I like how he used a bungee to hold the chain as he moved the truck forward thats pretty good idea
You turned the chain upside down, Mr. Engineer
inside out
Upside down. ...Not brain surgery.
🤔 I wouldn't let this guy put chains on my truck, he puts the sharp part of the chains on the rubber! 🤣🤣
Maybe he needs to put them upside down so he can use the tool?
You got him. 😂
Hahahah I do that all the time, never had a problem. Of course I also buy and repair my own chains and tires and have never had an issue.
Wish I would have had that tool the last 30 years.
Man I wish I had this got stuck on a lease road with tire chains I've only used once .....It took about all of 10 or 15 minutes to destroy a brand new set of chains on a hill most likely because they were too loose .
Is ther a tool that helps you put them on correctly? You installed 'em upside down. Some say you get twice the wear that way....whatever. You do you.
Would it be possible to over tighten a tire chain?
No. What would happen in worst case is you snap a link, if the chains are bad/worn.
Damm 3 years I go through 2 sets per winter hauling logs
Where do I get the tool? Thank you

Tire chains are inside out.
It doesn't matter what direction you put on your chain.
