Power Button Shutdown/Sleep Settings Not Working On Windows 10 FIX

How to fix power button not Working on Windows 10 as expected.

I have the settings right for shutting down with power button.. But nothing is happening when pressed

with that setting on, it is expected that that setting works. in my case; the setting is on sleep for all options (plugged, unplugged), but the button does nothing. power button works perfectly to turn on pc, but not at all while its on. came here for fix, not explanation.

Same and if I try shutting down with windows take about 2 minutes fore it to go to the shutting down screen

I got a new bios update today and my button quit working. Power options did not come up either. So I had to do this:
1. Type power plan in the search.
2. Click edit power plan.
3. Click change advanced power settings.
4. Scroll down to power buttons (not sure why it is plural) and lid. You can change it there.

Choose what the power buttons do and it refuse to sleep or shutdown after what ever min i set. only screen off is working sometimes, this problems come and goes on my pc however now it wont let me even turn it off after win update last weeks, when i press the power button it dont
then also, and i must shutdown from win 10, this has been a problem in periods , and now its totally refuse , i did reset default and set to slepp 10 min and save changes and it doers NOTHING, why7 cant i find vid about this, i mean to set it to sleep is so easy. when it does not work, then its getting harderl xD power buttons works fine to start the pc LOL

ok but my start menu won't pop up, the search bar disappeared when I tried to type in it, half of my programs won't launch, and when I try to open settings it says "System call failed" I think I broke it for good
Edit: nvm ctrl+alt+delete did the trick lol
