I think this is an ok review. But to review a product without knowing the name, manufacturer, or any details about the product is pretty disappointing. The board has an extensive build guide and to review it, or any product rather, without taking time to understand what you need to do to build it really comes across as poor effort and is unfortunate for your viewers. You should just call it an unboxing because the approach isn't informed enough to be a review.
I completely agree and that he didn’t know the name of the Olivia key cap set and compared it to akkos. No hate on Akko but yeah. Slightly disappointed.
Yeah. I’m kinda disappointed the way he just placed everything at random or where it would fit. The product was sent to him complete and with some few extras which meletrix does not normailly include in the kit purchased by consumers. Such a disrespect, not only for the company but also for the consumers who are going to get the product for a fee.
Great Video! I suggest trying the Epomaker th66 or the Dukharo vn 66! Its a 65% with a rotary knobb and is getting a lot of attention these past few months!
Great video! This board really does offer a lot for its value and is easily one of the best "budget" customs in the market right now :D R2 is up right now with a ton more color options! Just one thing though, the stabs do kinda need some work 😅 But great vid nonetheless!
Should I buy k552 rgb in 40 dollars and out of k552 ,k630, k17 fizz what should I choose (k630 is pink led only with black colour for 20 dollars). Custom keyboards cost almost triple in my country as compared to US
@@lukmandanish96 keyboard community in my country is just trash they don't care about keyboard and gaming mouse they'll buy 3070 and i7 or r7 happily but never invest on good accessories I'll go for some Chinese brand mouse with a lot of rgb and trash sensor and they don't care about keyboard so companies don't invest here in this stuff but exceptions are there. Hey can you do a comparison on boards with knobs? (Aka gmmk pro clones) Like incorporate the feker, this one, and potentially a new one like the next time 75 or even the gamakay lk65! Thanks
The enthusiast side of me was a bit disappointed with your ability to build an actual custom board, while the consumer side of me was disappointed with your review. I know your main thing are prebuilts, but I guess I just assumed you'd know a bit more about the custom side of the hobby.
This looks and sound great! i just modded my K552 following your guide and I'm surprised how closely my board sounds like this. I used Akko matcha greens, lubed them all (took me 5 hours to complete my board as it was my first time modding) but it's close to the sound of the JWK switches that came with your kit. I'm sure they sound and feel better when you lube them though.
@@theguywhoasked4340 The matcha greens sound so good lubed man. The creaminess of your board has a lot more factors than just your switch tho. I used 1/8" rubber pad for sound dampening. They're a lot harder to use than foam but definitely sounded solid. Good luck man! I'm using matcha greens and in the process of lubing my jelly blacks
Probably the Feker, but I like to customize my board, this one is really great and sounds and feels awesome, and overall much more special, but the Feker is more of a challenge.
i had build both boards, if you want nice build quality then definitely go for this meletrix zoom65 and its on preorder now. The feker board is nice too and always in stock. It do comes down to personal preference but i do prefer the zoom65 over the feker
hello! may i ask when i checked the official supplier in my country it doesnt come with switches? i hope you can clarify why this is the case. in your package you received switches with it which makes me confused
he bought the original kit, that's sold out already. the company behind this board is doing another run this time with just the barebones kit so it's like 20 bucks cheaper

Hi do you know if i can buy it without switches keycaps or stabs
@@Fredrikacool yes, look for the "essential edition"
Check out the QK65, one of my most anticipated kb this year
Mine too, I ordered myself a black chroma
Yeah the sound For 150 € or less (Without Shipping) is So Good Like The Jelly epoch or mr.suit In sound
How much gasket do you need?
Meletrix: YES
hey ctr can you please review the fantech maxfit67 i found it and think its one of the best budget keyboard :)
ive been wondering whether i should get it or the akko 3068b
Go with redragon k530 much better plus Bluetooth
i really don't think the maxfit 67 is available in the us officially just yet, maybe later
I like the epomaker TH66 better.
K8 pro best
Why on earth do you think they would both pre install the gaskets and pre holy mod the stabalizers. Do you know how much labour that would take up?
*Please refer to the build guide*

I can't believe he called them AKKOs ahaha i feel olivias are so popular it should have been instant lol
Love to see you guys reviewing more premium options for keyboards hope to see more content like this
I’ve been trying to decide if I should buy the Tecware Phantom 87 or the Redragon K530 Pro. Is there one you think is better?
You should try checking out the Rakk Pirah. It's one of the most popular barebones kit here in the philippines and it's very affordable
This is an amazing concept with great execution! I just wish it came in a larger layout

Great video. Can you review AKKO PC75B Plus? Seems like a solid budget option.
Absolutely! Just waiting for it to come in!
Yay. Mine just got shipped today. 😊

I honestly don't get how they can include everything in this kit for 179 dollars (or 210 cuz Consumer tech prob bought it from Cannonkeys)
Can you do a best 75% keyboards video pls
Please review and mod the next time 75 percent keyboard
he already did the ik75 is a rename of the nt75!
the man used normal 205g0 lube here for the stabs, is that better or worse than dielectric grease
I would say dielectric grease is better for the wires only tho, as they can’t be used for the housing
You’re supposed to put the gaskets on the case, and not the plate
would you say these included stabs are better or the Durock v2 stabs?
Definitely durock
disagree,these stabs are better
Uhh ok sure it’s all about preference ig

you already missed the qk anyway, but the qk will be better than the zoom, owlabs is a better company for QC than Wuque

@ConsumerTechReview hi is it possible to by the board but without switches keycaps or stabs
Yes, there’s the new zoom65 essential edition that is basically the barebones kit but I think it comes with stabs
what was the sound test recorded with?

Yes it comes with everything you need for a board
