I liked the Leon part of 6 but the Chris and Jake felt kind of... Like a mediocre cover shooter? Idk, that was only my first impression, I don't know how I would feel about it now.
I 2nd this. I don't do FPS games or horror movies. Yet the plot of this series is one I've loved for ages. Its surprising with its complexity and how it's still so interwoven. Despite years and different directions that should have caused the series to fracture and break.
@@justarandomguyonyoutube6554 But you have no problem with code veronica where Alexia Emitting flames nd Wesker doing Maxtrix moves. Lmao Re 4 also has an Alien, Napoleon and Golem.
Resident Evil will always be fascinating! I think the G-virus will remain the most terrifying virus in the RE series, to me at least. As far as suggestions go: I wouldn't mind in-depth breakdowns of the different RE games, the lore and whatnot. Maybe even live-action or animated movies. I've also been in a big AI, evil-robot kinda mood lately; maybe a look into characters like Ultron across different media? Animated movies/tv shows, as well as his appearance and differences in the second Avengers movie
Tht was the idea : it was supposed to embody the chaos (hence the name) tht comes from makin bioweapons, but it's most terrfying ability tht was never showcased, thank God,but explained in files is The ability to self divide infinitely, meanin had it reached the surface, would have split itself endlessly, till the world is nothin more thn zombies and a colony of HAOS creatures, each one impossible to destroy, basically procreation/immortality on a whole other level
Love RE 6. The C-virus is so cool. Notice how there's almost always a self destruct at the end of each game? Wonder if they got that idea from the first two Alien films. I wish they would make a RE movie that has the tone and horror of the first Alien. You have the creature, the devious company. Funny that. The C-virus was the most usable as a weapon I think, with G being the most impractical. G is probably my favorite.
Yes, I love the original C-Virus. Resident Evil 6 is one of my favorites, definitely a classic. I love how the bugs group together to mimic human form. Can you imagine how freaky that would be? The Carla Spore clones would be pretty scary too. 🐝👤,🍄🧟♀️👥💀, 😳
Definitely, Jake and Sherry's storyline is one of my favorites out of all the storylines of resident evil and it's characters. Their story comes full circle after 20 years, they actually get closure and it's a happy ending for them. It's a beautiful story. Then Pierce's ending was Gangsta but sad. I liked his story too. They did alright with pretty much everyone. However, the only one I don't care for is Helena. I don't like her as a character or her story. She just seems like a extra just cause. She's just Meh😒
I think my preferred Resident Evil Virus is either T or G. They were the original that the backbone of the series was built upon. And most other viruses; excluding Las Plagas, are either a restructuring of these 2 viruses or combined with them in some way. Almost makes me wish there was a videogame where you could play out the last few days of Raccoon City prior to the virus going into full swing. We always see the aftermath when things are in full swing. We never see the start. We don't see if a lot of Raccoon City's population succumbed within a matter of hours, or if it started with one person and just expanded exponentially from there.
It happens so fast Tis the reason it was only a bit of it in 2 and 3. Pretty sure it was things such as in the scenes of 2 there’s a long timeline between when Birkin is assaulted and the spread of the virus everywhere else. However it’s kind of wonky… might of been more from the things leaving the forest eventually making their way and spreading the infection near water sources and food sources. Which makes a little sense because water sources and things like food are kept farther away from the home of us. I love the T-Abyss virus. Nothing screams oh shit quite like a giant whale with crazy shit flipping around. Small fish going bananas like steroid piranhas.
I certainly wouldn't mind seeing this. Especially if there was a 2nd video comparing Comic Lucifer to TV Lucifer. Since I assume their powers and abilities differ somewhat. Or if some just are outright ignored.
I’m happy that you mention Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire, it’s a great manga I wish the bring resident evil - heavenly island to the English speaking countries in the world. I love your videos and stay safe and can you talk more about Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire please and thank you
I have played Resident Evil 6 a good number of times. And though I have all the files depicting what happened, I didn’t know a lot of things your video pointed out. So I got new information which is awesome! Thank you for that! My favorite of all the viruses is the T Virus from when I played the original 1997 Resident Evil on PC. It was new and refreshing. But the C virus did something the T virus never did: to allow the creatures to continue to mutate time and time again. This made for a more terrifying experience when fighting creatures like Simmons at the end of the Leon S. Kennedy campaign. And even though it didn’t morph much, the massive creature at the end of the Chris Redfield campaign was enough for me to feel terrified as it tried to kill me when it first spawned. It is a great game that I think was underrated because of the majority of fans wanting a slower game that focused more on survival horror and less on action. Though I did enjoy the original Resident Evil 1 and 2, I think the franchise needed to evolve which it did. Two games that managed to get back to survival horror while keeping it fresh were Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Revelations 2. And the viruses in those game were also terrifying, specially the one in Resident Evil Revelations 2.
I liked playing RE:6, I remember that the Rasklapanje (Dismantler in Serbian I think) was the enemy I thought was the coolest and most terrifying to me. I remember I failed the QTE and it gave Ada a nasty kiss pretty much and when it killed her another one popped out of her like a Xenomorph and it made a horrible sound of life demonic newborn. Gave younger me nightmares for a bit.
I always thought the stuff that came into RE after number 3 were all better fitting to their own universe (or even the Guyver universe) rather than the RE one.
If you play RE: 8 you’ll know that the only reason the rest of these viruses exist is because of the Cadou and Megamecyte found at the end of VIILAGE, from a story POV 8 connects everything that happened before.
6:26 Actually the Marhawa Desires proved that bites do not transmit the virus to another victim. Only the gas does. Meaning the bites sustained during Resident Evil 6 gameplay are one of the few instances where gameplay damage is canonised. Just correcting you there.
Man I remember playing this every night with the homie till we finished it on hardest difficulty. We aren't fans of RE but we had so much fun playing this Co-Op
I would LOVE to see you go into the Drakengard/Nier series. It goes from magic and dragons to androids and aliens yet still keeps itself tied together albeit very loosely. Not to mention the rather sizable range of monsters, "deities", and lore not only in the games but a host of books, manga, and even stage plays.
The lore problem with RE6 is that it retcons the events of Raccoon City by saying people didn't know Umbrella was behind the zombie outbreak there. That doesn't make sense because in Code Veronica, RE4, and RE5 it is explained that the government pulled their funds from Umbrella after the city was nuked and the company went bankrupt and disbanded.
The "RC truth" is actually the true involvement of the US government in umbrella affairs since the company's inception, basically the public knowledge is umbrella did all the wrong by themselves but the real truth is the gov is just as guilty as umbrella,a truth thts NOT public knowledge,it's why they keep leon close, cause he's one of the ppl who know too much
Fucking awesome, if there was anything good about RE6, it definitely were the creature designs. How about you make some video about Netflix's "Sweet Home"?
I like how the RE series always tries to be more than just zombies like the entire series is just about bioterrorism or other times just survival horror or horror action rather than just a post-apocalyptic game
Understanding what I do now about things transforming and putting off heat. It bothers me that the tyrant variance don't put off a bunch of steam from the heat they would create mutating so rapidly. Plus I think it would look cooler too. Part of the reason I bring it up is there's a science fiction writer who tries to make everything realistic. I believe he said the energy output was something like a small nuke going off every time they transform. Edit: TLDR if zombies bodies mutated this rapidly they would be putting out heating along with steam. So I think that needs to be incorporated in to the games.

I just want to put this out here for no reason the first resident evil game i played was resident evil 6 :P
