- Today I'm back and thrifting in a small town in Florida searching for some great vintage deals. It was pretty hard to find the deals however. I did manage to get a few glass pieces though!

No, Those are not decals. They are original. When the glass comes in contact with moisture/water the clothes disappear and reappear as they dry. Peek-a-Boo bar glasses.
My grandpa (and many other silent generation gentlemen) had these in their home bars. Very common items for them to collect after the war.

Micanopy is a neat place. I stayed overnight in the mansion a few years back and all night long it sounded like furniture moving around upstairs so I asked the owner who was staying up there and she said "no one" 😲😲.....That fish fairy lamp is really pretty. I wonder how it looks lit.

Read up on essential oils and dogs in the same space just to be on the safe side. Some of those oils in the air can be fatal for dogs.

I struggle with wanting all the things because I like so many styles, but not all are things I actually want to decorate with. Deciding if its something I want to decorate with is the hard part 😅

I have several of these birds some of mine are planters. I have cardinals .bluejay and parrots and the cockitoo's., They have silver/gold labels "Remco" possibly inside the planter part. My uncle had a few he got in early 70's and I picked others up at flea market for about 5 bucks.

At 5:27 you're talking about a green cased glass "planter" (it's actually a vase). The designer is P O Ström at Alsterfors glass works in Sweden. It's from the 70s and super popular right now over here in Sweden. His items go for really good prices.
Most sedans, the back seats fold into the car. Then you can fit things from the trunk into the back seat. My daughter just discovered this with her Toyota. 😊

I love the ashtray. Those glasses are so cute and knotty. That painting is a great idea but I could paint that and any cool scene. Just paint it on a finish plywood.
I love orange no matter what time of year it is. My favorite color is aqua, which unfortunately here in South Florida can make me look like a Dolfan if I mix the two.
I love Jeffery But I don’t like keeping certain colors for certain holidays or seasons-- even though it makes sense , I find it way too limiting. I have Christmas all year and I kind of integrate my other joyful art pieces throughout the year. I Like turning the tree lights on whenever I have time to really enjoy them. And that’s usually in Spring , Summer and Fall.
That bird is not a cockatiel. It is a cockatoo.

WAY overpriced everything! I used to live in Gainesville in the 1980s and go here all the time. This place is taking advantage of people. I am in Pensacola now and get my best antiques at garage sales. Our stores are cheaper here too.
I love the standing chef man….would have loved to have known price on that! Like I would travel from WV for it….NOT! LOL 😳 Was just curious….anyway I have been watching your videos for many months now…have almost purchased a few items on Fri nights too, but I must have good taste…someone else wants it also. I’ve been watching your videos for a very long time. I enjoy shopping with you. I noticed your house is going modern , I think. And for you that’s a good thing. I love that you changed the pink wall to white even though, I liked the pink wall. It was shocking but interesting. The white however is richer to me. The outside colors are great too. You certainly are developing your sense of style.

Seriously??? That stuff is way overpriced and overrated. I used to antique shop in Dade City Fla, sometimes prices were great, sometimes not. Now I shop in Macon Ga and for the most part it’s reasonable. But then I have champagne taste on a beer budget. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work❤️

Micanopy markets itself as an “old Florida” town, and caters to tourists and snowbirds. The shops are not priced for resellers at all. You might be better off going down the road to Waldo, FL, and also going to charity thrift shops like Hospice shops, Humane Society shops, and other shops not selling retail.
after you do all that shopping for so long you get where you can actually decide quickly or not if you really do need something so you're getting very good at that that's very good cuz you're not going to be spending money that you really shouldn't be spending🤑🤑

I had great luck at the Columbus Antique Mall and School Days Antique Mall. Found interesting items and decent prices at both.

Jeffrey seems to me that a lot of those decor items etc. are overpriced. If I were you I would try the thrift shops and second hand stores for those type of things. Your dollars would go a long way in those places. I have found nicer furniture than some of those pieces you showed in your video believe it or not.
