- The Honor 50 unboxing and camera test is finally here, featuring the new Honor 50 which is making its debut in Europe with the Google Play Store pre-installed. This is the first time we've seen an Honor smartphone in Europe with the Play Store installed since it was removed due to Huawei being placed on the US Entities List several years ago.
The honor 50 camera test does through our usual camera testing for new smartphones to see how the cameras on the back and front of the phone perform in everyday conditions.

In Terms of Camera portraits are amazing and I must say much better than S21 ultra. Battery will last easily two days.
@@a1eksa1 Hi! Im gonna get my honor 50 today and i want to say to you that i know that the honor 50 will last u the whole day , anything you would do with him , and it charges 75% in 20 minutes , 100% in 45% , so battery wont be a problem

Thank you so much! This was super helpful. Only thing I still wonder if it'll be able to catch decent pictures of moving objects as small kids and pets.. in low light too. I have not been able to find a phone to compete my Huawei p20 Pro that died last summer... I really miss taking good pictures. Anyway this Honor 50 looks promising!

What a shame that it hasn't got OIS, neither the Pro version, as it should be a must feature, i just don't understand them. I watched the launch reveal back then, it was really disappointing. I still have the Honor 20 Pro ( bought it in 2019 ), and i would like to upgrade to a new and better Honor device, but i have to wait. If the Honor Magic series will also come to Europe with GMS i will consider it, but that series is too expensive, yes great cameras on those, but still to expensive i think. And i wanna upgrade this year. Or maybe i have to switch for another brand, but there are too many phones, hard to keep up and make my decision. Keep up the good work! :)
Honor 20 Pro was the Honor flagship of that year, but now the Honor 50 series have stepped down to a mid-range device and the current Honor flagship is the Magic 3 series. Should Magic 3 ever make its way to Europe, I think it will have GMS. Magic 3 Pro just had a camera software update in China, different lenses working together, supposed to be great. But my worry is Snapdragon 888 runs too hot even just daily usage, this year might not be a great time to switch phones.😂

It's a test full of information, thank you very much. But I tell you the unpleasant detail. The different greens disappear, they too often become one, it's as if there were only one shade of green, the foliage all have the same green of edible jelly.
anyone know what ISO the main camera is capable of?
The main camera is kind of cool but at night everything went down as well with the zoom...

No. USB-C is 2.0 only. You can only attach USB-OTG stuff to it no HDMI or video out

with the same price i can buy Xiaomi 11T Pro 8+256 with 120W Hyper Charge and Snapdragon 888 and 5000 mAh Battery.

Pretty much all on par. All of them have a great screen. Software I like on Honor better tbh.
Welp.. most of the videos/photos are equivalent to my older Huawei Mate 9 except without the larger megapixel and ultrawide lens. Budget wise this will be a great phone

Nope. Mono speaker. A good one and powerful enough. But yeah stereo or dual speakers in general would be better

Definitely not worth it's price. The camera quality is very poor except the main lens doing good sometimes. Better to go with the oneplus nord 2, or samsung A52, Motorola edge fusion etc.

Как обычно ужасная камера от хонор, у меня хонор 20 и вообще нп вижу улучшений, в комнатной освещении как обычно все размыто, замылевание от хуавей это стандартно. Любой пиксель порвёт эту камеру

Pro mode is there. Set a fixed fast shutter speed and enjoy good shots.
Better go with A52s rather than this brat...it has much better camera system processor is same..plus great UI
I have the Samsung galaxy a52s and I really dont like it and the camera is pretty terrible compered to my older phone and the charging is so slow and the only good thing about the phone that it has a decent chipset my old Samsung galaxy s10 seems like away better phone
