This band has been a daily listen since The Current Will Carry Us. I knew these dudes would do nothing less than succeed... But every album has been better than anything I could imagine and this one? This is THE album from them.
This and Imprints are the best songs on the record. Easily.

@Science Fiction It's a rock solid album, agreed. It just doesn't evoke the emotions in me like this album does. Although, I have a feeling the new Cattle Decap might give this a run for it's money from a musicianship standpoint.
Honestly, going down my list of albums, Soilwork was actually my favorite. Not a single weak moment. So consistent. Wasn't expecting that so early into the year.
@Science Fiction I need to listen to the album more. Definitely enjoyed the singles. I just get bored with deathcore very easily.
@Orb Plant Still can't get into KK for the life of me. Always preferred the metalcore side of most of these bands and KL definitely satisfies me for that. Been obsessed with the new Norma Jean album though.
This album brings them back to the actual counterparts they truly are. Go back to the start it was so melodic and technical and had sooooo much true meaning with lyrics and no joke this reminds me of the first two albums. Fuck yes this is truly a blessing to listen to. Counterparts forever and always it holds a place in my heart.

I’m sorry, what? This sounds like You’re Not You Anymore. Not that that’s a bad thing, that was my favorite album of 2017.

It’s 1:26am, the past 5 months have been hell after breaking up with my ex of nearly half a decade(most of our adult life), I loved her with all my heart, but having mental problems and addictions costed my most prized sense of life and last night has been one of those nights where the mental hell nearly and absolutely tore me apart… and 20 minutes ago my Mom calls me at around 1:00am saying my sister is in the hospital ready to have my nephew, my first nephew. Now my hopes have been so fucking lifted, and I cannot ever have him feel the dark pain I’ve gone through, and should he I will always be there. I was listening to this song on repeat hours ago in the car and just had to come back and say this. I do not believe in a higher power, but this sure was an alignment and slap in the face to wake the fuck up.
Gives me the same vibes as for the fallen dreams but with its own twist, really digging this band!
