There is no substitute for quality and integrity. It is as inspirational as it is rare and I believe that's why more than half a million people follow Chris's channel.
All organically without sponsors or merch is another level of not only workmanship, skill, personality absolutely well earned top of all nandi already stated 👍 we appreciate you very much Sir.
I love that you don't phone it in. The fact that you use the Ruckus Rake to prepare the soil for seed, then you're going to drill the seed in, is a measure of your dedication to finishing a project like you'd want your own project completed. It's fun watching you in that big ol' kitty cat and I love watching your expertise. Thanks, Chris.
That pond really does "sit" in its location very nicely. It blends with the slopes and the area perfectly. Once it is full, and the grass comes up it will look like it was "always there"...which seems to be a trademark of your work. Well done.
You have done another incredible project Chris, especially working alone many days. You are inspiring, not too many people with the integrity that you have. Very well done sir.
If I ever need this type of heavy equipment work done. I'm going to hire Chris because I like how Chris goes the extra mile in his quality of work. Great series of videos for this project Chris. It's amazing how a month or two can change the landscape into someone's American Dream.
Well, if there was anyone who questioned Chris buying the 330 and/or the D7 they should be straight on that now. This has to be one of the fastest stump and debris clearing and pond builds Chris has done. Even taking into account it's small one acre size it went pretty fast.
I’m amazed at the power of your D7! As a youngster in the 50’s my builder, developer father had a D6 and a 955 loader! Your 7 has a lot more backbone than the D6!!! It brings back fond memories watching you operate your vintage equipment! He also had a Bucyrus Erie 15B set up as a backhoe! Keep these videos coming! Thanks
It may have something to do with a 75 year old memory, but I do think that D7 gets more done (of course there is all the hydraulics vs the old cable blade) than the WWII Army surplus that built the Alcan Highway during the war. We had one of those old RD-8 cable blade Cats on our homestead in Alaska during the late 1940s and through the '50s. That with a couple of similar aged Duece & a Half trucks got the job done. I've been watch Chris's video for a couple of years now and they're all informative and entertaining! Thanks for all that work (and the videos!! 😂
Yes Sir !! That turned out really nice Chris !! I like the deeper ones you do, I like watching you take that finish dozer on those slopes !! lololol... It all finished out nice too, everything really slicked up nice, and the pad turned out nice as well !! Great work as always Chris...Have a Great Saturday Night Man !! And, On too the Next !!
Pond is in good shape, maybe the rain will start filling it. I would say so far TweeD7bird is pushing dirt as well as Wilma and Ol` Betty or better. I hope everyone sees the 'attention to detail' you do on your jobs.
I want to see it when it fills up . I realize it's the camera but the over flow side looks higher - that's an impressive wall of dirt . Turned out nice , a lot bigger than what I had thought .
Some progress is better than no progress on rain days. The D7 is going to be a game changer on bigger jobs. Your comparison and mentioning bucket differences really shows itself when you were digging the overflow in, you would be a day just loading the haul truck with that bucket. Thanks for the update sir.
Another beautiful pond build. When you first start I am often confused on how pond dam is going to lay out and and where the pond boundary actually is . As progress is made it is really cool to watch everything take shape. It looks awesome.
I am always amazed how supportive and how much weight freshly excavated and fluffed soil can hold. Every time you climb onto the fresh piles I am amazing.
That's going to be one very proud property owner once the pond is filled and the grass has grown in. A nice little fishing hole he can spend lazy afternoons fishin' with a 6 pack in a cooler chilled and ready plus some munchies. As usual Chris did his usual extremely high quality work clearing and building it and the building pad area. Nice to know the property owner is going to replant new trees on part of it. I hope it's a nice mix of money trees. Both soft and hard wood trees. 10 to twenty years in the future selective cutting cash crop.
Plenty of creativity in this job. Finding good dirt to replace the bad stuff. Then making the bad stuff look good. Darn we did not get to see how Chris handled the dirt compactor.
Every time we watch you lay pipes, it reminds us of the time when you and John were employed it fix someone else mistake. As they had laid those huge concrete pipes in back to front. Digging each of the pipes up than turn them around, reseal each join and cover them up again. And that wasn’t a small job.
Apart from the wiz around with the ruckus rake it sure turned out dandy bro and the D7 showed it is good at packing down the dirt too. Safe travels. Ken.
It looks Purdy… that D7 sure pushes the big piles with ease.. unless my ears deceive me.. it almost seems a bit quieter than the D6 too.. (which is no slouch of a dozer either).. too bad we probably won’t be able to see it full of water… but not every customer is like Bealy and keeps you coming back for more… (Have you moved in there yet?)
Consider using the right blade corner to side cut dirt, or switch the blade tilt cylinder and hoses to the other side, You gonna fuck up the chrome if you do that regularly
I think for the D7 I would talk to a canvas guy and have him make up some clear snap on panels . Will keep you out of the rain , wind , and help keep some heat in .
Thanks for this Video Chris. It's to show Your great Planing is. Alike what the Work Planing ( a Defekt by a Machine or a Weather Tumble) You have always a Plan B and can the Work Pursuit! Thanks that we can Your Work life always to Experience.
It seemed a little cold and wet out there Chris and in the warmer months it isn't fun picking bugs out of your teeth in the heat. I'm sure you know they did make D7Fs with fully enclosed cabs. In some scrap yard, some where in America there is one with a cab you could remove and restore. Adding air con and heat wouldn't be too difficult. There are lots of aftermarket solutions. I bet if anyone could find a cab, it would be Clinton or he could fab one.

Chris, "Miss Kitty" seems to be a nice addition to the fleet, plenty of power without being overwhelming !!
Seat of your pants and listening to the machine.
That D7 was the MVP of this pond, for sure - just a great piece of machinery! 👍
That pond really does "sit" in its location very nicely. It blends with the slopes and the area perfectly. Once it is full, and the grass comes up it will look like it was "always there"...which seems to be a trademark of your work. Well done.
I enjoy the pride you take in your projects and care for your equipment. God Bless Chris.
Master Pond Builder... as always... Awesome Work Man.
You have done another incredible project Chris, especially working alone many days. You are inspiring, not too many people with the integrity that you have. Very well done sir.
Once again, Absolute smooth work performed.
Another beautiful pond done.

And if he has to fly to your location, just buy a set of tools like he has, including the fuel trailer, and let him at it!
@@redjohnson4859 Exactly
You are one fine operator, contractor and you must be proud of what you've accomplished.
Well, if there was anyone who questioned Chris buying the 330 and/or the D7 they should be straight on that now.

That D7 can move the dirt!! Good deep sound to it. Pond is beautiful!!

Nice to know the property owner is going to replant new trees on part of it.
I hope it's a nice mix of money trees.
Both soft and hard wood trees.
10 to twenty years in the future selective cutting cash crop.
Better to have it and not need it, rather than to need it and not have it, has always been my thought !!
we need a ponds revisited, 2 years later to see how they have established.
Plenty of creativity in this job. Finding good dirt to replace the bad stuff. Then making the bad stuff look good. Darn we did not get to see how Chris handled the dirt compactor.

You bought got the paint wore off the front of that blade. Chris must’ve been some good paint. Be safe.
I just can’t get over the extension of the excavator arm. Chris calling the little bucket “ precious” cracked me up! 😄
Apart from the wiz around with the ruckus rake it sure turned out dandy bro and the D7 showed it is good at packing down the dirt too. Safe travels. Ken.
Big Kitty, really has the power, wow.
Great job as always.
Keep them coming.

Good job mate ❤❤❤❤❤ your work
Chris the D 7 has a reversible fan for cold weather working.
the chrome stack looks so good
Big Cat is a beast... can't imagine what a D10 could do.
It looks Purdy… that D7 sure pushes the big piles with ease.. unless my ears deceive me.. it almost seems a bit quieter than the D6 too.. good pond video
That old 7 sure does make short work on moving mass yardage.
That darn 7 is so so sooo nice
Consider using the right blade corner to side cut dirt, or switch the blade tilt cylinder and hoses to the other side,
You gonna fuck up the chrome if you do that regularly
Enjoy the video Chris and I remember this Baby Bucket wen you first 220 Volvo .
That D 7 sounds so good ,it looks like a great investment and a good buy.

Cold start Kitty wants to Go!
you could fit a few perspex windows in the d7 to keep the weather out
Listen to the big kitty purrrrr
Need to get an oversized christmas card with the D7 on it and send it to C&C saying something like Not my paint job!
Big kitty likes you already.
Your a perfectionist
Great job Chris. You the man.
D-7 certainly makes short work out of thirty loads of dirt
18:45 Your mechanical dinosaur even roars! xD
Making a great job there Chris...stay safe
I think for the D7 I would talk to a canvas guy and have him make up some clear snap on panels . Will keep you out of the rain , wind , and help keep some heat in .
