Nice video. I was really hoping it was a review of iFi’s new streamer/DAC. Hopefully you can get your hands on one of those. Since you have one, an interesting comparison would have been the built-in DAC in the Naim Uniti Atom (or NAD M10 v2, or Cambridge 150) versus the Node using the iFi iDSD DAC. I believe all three of those units have an analog input. I know the Naim does. So you could have plugged the Node/IFi combo into the Naim’s analog in and streamed directly to the Naim and then to the Node, so it would be a very fair comparison, removing the variables. I think the Naim and the iFi both use Burr Brown dacs, so that would be really interesting to me.
Thank you! Hopefully I can get the streamer/dac. That would be a good comparison to just compare the Dac only. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to do so. If it’s not with this one maybe another in the future. I just don’t know how long I’ll have the ifi dac available.

And I realize your channel is new, so you don’t have a large inventory of equipment from which to choose for a comparison. I would hope that the iFi is better than the internal DAC in the Node. So I was just trying to think of thing I believe you have on-hand to do a comparison. Like - does the iFi iDSD compare favorably to similarly priced DACs, does it outperform, underperform?
iFi makes some good stuff.... I still use the IFI iDSD Micro BL portable Dac/Amp and man I love it ...specially the switches ......

Between the mojo 2 and ifi which in your opinion sounds better as a DAC?
It really depends on what you are looking for sound wise. I myself slightly prefer the mojo, however is just not as practical for a desktop setup.
