The thing about Little Simz, she is a pure artist. She came up on the scene with her own set of talented in house producers. She is not so much a freestyle, radio set, clashing type emcee...she makes very well produced, very well thought out, creative tracks and albums. She is in the middle of an album roll our right now, so you might want to react to her latest singles, "Introvert" and "woman". Also Lol, Lex brought up Lady Leshurr, here's the thing, I still think Lady Leshurr is a better rapper even though i prefer Simbi, Lady Leshurr's issue is that she doesn't know how to make album quality music.

I know it's from way back in the day but wondering if you guys ever listened to Ms Dynamite? She's Akala's sister, got famous before he did. The sound of the music is arguably a bit outdated, but the lyrics still hold true in tracks like 'It Takes More', 'Put Him Out' & 'Father'. Did a lot for UK rap, especially paving the way for female artists.
This track is from her 'Grey Area' album - you should react to the whole thing as pretty much every track is 🔥🔥🔥. Simz has a new album coming out in September, which she's already dropped a couple of tracks from - 'Introvert' and 'Woman'

Can't believe y'all ain't seen more of the colors presentations, that's it, a colored cube with a mic. I think she was inspired by Em's Venom for this track but she absolutely killed it. Y'all really need to check out Marilyn Monroe, such a laid back flow. More first exposure friendly but she delivers some sweet bars in there too. PS- nice to see Brad bobbin his head too.
Little Simz is a true artist, and for me, she is in my top 5 of UK artists male or female, and never fails to impress.
You probably feel you prefer Little Simz to Lady Leshurr as you find her easier to understand.theyre both amazing but very different artists. It seems we have more access to Caribbean accents and mix of language like patois in the slang , I think until you hear it several times and get used to it it's tricky to catch. 💖

Little simz is so underrated for some crazy unknown reason. The video style Lex mentioned is actually very common.. Check out COLORS on RUclips and there are lots of artists who have recorded a song of theirs in this style of video. They showcase artists from all over the world, I have found so much new music through this!
Not a huge wordsmith but definitely an underrated artist who you should check out on COLORS is an artist called Jelani Blackman and the song he did with them is called hello. Would love to see you guys react to this song 😊

Venummm! That's going to be running through my brain for a while.
This is a big tune no doubt, paired back banger with a street flex... but it's a long way from her best work. 'Woman' is powerful, some vibes from this track but takes the claws away and brings a softer but deeper strength.
'Introvert' is a straight up masterpiece, song of the year and Incredible video. Get on these and you won't regret it...
