ChainPro

ChainPro is a tool designed to make chaining up easier, safer and quicker. Features include a built-in cam lock, built in ball to remove snow and ice, provides mechanical leverage to tighten chains without having to move the truck, can also be used to pull the fifth wheeel pin and check for travel in the brake pods. Fits in a standard size tool box and is made of T100 steel. A must have for all truckers.

The most common use for this tool will be to hook up side hooks tightly as he showed us. If you do it tightly you dont even need to tighten cams. I use a spare large side hook in the same manner as he used this tool and they are easy to get. I never bother with the cams.

Great question. I use a thing called a spreader tool. Also a crimper. It's huge. Best tool I have for chaining.
