. it is NOT a Calvary Chapel church.. he is not humble and is full of himself..
Pastor David Rails says, As one of the young people who came on Sunday nights, and sat under Pastor Chuck's teaching. i will forever be grateful to Pastor Chuck Smith's loving spirit and his honest teaching style. He would lead us in singing worship and praise for 45 minutes or more, with no instruments, just the guys and the gals singing different parts. Then Chuck would open his Bible and share for an hour from God's word, making the scriptures come to life! From Genesis to Revelation, he led us to the throne of God.
Beautifully said. I was one of those young people. I remember those days, very well. Blessings David! The reuinons one day, are going to be such a blast!!!
@@kennethgilman3215 Chuck's paddle out at HB pier was the biggest one I ever saw, and he memorial was the largest I have ever been to, and one of the best days of my life seeing what the Lord did in Chuck's life through all the LEGACY he left us! Blessings Kenneth.
Thank you for speaking out. I attend CCCH. It is a CCA church. Pastor Jack explained how CC divided, but I was always curious about how your grandma felt about Brian making the changes. I'm so glad to hear that she didn't agree with Brian's philosophies. Thank you again for explaining. I will share this with others who were left confused.
So good to hear someone from the Smith family speak the truth of what actually happened. So sad how they took over and soiled the legacy of CCCM. I attended Calvary Chapel West Covina growing up with pastor Raul Ries. I wS so blessed by the sound doctrine teachings from the holy word of God. I now attend Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and continue to be blessed by with a true shepherd who love the lord Jesus. We are all so thankful for pastor Chuck Smith for being a true servant of God. God bless you and your family. 🙏 Maranatha! 💜👑🙌🏻😇
Jack Hibbs is so far from a 'true shepherd' that your statement is laughable. He is a teacher of the Word, I'll give you that, but he does not know his flock. He is not a shepherd.
I lived in Souther Cal in the 70’s and 80’s. I listened to Chuck Smith on the radio every day driving to see patients. What a great teacher and gift he was to me.
Well, I don’t live close enough to attend Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills, my husband and I watch Jack Hibbs every sermon. We love him. We do plan to make a trip there just to see him in person.
Such a blessing . As a parent there is nothing greater than to see our children following the Lord. My kids are 28 and29 years old. They actually attended calvary chapel's maranatha chirstian academy through 8th grade. They feel away radically and yet through persistent prayer then are both walking with the Lord now.
Chuck Smith was a blasphemer. You don't believe it? Here is the proof; "Make the Pastor Look Good. Never make him look bad. This is a basic principle of employment. Make the boss look good. Give him the credit for your good ideas. Decrease that he might increase. The Ministry of an Assisting Pastor, p. 17, Published by Calvary Chapel Bible College, 1994.
God bless you young lady, I was one of those that saw Brian tear the Church apart as soon as pastor Chuck passed. My wife and I were just talking about possibility would your grandfather possibly be one of the elders talked about? Wouldn't surprise me but I know pastor Chuck is going to have a wheelbarrow full of crowns. He was an awesome pastor. A man of God. Maranatha may the Lord come quickly
Hey Vanessa, I had removed my comments twice because simply put I have no dog in this fight as I'm Catholic and have not attended Calvary Chapel in years. I considered Brian Brodersen one of my best friends at one time. We worked together, as he once got me a job in Huntington Beach, roomed together and attended Church. I knew Brian because we attended the same high school. We never had a falling out but just went different ways in life where Brian married Cheryl when he was young, and I wasted lots of time doing foolish things before I finally got my heart right with the Lord. With that being said, even though I didn't always agree with your granddad on things theologically I always respected him. Even to this day when I listen to his past sermons it's clear Chuck Smith was gifted by God with passion and a purpose to bring the Word of God to many. I was shocked to see that Brian aligned himself or was at the very least sympathetic to CRT, BLM, and spoke critically of Christians who thought the lockdowns were wrong. I highly doubt that your grandfather would have supported any of that. The riots, the lockdowns were devastating to this country and affected many people's lives and faith who have to this day still not recovered. I thought that it was astonishing to learn that Brian Brodersen aligned himself with BLM, the whole narrative of white privilege. This is not the guy I had once known. Brian Brodersen has clearly lost his way. I had heard CCCM was not the same and that many people had left. As I mentioned I have no dog in this fight as I last spoke to Brian in person in 2008 and had a brief conversation with him online in 2016. I think about Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and the days when your grandfather was there. It's sad that CCCM is barely a shadow of what it once was.

@@pmarieb4083 Do you believe that anyone in the Body of Christ could rightly apply these words of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to himself? _He must increase, but I must decrease._ (John 10:30) * The only one who could apply these words to Himself is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ; Himself. For Smith to apply these words to himself it to make himself equal with Christ, and this is utter blasphemy. * If C.T. Rusell, Joseph Smith or some other cult leader applied these words to himself, you and I would rightly charge him with blasphemy since claiming such an exalted position is tantamount to placing oneself on par with Christ; i.e. equality with our Lord. Smith thought very highly of himself, and was, in essence saying _Make me look good…never make me look bad, and give me credit for your good ideas…you decrease that I might increase; i.e. exalt me (millions in Calvary Chapel do it every day cf. this comment board.
I was a baby Christian and through the Holy Spirit I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior!!! Raul Reis, Mike Macintosh, Greg Laurie and many of those pastors gave me through the Bible verse by verse teachings ! Thank you for following the teachings of God!!!
I would even go as far as to say this is the biggest pillar that defines Calvary Chapels all across the world. To move away from teaching the Bible book by book is really wrong.
I live in Laveen- I used to go to John Higgins church in Tempe. I know he split from CC over what the Brodersons were doing there but they stay with the verse by verse teaching
Oh my goodness! I thought I was the only one! I live in Kingman and stream Calvary CCH's as well! Look at all of us! I can hardly wait to meet you in the air, my sisters in Christ from Arizona!

I sat under Pastor Chuck many years ago at a Pastor’s conference in Merritt Island Florida. He taught on the 3rd generation changing and moving away from the truth. It saddens me to see this has happened. I will always cherish the strong foundations of the truth of God’s Word that I learned from Pastor Chuck! I have always remembered that teaching and used it as a measure for all the false teachings that are in the church today.
God bless you for boldly speaking out for Truth. I recently. Started attending a Calvary church in Motherwell. Scotland and our dear pastor loves the Word of God and preaches faithfully from Genesis to Revelation. The whold counsel of God. God bless. you for defending Truth.
I never sat physically under Pastor Chuck's ministry. What I can attest to, that while I lived in San Diego California, a very turbulent time in my life, I would listen to Pastor Chuck daily. He always provided the messages to help get through another turbulent day. The Maranatha music was a spiritual high I needed daily. I thank God for His goodness He provided through Pastor Chuck and Maranatha music. Praise God 👏 🙌 👏 🙏🏼
Thank you for clarifying. Pastor Chuck dedicated me to the Lord in the tent, and prayed for me to receive the Holy Spirit as a teen. I loved your grandpa and his anointed teaching so very much. I listen to his recorded sermons to this day. I currently attend online (I'm bedridden) at Calvary Diamond Bar - Pastor Raul, and a few other Calvarys that hold true to Pastor Chuck's vision and the Calvary Distinctives - teaching and preaching the whole counsel of God, avoiding new age philosophies and not conforming to this world's views. God bless you, and keep you, and make His face shine upon you. May He be gracious to you, and lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
Calvary Chapel Philadelphia, under the leadership of Joe Focht, is still Book by Book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse and we have been blessed for many years. Pastor Joe considers Pastor Chuck his pastor to this day. Thank God for the churches that have been faithful to Gods Word, and pray for the others.
yes, Ruth, so many of us here at Philadelphia, PA are so very very grateful that our precious Pastor Joe had Pastor Chuck as his pastor. I remember when Pastor Chuck visited our church. His smile and his spirit lit up the room. Thank you to Pastor Chuck's granddaughter for sharing this information and yes, we will keep all in our prayers.
@@CalvaryChapelGal I have been with CCPhilly for almost 30 years. Joe is a great teacher and has such a great sense of humor. I first found out about him in 1995, listening to WFIL when I was in search of a place to worship and I felt that the Lord led me to that church. Here in 2024, some other Calvary pastors, seemed to have spiritually lost their way and it's upsetting. I guess the Lord is starting to separate the wheat from the tares.
@@jocelynharris-fx8ho Thanks for replying Jocelyn. I have been beyond blessed with Pastor Joe's solid Scripture teachings at CCPhilly since 1997! I'm hoping to see you one Sunday or perhaps at a women's study. My name is Mae Guerra. God bless you Jocelyn and thank you for clearing up some of the confusion that occurred when this sad split happened. Praying for healing. .
My wife and I, rededicated our life to the Lord at Calvary Chapel Honolulu in Hawaii, 12 years ago and we’re still there, following the course that God gave Pastor Chuck Smith! The full counsel of God is so important and vital to our walk and growth in Christ! Prayers for all of Calvary Chapels around the world!
I too attended CCH the same time you did at the movie theatre. Love Pastor Bill and Danita. When they moved to Pearl City, my wife and I went to another church...not a good move. Much Aloha to you...Chuck is missed so much.

Always listened to Kwave and loved pastors perspective when Grandpa Chuck was on. Some hard questions would get asked and Chuck gave that hard answer, but it was a biblical answer and probably not what the caller wanted to hear. He did say it in a loving way though. I've had a hard time with Brian when he would answer those same type of questions and he would just do the Mexican hat dance , I would say to myself "that's not what Chuck would have said". Your Grandpa taught me The truth. When we would go on vacation we would always say let's go to a Calvary because it was always safe and we would hear the word. Guess not so anymore. Seeing the bible college get sold off, radio stations going by the wayside saddens me. Thank you Grand daughter putting this out there.
It's crucial to distinguish between CGN with Brian and CCA (Calvary Chapel Association), which has stayed true to Pastor Chuck's vision and commitment to the original Calvary Distinctives. I pastor a Calvary that is CCA and we are wholeheartedly committed to the truth of God's Word in context. We have stayed the course and many of us have. When looking at a Calvary, make sure you understand the difference between Brian & CGN and the churches who have followed him & churches like ours who remained faithful to the CCA and the philosophy of minister that Pastor Chuck gave us.

Loved Pastor Chuck Smith! I loved the way he taught the Bible verse by verse! I was baptized by him in Corona Del Mar on 9/29/90, the best day of my life! He was a loving and humble man, he is very much missed!❤️
I was born again in 1977 and my friend gave me some Calvary Chaple teaching tapes. They were my first lessons in the Word. Your grandpa gave me such a firm foundation and I'll always be grateful. Still listen today and every Sunday to Jack Hibbs CCCH. I'm in Texas and go to a wonderful church that preaches the whole council of the Lord.
We ask that the lord blesses you 4 bringing such clarity. We had NO IDEA about the split and we just happened to watch your video. It all makes sense now. We loved P Chuck & now we love YOU, Vanessa. You got2 prayer warriors in your corner now!
My life was radically changed because CCCM in the late 2000s. I was in my mid 20s when I listened for the first time to Chuck and Brian explaining passages in the Bible. BB became my spiritual father and favorite teacher. I was baptized by him at Pirates Cove. Although I moved out of state, I continued to support BackToBasics ministry financially because I saw how God was working through it. I was also a CCCM missionary in Europe later on, for a couple years. In a few instances, I traveled to CA just to participate to the retreats for the men at the Hot Springs and in Twin Peaks. During one of those retreats I asked Brian face to face about R Warren and others that he is associating with and why they are invited on Kwave, to which Brian assured me there is nothing there, they are just brothers in Christ that do things differently. I was not at ease with his response. But I continued to stand with him, up until I saw clearly his “white fragility” that he displayed during the BLM riots, his stance on freedom of speech basically standing in the same camp with the state oppressors. I saw the entire CCCM changing, from the songs that are sang in such way that you need subtitles on to understand what they are saying, to the demographics of the assistant pastors, to fully standing in agreement with F. Collins, D. French and other liberal “christian” minds. Lots of devoted people left, people who served with him for decades. That was it for me. I withdrew all our support and never visited since 2020 because I am certain the trajectory he is on is wrong. I hope people wake up before there is nothing left of that place, nothing that resembles of what it used to be.
My pastor's pastor is your Grandpa. Chuck Smith is the OG of pastors. I am so grateful for the distinctive values of CC and the teaching of God's word; word by word, verse by verse, chapter by chapter and book by book.
I had the privilege of meeting Pastor Chuck at a youth pastor’s conference at the Calvary Chapel Bible College. What an amazing man! I am now a verse by verse Bible teaching pastor today. New Testament on Sundays and Old Testament on Wednesday night. His spiritual legacy continues!
Thank you for sharing, Pastor chuck is still my biggest mentor and I have had his C-2000 through the bible series for over 20 years so I can listen to his teachings any time I want to.
The story that you told is almost exactly the story I got 11 years ago. Thank you for sharing. I MUST tell you that I LOVED Pastor Chuck so much! Before I moved away, I attended CC in the 1970s. I vividly remember Sunday mornings in the sanctuary. Chuck would come out with a huge smile and an absolute glow about him. And before he taught, he would dedicate babies to the Lord, which it seemed he loved doing. Further, Chuck was good friends with Chuck Missler, and I ended up in the same place where Missler taught and attended his teaching for several years. Two blessed men! These last days are rapidly becoming more and more bizarre. Many megachurches having scandal and/or straying from the true word of God. It's beyond heartbreaking. At the appointed time, God has promised to make all the crooked places straight.
Praise the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY for Chuck and Kay having a granddaughter who tells the truth! My parents last name was Slade, they often were next door to Chuck and Kay at retreats. Also my mom and dad were with them going to Israel on a couple of occasions. They loved Chuck and Kay. I and my sister grew up with the best of his teaching. All the way through the Bible. I am so glad you explained what happened. God will not be mocked and I am sure that applies to the men of God He chose like Chuck. I thank you for being a woman of God to set things right for many who wondered. Brian and Cheryl are in trouble if they don't change their ways with God almighty!
It’s very sad what happened with the Calvary Chapel division. Thank you for speaking up for your grandparents, he had such a heart for teaching Gods Word. 😢
Thank you for sharing. I started listening to Pastor Chuck just before he had learned he was sick and had to pull off to the side of the road when I heard the news he had went home to be with his Master.
Brian, was our pastor in the mid to late 80’s. At first we thought he was doing a pretty good job for awhile. Cheryl invited a woman to come speak at our women’s Bible study. I was really troubled by what went on there that night. I talked to my husband about it and we prayed about it over and over. One Saturday morning he went to see Brian to talk specifically about the issue. Brian told my husband that he needed to get control of his wife or we could both leave and not return. We had been very involved with the congregation, my husband was really heartbroken with that. We never went back. It was a very painful time and we had a hard time finding a good church. It’s hard to trust when you’re so deeply hurt by your pastor. I forgot to say that at the time services were held in a very small church in Vista, California. I don’t think Pastor Chuck was ill at that time so I’m pretty sure he set his daughter and son in law up with Brian’s first church.
I’m so sorry you and your husband experienced that harshness, invalidation, and abandonment from your trusted spiritual leader. It sounds like you guys were spared early on from a wolf in sheep’s clothing but we’re still left with the hurt of betrayal and rejection. That’s extremely emotionally traumatic to the soul. My parents met in a church that was run very much like a cult during the Jesus movement, also in O.C. CA. The men were very controlling and had backwards ideas of how to treat their God given helpmates. I saw so many turned off and away from the Lord because of what they experienced in that environment. I’m grateful you and your husband had the wisdom to leave. I pray for your continued healing. God is faithful.
@@estherramos7557 Thank you. It was really painful at the time but it’s been 40 years since then and my darling husband is at home with The Lord. Rob Salvatio , I’m pretty sure I am misspelling his name, but he was our youth pastor then. About 16 years ago we asked him if he would lead the Memorial for our then 9 year old son. We were so thankful. Seven years ago he visited our home to visit my husband who was on hospice. We are so thankful for his love of God’s word and his congregation. He is a wonderful teacher. It is heartbreaking to see what has happened to Pastor Chuck’s amazing teaching and to know this would be heartbreaking to him and your grandmother.
I went to CC Bible College in 2000, BB spoke there occasionally. I got a bad feeling from him, something was off, but couldn’t put my finger on it; your experience doesn’t surprise me.
Thank you for your referral. I truly appreciate your concern. But I’m burned out on pastors. Not one of the Calvary Chapel pastors where I attended, two to three times a week, visited with me or gave me any comforting counsel after my son committed suicide. I tried but got nothing. What happened to “rejoice with those that rejoice and mourn with those that mourn”? And “bare one another’s burden”? Then my back went out badly and I’ve been bed bound for over 2 years, closer to 3. And the same thing. Except for about 3 visits. Nobody else either. No what it’s like to NEVER have human interaction? I’m use to it now, mostly. But one visit every 365 days! Me I’ll pray and read God’s precious, lovely, AWESOME Word over and over. Pray and worship in my house the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!!! Praise the Lord!😊 But because “iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold.” And I think because of Matthew chapter 7 many who think they are going to Heaven won’t. “Depart from Me … I never knew you. When I was sick, in prison, etc. you didn’t minister to Me through these people. (Paraphrase). There’s actually more. But you didn’t even ask for this much so I’ll spare you.
✝️🙏Then You Should Listen To Pastor Jack Hibbs At Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. He Learned Much From Pastor Chuck Smith Back In The Day. Jack Teaches THE Bible A-Z "Like" Chuck Did. Pastor Jack Is Totally Solid At Keeping "Replacement Theology" OUT Of His Church. He Is The Best.🙏✝️
Being a Jesus Hippy and living at Jesus People USA it was like Chuck was our spiritual dad. Had the joy of meeting Chuck when on a Jewish outreach in LA years back. Love Calvary and its solid teaching and so sad to hear what is happening and may Jesus step in and raise up the right leadership in all Calvary Chapel 😊 hehe watched the Jesus Revolution movie 16 times and alot of that was me and now been in full time ministry for 34 years sharing Jesus with all folks and doing tons of hippy new age festivals . So we love yall in Jesus
Let me say, I started going to CCCM in the mid seventies at the age of 15. I miss Pastor Chuck. Since Brian has taken over and the odd things that started to go on at the church, I haven’t gone back. I miss the systematic teaching of the Bible like pastor Chuck used to do. Fortunately, I have the TWFT app, and I can listen to all the studies.
@@redsorgum I loved The Word for Today and listened on the radio for years in Boston and got so much from it. It is good they do still have it and they have things on blueletterbible of his too.
As you were talking, the scripture of David and his son Adonijah came to mind. The one who wanted to take over the throne, but he was not the rightful heir to it. May God's will be done in this matter. He will work all things for the good for those who love Him and are the called according to His purposes. We put our trust in Him and Him alone. I started attending CC in 2021. God called me there while I was reading the Word one morning. I knew it was because He wanted me to learn the bible in it's proper context and also about Grace... Glory to God. I didn't know about this huge split or these big names except for Pastor Chuck Smith and his Wife. I have received solid teaching from CC, the other stuff doesn't even phase me. I sinced moved, but one of my very first CC pastor's and his wife were full of love, very hard working, humble and kind in every way. Pastor Chuck and Kay left a beautiful imprint of what true shepherds are. God's Word will always hold true and outlast anything else. I know I am getting solid teaching of the bible. Just because there's been some interruption this would not cause me to leave CC. How can you leave solid teaching of the Word? I don't follow after distractions, hype or man, because the Word always supercedes that. Thank you so much for honoring your grandparents legacy and sharing their hearts with us. God bless your family and Calvary Chapel!!!! 🙌 👑 🙌
My family was saved at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Will forever be grateful to Chuck Smith for faithfully teaching the Word to the end. We are staying the course. Thankful for the Pastor’s like John Randall and other CCA pastors who are staying the course. Numbers don’t lie. Costa Mesa CC is on life support while the churches that continue to adhere to the Calvary Distinctives are flourishing.
Exactly. It IS the Lord’s business! I would listen to Chuck Smith all the time when I lived in S Cal during my years in the Marine Corps in the early 80s. Years later After moving back east I started listening to him again and would occasionally hear Broderson on the sermon archives and I could tell that he was not of the same mindset as Chuck. Even then I couldn’t understand why Pastor Chuck had him preaching. I would never waste one minute of my life listening to BB. The church split did not surprise me at all. The birds of the air nest even in the branches of CCCM. Very sad.
Numbers can lie. Joel Olsteen has a massive congregation. Pornographers draw massive numbers as well. Please reconsider attendance as your metric for God’s will being done.
Your granddad was a tremendous blessing to the modern evangelical body of Christ as evidenced by the fruit he produced through his service for the Kingdom of God. Thanks for explaining what happened since Pastor Chuck passed onto glory.
I am so relieved by this. I was wondering how in the world Pastor Chuck could have chosen BB as his replacement, how he could not have seen him for what he is. I had my fill of BB listening to Pastor’s Perspective on the radio, he said a few things that sent up immediate red flags. Pastor Chuck was incredible and I am so very thankful for him because our pastor, Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chino Hills, was a disciple of his and in turn, teaches us strictly from the Bible. No progressive BB nonsense at CCCH. Like Pastor Jack says, God is separating the wheat from the tare. He is letting bad churches die. Hopefully someone else can resurrect CCCM, but it doesn’t sound like that will happen anytime soon. We will see God’s will in the future for each and every Calvary Chapel.
So cool! Thank you for sharing ! I attended CCBC at the hot springs in 2000, it was probably the best season of my life! Set me apart for the rest of my 46 years of life! When they closed it, I was perplexed spiritually because it was such an amazing place ! I heard Brian had a big part to closing it! And that basically made sense! Your a brave brave lady! GOD definitely used you with this video!

When I lived in California I went to Jack Hibb’s church for around 3 years; but at one point I went to Brian Brodersen’s church for about a month. I found Brian to be somewhat watered-down, and overall the church was fairly flat in the Spirit. It’s too bad there was not an overt “Joshua” to take over for Chuck Smith, or an appointed governing body. There are still many solid Calvary Chapel’s out there, but let’s lift them up in prayer: “Father, I lift up Calvary Chapel to you Lord, your will be done. It has been a special church over the years, a church your Holy Spirit has worked through much. I pray your Holy Spirit will continue to lead and guide and influence, and that you will set all of the issues straight. I pray you will raise up who ought to be raised up, and bring low who ought to be brought low. I lift up Brian Brodersen to you Lord, your will be done. I love you and I lift this all up in Jesus mighty name. Amen.” ❤️🙏🔥✝️🔥🙏❤️
Very well said Vanessa- and having been on staff for so long with Pastor Chuck myself, and after talking with your Uncle Paul and others- you simply verify again what the truth is- and we are to “rejoice in the truth.” Thank you and Lord bless you! Talia says hello too!
I listen to your Grandfathers sermons over and over. I just love the way he preached. Thank God for the tapes of his. I walk every day listening to him.
This really grieves me to know. The foundation of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and verse by verse teaching through the old and New Testament that Chuck Smith taught by is not continuing. This form of teaching Gods word taught me so much about our Lord Jesus. A house divided will not stand. Praying that new leadership will prevail and Paster Chuck Smith’s verse by verse teaching will return. There are many other Calvary’s that continue teaching Pastor Chuck’s way. Jesus is the cornerstone for all Gods churches.
Thank you for this; it’s sad that this has happened; glad there are still churches called Calvary Chapel that are teaching as Chuck did; the whole counsel of God….
Pastor Chuck's voice heralded a simple and solid teaching for everyone: "The OT is the NT concealed, and the NT is the OT reavled. A plain exposition of God's Word.
When I lived in Southern California, I used to visit Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. I loved to listen to Chuck Smith's teaching and I was blessed by it. I knew he was not perfect, but he was faithful in teaching the Bible. It's sad to hear what has happened to it.
Thank you for sharing. I noticed a difference immediately when Brian came to Calvary and NOT for the better. I had several crusades at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa with UNITED MARTIAL ARTS FOR CHRIST and it grieved my spirit when Brian started preaching.
Before I really even knew about Calvary Chapel, I followed the great teaching of your grandpa - I can’t imagine how hard it would be to see a work changed by man but I watched another church where I am, do the very same thing. We are living in a time where God either is strong and the entire Bible is taught or it is woke with world philosophy. Our church here went from thriving to almost dead in less than 10 years. Fortunately, we are in another church and also follow Jack Hibbs in Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. Pastor Chuck’s legacy still goes on. Jesus just prunes dead branches. ❤ Thanks for the well delivered message explaining 🥰
Your grandparents were awesome! Being apart of that church is what led me to become a believer. I am amazed when I look at the older sermons of your grandfather teaching Revelation and every single word is coming to pass. That was over thirty years ago. I believed him then and still believe him today. He was definitely blessed and guided by the hand of God. Thank you for this video. It’s nice to hear you stand up for him (as you always have I’m sure) because as far as I’m concerned his heart was in the right place and he loved our Lord. 🙏
Vanessa, this video came across my RUclips feed today, which led me to watching more of your content. I was born again in 2003, came out of drugs and alcohol. I am very thankful that I was able to fellowship at a calvary chapel in those days. I was 23 at the time and very lost. The chapter by chapter, verse by verse, gave me such a strong foundation in Christ. It may seem closed-minded to some, but there is no other way we should be reading God's word, but by chapter and verse. May the Lord Jesus truly bless you and your family.
Touch not the money, touch not the women, touch not the wine, touch not the glory! Pastor Dave at my church came in under pastor Chuck and always mentions he spoke those words at a pastors conference! I never met him but often listen to his sermons on Blue Letter Bible, amazing man of God and teacher! God's word is the same yesterday, today and forever. Love you all!
I attended CCCM for years until I had to move. Pastor Chuck was anointed with godly wisdom and teaching the whole and undiluted word of God. I've always watched whatever was available by him on-line and will continue to do so. Praying God removes brian🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 satan loves to use people to destroy churches while leading people astray. brian will answer to God. You're in my prayers. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for sharing this. It must have been a difficult decision. I live in Alabama. Never been to California. Never met Pastor Chuck. The first time I ever heard of him was in 2016 when I came across the Blue Letter Bible app while I was preparing sunday school lessons. I started listening to his sermons on my hour long commute each day. I learned so much from him. I've been a Christian my whole life. I'm 52 years old now. His teachings had such and impact on me. I wish I had heard him sooner. I learned more from him than I ever have from any other pastor or any other resource. Now, I am a pastor. have been for 5 years. I model my preaching and church services after Chuck Smith as best I can. We are a small independent congregation, who recently walked away from the UMC. We are not affiliated with calvary chapel. I did consider it though. But, we had a lot of other things going on at the time. So, I decided I will just do church the Chuck way even if we are not officially a calvary chapel church. My congregation is now learning more than they ever have learned before, because of this verse by verse teaching that I learned from your grandpa. I am so glad that his sermons have been preserved. I listen to him everyday. His legacy still lives on. More importantly, the work of God continues and he is still inspires people like me that find him through the various places his sermons are available. God bless you and your family. Thank you for sharing.
Do your research on Smith Sr., talking it and living it are two different things exposure for over 30 years to the world that he never lived the god of the Bible some pretty atrocious things in the name of religion to make money to build his business and real estate Empire. Google scandal, people's negative feedback, controversial articles and abused by is he Mason or Masonic is he a Satanist or luciferian and do your research is he part of a One world New world order one religion Church. That applies to any of them
My family left Calvary last year due to Brain's change in the teaching and putting Char in. Really wasn't learning anything after Brian change to the progressive teaching. Went down to Greg Laurie church where my family is growing in the faith. It's sad to see the direction Calvary is going. The attendance is very small now. My wife and I got married there in 1982.
@@Psalm24-1WAEIIbringing in false doctrines affirming LGBTQ+ and eastern philosophies Chuck was very much opposed to. Things like contemplative prayer. It is demonic.
@@asking79xI heard Brian Brodersen say something that I would consider to be racist against Black people, in particular Black culture. Was he known for that?
Your grandpa baptized me and my daughter at the beach in the late 80s. ❤ I'm so glad i had his teaching and other teachers at CCCM WHEN I GOT SAVED. I heard about how he was treated and I'm sure it was heartbreaking for you... I know it was and is for me. Thank you for sharing.
So sad to hear this is happening. I attended the Calvary Chapel School of Ministry and had the opportunity to listen to Brian Broderson speak and it was clear to me that he was not the person to take over. In fact, he was rather boring and didn’t have the Lord’s annointing when he spoke. I always wanted Pastor Jon Courson to take over for my Pastor Chuck. That would have been a much wiser choice.
While I don’t find Brian “boring” (it’s ok to be boring to weed out ‘itching ears’?) I wholeheartedly agree that pastor Chuck intended Jon Courson to take over. I’d also guess that church would be packed every Sunday if he had.
Thank you for your comments, it began my adventure with Calvary Chapel in 1985 as a young man, the biblical teachings, the straight gospel and Chuck’s philosophy were what brought me to Christ! I served in Calvary Chapel at many levels with the word lighting my feet. I know who is in charge. I know who gets the glory at the end of the journey and just like the psalmist says thy word hidden in my heart then I may not send against God. pastor Chuck’s Legacy lives in countless disciples of the gospel, Always in prayer your brother
🎵The Lord lift uuuup…..🎶 His countenance….❤ oh how I miss that Sunday morning church wasn’t over, when it ended. Many left, some stayed for an afterglow time of the Spirit moving, worship, prayer, a Word, interpretation….a room filled with God’s presence and such joy. I’ve never found this again. Joyful Life study with Kay ❤❤ !!!! I ache for this in my spirit.
My kids and I Never wanted to leave; people were even polite in the parking lot ❗ It's true about trickle-down atmosphere. Haven't found anything quite like that since.
Thank you for sharing, I was just viewing a past video from your uncle Paul Smith. I will be praying for you, your family and discernment for the body of Christ. ❤
He wanted Jon Courson but Jon's eldest son was gravely ill and he wanted to stay close to him. Brian was very worldly when I heard him. Knew he was the wrong pick. Other people here say he went with the shutdown, BLM, CRT, etc 😡
Thank you for sharing the clarity of what happened at CCCM. I was saved there in 1971... and attended there fir years. Chuck Smith was an awesome pastor/teacher. I learned so much and grew in my Christian walk... thanks to Pastor Chuck. God bless you for your video.
Thank you for sharing. What happened after Pastor Chuck passed away was so sad. I met the Lord at the tail end of the Jesus People Movement in 1971 as a 17 year old. What a beautiful time in my life. Years later, I remember taking my mom to one of his services, shortly after she had become a believer. Your grandpa's sermon impacted my mom deeply. What she learned brought her great peace at the passing of her sister, shortly after. What we know is God already knew how things would turn out after your grandpa passed. God is still in control. We know God blessed the ministry there during Pastor Chuck's leadership and God's word does not return void. He is still using your grandpa's teachings and that blesses my heart. Man may be able to steal away the material things but he cannot take away what the Spirit of God has planted through the teaching of His word. I pray that God will give peace and comfort in the midst of all your family has gone through. Please receive love and hugs from this sister in the Lord 🥰
I admire your bravery. This must be very difficult and painful. But your grandparents would be so proud of you for doing what you can to bring clarity!🙏
Thank you for sharing what happened! I always wondered-but it has been pretty plain to see Brian went a different direction. I have been listening to Pastor Chuck since I got saved in 1976 and now Pastor Jack Hibbs, who deeply loved Pastor Chuck. I appreciate you sharing the truth and pray that the Lord blesses you and keeps you! ❤
At the end of the day I think the big question is “Who’s ministry is this?” I’ve always found the practice of staffing key church positions with pastor’s family to be hugely problematic, likewise father pastors leaving their pulpits to their sons. It can so easily turn from an actual ministry to each protecting their little kingdom and forgetting that the work belongs exclusively to the Lord.
Agreed. Look at what happened with Charles and Andy Stanley 😒 Just because dad was called to preach / teach, doesn't mean that the son has a similar gift.
I don't attend a Calvary Chapel church but I have listened to Greg Laurie, Jack Hibbs and Raul Ries. As believers, we can't fall under the spell of a particular pastor. We should love the Lord and his Word. Remember 1 Corinthians 3:21 and we are to use discernment when listening to men. We cannot let men distract us from the Word of God.
So glad the algorithm placed this video in my feed. I was saved in 1999 and couldn’t get enough of the teachings of your grandpa, Chuck Missler, Raul Ries, Pancho Juarez, Steve Mays, Ray Bentley, Mike Macintosh, Don McClure etc. on KWVE. When I attended my first Men’s Conference at the Anaheim Convention Center, I was in awe seeing several of those mentioned in person. In fact when Chuck Smith came out to open the conference, I was dumbstruck! (I used to belong to the Catholic religion. So for me, seeing Chuck Smith in person was like I had seen the pope!) As the conference wound down, Brian Broderson was the last speaker. When he stepped up to the podium, many men got up and started walking out. The Convention Center was nearly emptied by so many men leaving. At the time, I thought it was guys just wanting to beat the traffic. But I noticed that happened at the following conferences I attended. For some reason, seeing that really bothered me. Like many others, my wife and I were saddened to hear Chuck Smith passed away. It was also sadder to see the rift between CCCM (Brian) and other CCs. I never fully understood what was happening until I heard Brian’s stance on teaching the Book of Revelation and his plan for Big Cav. I was also shocked to hear Cheryl was also teaching on Sundays! Thank you for your message as it helps to fill in the holes of what occurred. May God bless you always. Maranatha! ✝️
Thankyou for sharing that, my parents and my siblings and my children loved chuck and his solid teaching from God's word. Now my grandchildren listen to Chuck before bed...again ty so much for clarification..God bless you
Your grandfather’s sermons are the best. As a new Christian about 15 years ago, they fed me on my daily commute to work and still do. Thanks for this clarification as I noticed Brian’s radio program where folks called in, he had some strange unbiblical outlooks, beyond the logical doubts of forbidding women to teach. Sorry your folks had to deal with this. But your grandfather’s pure teaching will long surpass the others.
I have been listening to Pastor's Perspective and still have Rick Warren (pals with Francis Collins good grief) on there promoting yikes. I also see the infiltration of globalistic ideals. Taking government monies to promote and influence uptake of certain substances and bringing on pro-poke individuals to sway the brethren to uptake poison is very immoral. I get they may have been deceived at the time but what about now? Left CCCM for these reasons and fully supporting JD Farag in Hawaii who has left this group. I hope CCCM has an spiritual epiphany soon and some repentance. Grateful to have been water baptized by Pastor Chuck. God bless Chuck and Kay.
Thank you for the update, I am a Calvary Chapel Pastor in Fla. and we have stayed the course concerning the direction and vision your grandfather stood on for many many years. I know your uncle Paul prior to your grandfathers death was trying to remove Brian or at least hoping he would move on. Unfortunately this didn't happen. I remember the lawsuit between Brian and P. Paul concerning "the word for today" I am just curious to know if the ministry is currently Brian's or your Uncle's? I have ordered products from the website and would continue to do so if it is not under your Brian. It truly was sad when the split took place between CCA and CGN, it was heartbreaking yet, at least we are now able to discern between the two groups. Your grandfathers legacy continues on till this day through so many Calvary Chapel's to which i am grateful for! Your grandfather and grandmother are truly missed and look forward to seeing them in heaven. It took courage to share this video and i thank you for it. May the Lord bless you and your family until Jesus returns.
What a blessing to hear!!! Thank you for your comment!!!I know the TWFT, inc is still run by family website PastorChuck.org,.. I will get back to you when I get answers about this… Grateful
“CC Pastor in Florida”, you trust in the traditions of men. You may be holding to the vision of Chuck, but that does not mean you know the LORD. Take heed to the deception…
Pastor Chuck's entire catalog of The Word For Today is archived on RUclips thanks to a man named Ken Zenk. It's worth listening to the last half hour or so of Joshua chapter 24. It reveals Chuck's innermost thoughts on how he knew his beloved church would end up.
Thank you for sharing. This explains the feelings I had when watching Brian on You Tube. I only watched twice but felt that something was very off and unsettling. Blessings and love.
I was a young Christian in my teens and early 20s when I would listen to Pastor Chuck on the radio and his teachings solidified my faith and encouraged me so much. And he had that distinctive voice that was so fatherly and sweet! I later went to Calvary Chapel of Oxnard and enjoyed the verse by verse teaching that is so lacking in churches today. So many professing to be a Christian and don’t even know any of the Scriptures or what the word really is or who Jesus really is they don’t know the Trinity there is no understanding of it. It’s scary really, the times that we are living in now. We can only pray. God bless you and your family for the legacy that does live on!
Thank you for sharing. I knew Brian was off when he would be on Pastors Perspective. Even when Pastor Chuck and Don Stewart were hearing is off the wall answers. Chuck and Don would have answer the question with scripture cause Brian answered with emotions most of the time as he still does today. Chuck warned about wolves in sheep clothing would come after he passed. Boy he sure got that right. Sadly, at Calvary Costa Mesa. But there are many that have stayed the course with Calvary Chapel Association. Thank all the faithful pastors that are continuing Chuck and Kay’s vision for Calvary Chapel. God is still moving in CCA in spite of the mess and confusion Brian has started. God bless them all for being faithful to the ministry. Sincerely they need our prayers.
If Pastor Chuck was so upset about what he believed would happen, why didn’t he make it known in writing what his desires were? From what I hear, he wasn’t even consistent in what he verbally told people about whether he wanted Brian to take over or not.
I appreciate you and your help with understanding, knowledge, and wisdom regarding CCCM It brought me great healing as I have my own stories that validate what you shared! I came to JESUS at CCCM 1976 and etc. GOD Bless You Sister 🙏.
I heard Brian was pastor. However, following him on social media. I would think he’s more of a travel guide. When is he at Calvary Chapel? He’s always in Europe and other places. Then when he gets home, he hast to go to Santa Barbara to relax from his European trip. Just seems to me he’s using that church as a bank. I’m happy online is Pastor Chuck verse by verse, beginning to end Bible study. It might have been recorded in the 80s. But God Words never change. I listen to it every morning.
CCCM was my church for many years, with Pastor Chuck. When Brian came in I stopped going. I didn’t really know why, just seemed I was supposed to find a different church.
People have asked me for clarity on why Calvary split and I have shared The board chose Brian and he split Calvary into two CGN vs CCA…. Your pastors will know more and please reach out to them…
I love my family and lived with both the Brodersen’s and my grandparents in my adult years and know this is a very difficult and sensitive subject. However, hopefully God will reach those who needed clarity and peace in this topic. Blessing
Eh... Howzit 🤙🏽 Vanessa…
HUGE thank you for sharing this. I grew up at CCCM as a teen and I’m indebted to your grandfather (Papa Chuck and Mama Kay) for being in the ministry. This needed to be shared and disregard all the naysayers.
Praying for the whole Smith ohana…

God bless you, your testimony moved me. Same generation....
What a wonderful testimony! God bless!
'73 here too!
We love and appreciate so many of the Calvary Chapel Pastors, Skip Heitzig, Greg Laurie, Jack Hibbs, Robert Furrow and many more that all teach like Chuck Smith taught them. . .
Your grandfather and grandma would be happy your speaking up on there behalf, in Jesus name
Note to Brian , “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But FOOLS despise wisdom and instruction.”
On point
ABSOLUTELY!
Didn't Calvary literally start because Chuck would not listen to his elders on how to setup and arrange for a service ?
Brian is a fool
God bless you Pastor!
Thank you for speaking up. I have always wondered what really happened. Oh how I miss Pastor Chuck. God really used him for His kingdom.
Nailed it Scatterg..

I watched Pastor Jack. He is a man after God‘s heart.🙏🏼
Brian's response to COVID did it for me. Chuck preached endless times about choosing God over men.
Because of Pastor Chuck Smith my son and I have nightly bible studies book by book and verse by verse with an occasional prophesy update.
Such a blessing . As a parent there is nothing greater than to see our children following the Lord. My kids are 28 and29 years old. They actually attended calvary chapel's maranatha chirstian academy through 8th grade. They feel away radically and yet through persistent prayer then are both walking with the Lord now.

I'm cry, I miss Chuc& Kay so much!
i t lives in our hearts forever ,!

@@MrGdad1998how is that blasphemy? Please explain.
@@pmarieb4083 Do you believe that anyone in the Body of Christ could rightly apply these words of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to himself?
_He must increase, but I must decrease._
(John 10:30)
* The only one who could apply these words to Himself is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ; Himself. For Smith to apply these words to himself it to make himself equal with Christ, and this is utter blasphemy. *
If C.T.
But Greg Laurie becomes a "compromiser" now too, worse than Brian now.
@@ernielim2005 Ernie, can you explain, in what way? Just asking.
I would even go as far as to say this is the biggest pillar that defines Calvary Chapels all across the world. To move away from teaching the Bible book by book is really wrong.

God bless. you for defending
Truth.
I love the Maranatha praise band ❤
As you just offered that blessing, I could hear Pastor Chuck's voice. ❤

Truly sad.
I relate to everything you said. Thank you!

I love your grandfather. He brought me so much comfort when I first came to the Lord, and still does.

Still listen today and every Sunday to Jack Hibbs CCCH. I'm in Texas and go to a wonderful church that preaches the whole council of the Lord.
Papa Chuck and expository teaching are the trademarks of CC, thanks for sharing, Pastor Chuck is dearly missed! Praise God for him
I met Chuck Smith at a Midwest Pastors Conference back in 1985. He had the most gentle human spirit I've ever encountered. He is so very missed.

I miss your grandparents too.

Wow! So sorry you had to go through that. 💔🙏🏻
It is heartbreaking to see what has happened to Pastor Chuck’s amazing teaching and to know this would be heartbreaking to him and your grandmother.
this is the Moses leadership authority mentality. But it with elders or bishops to decide...Not one man.
I went to CC Bible College in 2000, BB spoke there occasionally. I got a bad feeling from him, something was off, but couldn’t put my finger on it; your experience doesn’t surprise me.
I love Pastor Chuck Smith! I have never known any one like him.
Pastor Chris Swansen of Calvary chapel Chester springs was a great admirer and student of Chuck Smith and really knows scripture.

Let me say, I started going to CCCM in the mid seventies at the age of 15. I miss Pastor Chuck. Since Brian has taken over and the odd things that started to go on at the church, I haven’t gone back.

@@Trustnone714it is the LORD’s business
Thank you! Both my husband and I got saved under Pastor Chuck. We were so sad to see how much it changed and long time ministries shut down.

There are still many solid Calvary Chapel’s out there, but let’s lift them up in prayer:

I pray your Holy Spirit will continue to lead and guide and influence, and that you will set all of the issues straight.
Thank you for letting us know what happened.

@@scotto_123 Brian is more like a guest speaker at this time.
Your grandpa baptized me and my daughter at the beach in the late 80s. ❤
I'm so glad i had his teaching and other teachers at CCCM WHEN I GOT SAVED.
So true
While I don’t find Brian “boring” (it’s ok to be boring to weed out ‘itching ears’?) I wholeheartedly agree that pastor Chuck intended Jon Courson to take over. I’d also guess that church would be packed every Sunday if he had.
Courson has had his own issues, not a good choice unfortunately
@@wbl5649 I wasn’t aware of those issues. That breaks my heart.
Gog and Magog teaching, thats more exciting
Love the way Chuck shared with us. Listen always to him.
K-WAVE 107.9 Noticed when I went there last time, wasn't good as before.
We left CCCM and moved to Lighthouse Community Church in Costa Mesa. We are very happy there.
Amen and Amen!
Thank you for this info. I ♥️ Pastor Chuck and I go to CcChino Hills. Pastor Jack loves your dad and often speaks of him
God Bless you✝️
I had the honor of meeting your Grandpa at Applegate in Southern Oregon 2010 so grateful that I was able to shake his hand and here him personally.
Good for you to do this for your grandparents truth will always come true😢
Could you do a video on what exactly there teaching that Chuck would of disagree with, plus who he wanted to succeed him.
Your grandfather was a mighty teacher of faith.
Thank you for sharing. My dad was a pastor and graduated with Chuck and Jack Hayford from Life Bible College. Your Grandpa was a great man.
So for me, seeing Chuck Smith in person was like I had seen the pope!)
As the conference wound down, Brian Broderson was the last speaker.
Maranatha! ✝️
@@dt81819 Chuck Smith didn’t die. He just moved 😁
Thanks for your testimony.
Right? Me too! Thank you Lord! He has power over the algorithms!!!
Wow, people recognized it early on, that’s good to hear!

I will get back to you when I get answers about this…
Grateful
I guess he told that he Will be out January/2025 (stepping out). And he already choose his son as senior pastor.

Pastorchuck.org is still gramps family …
I appreciate you and your help with understanding, knowledge, and wisdom regarding CCCM
It brought me great healing as I have my own stories that validate what you shared!
