Right then! In this video I try and explain my racing line and braking points to help you improve your lap times! I'm not perfect but hopefully some of my tips can help you!

FYI in Turn 3, you can use much more of the track on the left side on the way in which helps you keep steering angle to a minimum and carry more speed on entry. Just keep in touch with the red and white kerbs.
Yeah it is a fair point, opening the corner will help, but the amount of time I have spun in that corner is was scared 😂😂
Little Wings last season with the Lotus, F4 and Vee was a blast around here
Yeah I missed that one 😢😢 hoping for some good racing!
Really missed that combo this week 13, running the Vee in VR and being overtaken by battling Lotus 79s was something else.
Raced the f4 on this track during week 13 last season. It's good fun!

Probably because I am new but learning this track has been a doozy for me... any tips for when you are learning tracks for the first time? Feel like that is my biggest struggle since I picked up sim racing recently
I might make a video on this, but the most important thing is to start slow.... Really slow really slow. Turn on the racing line on in the options and follow the line at like 50mph max.
As the line turns red stop the car and look around, look for braking marks and turn in points. Do a few laps until you know the track. Turn off the racing line and drive the track slow again, do this until you are completing clean laps.
Now you should "known the track" and you can start focusing on finding speed! This can be done by pushing you markers later and carrying speed until you can complete the corner any longer. It's good if you open a test session and turn off car damage this will make learning a little easier.

i hate this track so much, i lock up everywhere!
Have a check on brake bias, I normally run 56.5% maybe even 55% if you're locking the fronts 👍
@@Tdi99 Im very new to iracing, and when i looked for the brake bias i couldnt find it, however i was in a rush so maybe i didnt notice it. Is it under a different name other than "brake bias". And btw, can you still change brake bias in the fixed series?
Sorry for the delay! Yes you csn still change the bias in a fixed series, in some cars (like the IR04) you can change it while you drive, mid race 👍
