My husband and I both loved this song very much. The meaning goes very deep. Three weeks ago he passed into the arms of Jesus and this was sung at his memorial service.

Remember that whatever happens in your life, a tough decision, a broken bone, a bad break up, a bad grade, a divorce, or what ever is goin' on in your life, big or small, God is using it to shape you to the person He wants you to be and gives you the perfect tools for the job. Ours too! First time I heard this song it made me pull the car over and cry. My first engagement ended with him cheating, and I heard this not long after and just knew I still had someone waiting for me. Almost ten years later... I'm married to someone much much better and very happy.
I know most people think of their significant other when they hear this song. For me, I think of the people I now call Mama and Papa. After years of trauma and feeling so alone in this world, I have finally found parents who love me as I am. Parents who support me. After trying to find them for so long, I've realized that God blessed the broken road that led me to them :)

THEN WHY DID GOD MAKE ME HAVE 5 BABIES,AND LET 3 OF THEM DIE WITH CYSTIC FIBROSIS?THE TRIALS OF JOB???ive surpassed him.last year,on march 4 2018,my husband of 18 years died of small cell carcenoma.in mat 2018 my sons fiance died one month b4 the wedding,then in october,my brother dies in his own house burnt to a crisp?just when i think i can put it,in gods hands,my ex husband died on march 2 2019.if that wasnt enough,i my brother of 58 years and 20 days dies in a horrible one car death,with a drunk drinking since 6 am,till 6.16 pm.my brother tim,was in his vehicle,not drunk.and the vodka drunk got cut out of his tahoe,and airvaced to grady.my brother?he died on the road,withthe tahoe flipping over and over again onto his body.his eyes were in the hwy,his head was not attached,not recognizable,and he was in parts,everywhere..and this drunk wants to sue us?not in my lifetime,which will be short.i must make it to court,for my brother,and come face to face to this drunk in the courtroom.did u ever see a time to kill?

We all have our breakdown one way or the other but God is always there.... Broken or not, Jesus says "come just as you are" guys, He'll just hold our hands, He understand. And yet, God is leading us on his goodness because 'God is good and he does good...(see psalm 119 v 68) Its all part of His grander plan!!! Selah! Amen!!!

But he is the kindest, most generous, selfless, loving man I've ever known. I am beyond blessed to be loved by him. I chose this song to play for our first dance because he and I both, him more so than I, have trekked a long, hard, rocky path that guided us straight into each other's lives. This song reminds me of my college days as a working student. Life is hard. I thought I couldn't make it. Every day seemed blurred and there were a lot of mountains to climb on. When I was down and I felt like I couldn't go on anymore, I would sing this song again and again. Here I am now, a living witness to how God blessed His children who have faith and trust in Him. I am now working as a government official and living a life I couldn't imagine I would. Oh, how I will never forget His goodness and I will praise Him forever and ever for that.
If someone reads this post, please believe in Him. God can do marvelous things we couldn't imagine from a human perspective. He loves you and He will bless you. You just need to give yourself to Him. This made me realize that humans fail us, but God's love is so perfect that it will always accept us no matter what happens.
I first heard this while driving, and I almost had to pull over because I fought with everything I had to not break down in tears. I could feel Him sitting right next to me. I could hear Him telling me that He knows the road I have been on. And He knows that it was indeed very broken. But He said to rejoice, for it led me to Him.

God blessed me when he gave me my husband. He is an awesome, compassionate, genuine man. I could not have been given a better gift. I will treasure him for a lifetime.

Get into the habit of praising Him everyday. There are songs for us that help us through tough times and encourage us. Use them to help yourself and others. Share songs with others - the really do work. 😇❤️

I constantly struggle with faith. I question too much. But I've always believed that, if ever I will crossover to the "good" side, it will be a good gospel song that will be holding my hand. God knows I wish to believe; to find comfort despite a rather chaotic world around me. What I'd give to believe like that; to acknowledge the knife constantly in my gut but keep going. Believing that, no matter what, it's all just fine. God, to believe like that!! I don't need it for some heaven after death. No. Just enough to survive this life and face my death with courage, which I so look forward to.
