1 STR = 2 AP (or 2.2 with 5/5 Divine Strength talent). Crit is more important, to proc Vengeance (but STR still very important).

Mana burn the ret
so many resists on that pally hes prolly using aura and a lot of resist items + reflector. kinda pointless to go for a MC when your shields down and under half hp. just a recipe for dying
T2 pala set gives 30 shadow res and aaura 60 so a good amount but not crazy. He could be wearing additional pieces that have shadow res
@@andreaslange1536 I actually carry both tier 1 and tier 2 on my person -- every other piece of the tier 2 and tier 1 have fire and shadow resist in reverse... so you can actually build powerful stat-based shadow and fire sets out of them.
I have them premade in my Item Rack addon. You can fit the 5 piece set bonus of Judgement into both sets and Hand of Rag has 30 Fire Resist on it on top of it which helps vs. Grenade stun.

Ret paladins do well against shadow priests, in my experience in classic as a paladin main.
The matchup isn’t skill dependent. If you have high enough shadow resist it becomes autowin. T2 is also good as it has 30 sr and a lot of int/stam
you can win quite decently with just t2 and an aura

I lasted 3 mins in, this pally is horrible, judgement stun auto attk, judge of command does about 20%more dmg on STUnED targets, u never judge stun. stun judge heal, could of kill the preist multiple times there
because he didn't do a stun > judge to do 20% more damage which is around 200 more damage on judgement, he could have killed the priest multiple times and is terrible? talking out of your ass lol

@@ZoowThe the difference between judging a stuned target to one that's not is the difference in doing either a 650crit or a 1000crit. 20% dmg increase stacks with vengeance 15% dmg increase, you need to either play some more or do some more research, as a paladin vs a priest ur either gunna stun the priest at 50%hp and burst em to death or ur dead urself, he got 1 lucky kill on the priest, that's why I called out the very basic 'auto attk and hope for the best ' play style that's does not make this paladin player ' A beast '

No offense but that Ret isnt even remotely good, you're just horrible at fighting Ret paladins. The only offensive ability aside from cc that you should be casting on a Ret as sp 1v1 is mana burn until they have no mana.
