    When you butt these drains together there appears to be a small but noticeable gap between sections. This video did not say anything about sealing that gap. I'm I wrong in assuming that if you do not seal, the water or product will slowly find that gap and leak onto the concrete underneath...causing bacteria etc. to grow. Comments?

      Hi John,
      Thanks for your question!
      There is a small gap between the channels which is for a sealant. This option is often not used in stormwater applications as the concrete encasement of the channel is sufficient to stop seepage (like any cast in situ drain) and the gap, after time, just fills in with silt.
      That said, if it’s something you’re concerned about, you can absolutely use a sealant to join the channels together.
