I’m interested to understand if you need a licence/what experience you had with motorbikes before travelling and if you’ve faced any issues with onward travel out of any countries.
Really liked the drone shots, I’m inspired to get one now for when I go travelling. How did you make sure no one took the mopeds when you went on the beach?

Was it a police checkpoint the other way you didn’t go? If so is it because they will try and fine you? Headed there in July and haven’t rented a scooter over there before any tips?
So yeah it’s a police checkpoint, and it’s all a bit of scam they make you pay 250 Baht and will find any excuse for you to pay, but as far as I know this only happens in Phuket!

Aw thank you so much, a drone is a great way of capturing the landscape! I took the key of the moped and locked the front wheel.
It’s very very u likely to be stolen anyway as they are everywhere in Thailand
