Nice. I’d ditch those wheels though.
Agreed! Those look terrible on any car
Slap some older style rims & hell yeah! Great ass car
Yep one pot hole and wheel and tire are toast , not practical. Cragers or old school centerlines with meat !!
@@bullbutter9699 I had a Veloster with the low profile tires. Hit a pothole and the tire blew out. Fortunately, it didn't take the rim too. That little can of air in the trunk wasn't going to do me any good!
Put them back on the 4x4 they came off 🤮
Yeah, some higher gear, the engine need some tuning and a few other things and it will be a sweet ride... The camera under shows its been quite rusted out...
She looks good from afar but she is a crusty bondo queen. Only one pass underneath because those floorpans! Its hard not to love her though because '66 was an awesome year!
Great body style and the color is good. Definitely a project car that'll take about $20k to make it local car show quality. Someone tried to show it some love but got overwhelmed or didn't have much money.
I love your comment, for you are right in many ways for many of them that do not have the money in order to do it right. I have been a car evaluator for many years and you were kind in your words. For most people do not understand, besides of what they see. Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC.
I look forward to the weekends so that I can drive my cars and Nick does it for a living. Lucky dog! At the same time, his videos are top notch and the most enjoyable drive videos on the internet. I probably couldn’t do that lol. I’m probably FAR from alone when I say that turning on these videos feels like getting into a car with an old friend. Thanks Nick!
Ought'a be a law about putting low-profile tires/rims on Classics.
Rally wheels and white letter tires.
For I see that someone special had to give her up, in order to take care of his family. For this was his pride and joy. For I see the price is right for this Impala. For she is right, gust like the person that put her together. Semper Fidelis to his family, for I see that is needed.
Console was out of a Caprice. The badging at the rear end of it and the wood grain finish are tell tales. The console lid is brushed aluminum like it should be. Though the wood grain & aluminum finish is a mish mash. If you want to fly me down from Canada West Coast I'll inspect the 65/66's Impalas for you. lol
Brings back memories for me. My Dad had this same car in white with a 327ci and 3 on the tree. I stood on the hump between the front seats, nothing holding me. Those were the days. Nice car.
You don't see any of these old 66 Impala SS with a 396 and a 4 speed anymore, this won't last long at all 👍 Nick sweet ride 🔥
True dat. I looked and waited for 30 years for my '68 Impala SS fastback, 327 4-speed w/buckets and console. Still have the original 327 and Saginaw transmission, but it has a 388 stroker using a 302DZ 4 bolt block from a 69 302 Camaro, and now sports an M-20 Muncie.
Did anybody notice underneath the car, on the left side it looks like they cut out some rusted pieces and put some other metal in. That's some Wicked color thou, also I love that year. Also I forgot the PCV valve was laying on the side wasn't stuck in the valve cover.
It’s an older car, not everything in the car will work like new. Just enjoy and drive
Exactly , thank you!
Really neat car! Nothing like a big block with a 4-speed. Also love the sound of those old style chambered mufflers!
This is a beautiful 66! Reminds me of a car my Grandfather had, a 66 Caprice with a 427 and a 4-speed. Beast of a car!
Great Job again Nick! To everyone, flaws as usually! IT'S 58 Years old! Beautiful car! Great price! If you looking for something that you don't have to fix and you want a show boat, prepare to spend $125,000 give or take!! I being conservative at that price. Thanks Nick.
Why didn’t you reinstall the PCV back into the valve cover???
That is a first for me. Custom homemade muffler. A piece of pipe and smacked with a ball peen hammer.
You are looking at chambered mufflers. The outer shell is crimped onto an inner pipe with perforations creating separate chambers, its far from homemade.
Had a 65 Impala SS Canary Yellow and in 1972 had it painted this exact color! It was a runner and with this color it was extremely popular!
Sweet ride. Great condition for a driver. Don't have to worry about every little thing like a trailer queen but enough to tinker with and make nicer as you drive it too. Just right for a toy to enjoy.
There was a guy in Skokie Illinois who had that exact car back in the seventies. it was gorgeous, fast, and the envy of the guys.
What a beautiful car! My mom had one just like that when I was about six yrs. old. She’s sweet! What color is that? It looks orange in your video but kinda red? After watching your video you said it’s orange so thanks! I was very interested but after your video it’s a little rougher then I would like. Still looking at 55 Chevys!!!
They don't get any better than this absolutely beautiful very well cared for ultimately worthy as a prime contender for a true classic
The PCV valve is not plugged in creating a vacuam leak. Nice project car for the price.
That steering wheel is sexy. I can fix everything except find that steering wheel. I love 66 Impalas.
Nick !! You and your 👁️👅✋ guys are the best ☺️😘 sports ☺️😘❤ 🚗🚨 dealership in ( Hendersonville ) !!!! Big 💜 shout-out to you all******
Classic style 👍you cant beat the 66 / 67 Chevelle / Impala
True. Except for a 65 lol
Yes that is true ! 65 -67
I love 66 impala, Biscayne, belair cars. I used to have 2 66 Biscayne's 2 DR AND 4 DR
This is one of my favorite 65-70s cars
At the end when you said, you were going home, it's the weekend for you, I thought; when you drive classic cars around for a living, every day is the weekend! :)
You are right!
Didn't get the front undercarriage view but it's a damn great looking ride, I'd hop on it.
How do you get that stance? Air shocks in the rear? How about the front?
You almost caught up to that civic on the highway. Nice car. I would change the stance and wheels and rubber.
Fine car. Can't beat a 396. You should speak with whoever prices the vehicles and not sell a car that the safety equipment doesn't work, i.e., windshield wipers, horn, turn signals. Should deduct 5k from the price for the sloppy dash work, no windshield wipers, and the patch work on the undercarriage. All in all. This is one that I would like to own. And finish up.
I have 68 Bonneville wannabe impala I love these cars
1966 IMPALA COUPE LAST OWNER HAD CUSTOM BODY WORK PAINT INTERIOR DECENT JUST NEED PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT ON DASHBOARD UPGRADED TURN SIGNALS SPEEDOMETER ALONG WITH NEW CLUTCH AND GEAR BOX SPEND A FEW THOUSANDS AND ITS WORTH THE EFFORT TO DRIVING THE 396 ENGINE
Could benefit from a good exhaust system.
Nice ride! A high school friend won beaucoup trophies with his white 396 4 speed SS Impale at York US30. The white specs are from a bird with explosive diarrhea. Don't pick your nose. LOL
🏆Awesome 396 4-speed 🍀get R done 😎✌️
Church of Christ/ Muscle Car testing area. Ya know, I think the Man upstairs would be ok with that.
Wow, whoever welded the trunk in needs to go to welding school. If A mig welder was used, it should be almost flat, and a arc welder, if used properly should not be like a rope. It wasn't hot enough for penatration of metal. Exhaust has cheap glass pack mufflers, once the insulation burns out, you get the popping sound. It's a driver, for 30k. Bondo, ? You never know how much, until you start to redo Bodywork, it's usually more than you expect.! That's the chance you take on a 57 year old car.
Looks like it needs a GearVendors overdrive.
Beautiful ride. It will sell fast
Nice ride had a 65 4 speed straight axel gasser style street strip car. Fun car this car should be fun.
Nice paint but they should've did a better job with the body work & filler part's. Pretty much a project car to get it perfect.
Wheels are not centered in the wheel wells!!
Looking good nice color clean. Big 10.
Thanks 👍
That is one of my all time favorites 😍
Great Looking 66 Impala Nick !
That is a keeper very nice automobile is a classic 👍
I want a 1967 one
It should be illegal to sell any car without wipers, turn signals, headlights and horn.
You don't need any of those if you only drive on bright sunny days! Just stick your arm out the window for your turn signals.
Too many cars would get junked if they made a law that all cars needed a saftey inspection before sale. Resellers need to make a profit. All that stuff the buyer can do or pay to have done. If your getting into classic cars though, you really should first know how to fix these things, or be prepared to learn....... because there's often a LOT of needed haha
Well it’s not and these cars are 50 plus years old. I’m not about to even try to fix 60 cars a month
You probably shouldn’t be buying classic cars.
Beautiful ride, Nick. She sounds great. Love these videos.
Very beautiful amazing car thanks Nick have a very nice day mate
I absolutely love this car Nick. I'm still saving greenbacks to come see you and purchase something like that.
Needs 15" Cragar SS or American Racing Torque Thrust in grey, and 60 or 70 series tires.
Nice looking ride 👌
nice one ! she will sell fast !
Good one to own. Improve it as you drive it month on month.
Classic.
Was hoping for a nicer interior. But I love the mid 60s impala
Good looking 66 ❤
Love your music Nick
Thank you
That sounds great

An absolutely gorgeous car that sounds as good as it looks.
It sounds fantastic but i like to go a lot faster than 55 at the same time it would be a blast for stunting around in town
Gourgeus car must be the ghost of Elvis Presley drivning around in this car 🤟 😎 cool car thanks Nick stay cool great video 📹
Thanks for watching!
V 8 ❤
Those are called neighbor hater mufflers.
How. do you get finance
You can find financing information on the website www.maplemotors.com
👍💯😎💯👍
I believe the old horn my work on that one ??
we wanna see u put gas init
I'm sorry I meant rod run
I know ya'll base price on profit margin according to condition that's we go to roadrunner to get a ballpark price on other cars that is what I do too
C’mon horn🤞🏻
Take those DAMN wheels and tires off and put some 15" Cragar SS wheels and decent tires on it, then you have something.
Why don't you show the undercarriage?
Those wheels ruin it
The only thing uglier than Boyd wheels are Foose wheels. I guess because Chip designed most of Boyd's wheels. 😁
This car needs some body/paint work but if it didn't it would be a $60K car.
Not perfect but it will be gone quick.
Wheels look horrible !
Nice ride Nick. But I like those Delta 40, Flowmaster Mufflers, will any hot rod sound Crisp!🏁💯
eye candy this car is gorgeous
It be perfect in my eyes if it had Crager, SS mags and white interior
Nice car
