@NeonReactionsPierre THE FELIX EFFECT STRIKES AGAIN! Don't worry good sir, "The Voice" slapped us all in the face the exact same way the first time we heard it. It never gets old seeing people hear Felix for the first time 😊
Stray Kids, man... They are amazing. They go hard, normally, but then they sing you a live on "First Take" like SCARS and they knock you out. Their music is another level.
Stray Kids let's go!!! They are a phenomenal group. Considered the little brothers of Twice (especially Bang Chan, the leader, since he grew up with the members and is close with the J-line, especially Sana). Brothers to Itzy (they love to tease each other), and big brothers of NMIXX (especially Bang Chan and Felix with Lily since they are all Aussies). You can actually see Lily as a trainee in their survival show and Twice makes an appearance first episode to wish Bang Chan good luck. The young women dancing in God's Menu are actually members of NiziU prior to their debut. Felix featured on Nayeon's song "No Problem" and Bang Chan was the male vocal in Tzuyu's Melody Project cover of "Me". Bang Chan was also one of the zombies in Twice's M/V "Like Ooh-Aah" when he was a trainee. Bang Chan is also long time friends with Lisa from BP. Stray Kids are self-produced with 3 of the members, Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, as the producer unit, known collectively as 3RACHA. They've written almost every single song in the SKZ discography. The songs that they did not write were written by the other members. Not only have they written their own music, they've written for other artists, including NiziU. The song "Paradise" which was for the new Doraemon movie was written by 3RACHA. Bang Chan was also the vocal director in the studio working with the NiziU members during recording. I would say the boy group sphere is just a diverse as the girl groups. 4th Gen boy groups tend to skew harder in sound and style, but there are also plenty of brighter concepts (Stray Kids themselves really just go wherever they want musically depending on what they are interested in). For your auto-tune question, some songs use it heavily, some not at all, and some sit in the middle. Because SKZ produce, they often incorporate filters and other sound effects to create unique works. From how Bang Chan talks about production, I'd say they use their voices more like instruments within the production rather than just singing/rapping on top of beats. I would recommend going down the SKZ rabbit hole - they have a LOT of music to choose from (currently over 170 songs). Some very popular songs to start: Thunderous (NMIXX did an amazing cover of this song) Back Door Venom The View Scars (Japanese) - I'd recommend watching The First Take live version to hear their live vocals Case 143 Levanter Topline (ft. legendary K-rapper Tiger JK) Sending you good vibes from Stayville! (Fandom name is Stay)
Thank you so much... This all sounds really really good and I think I will dive into the whole world of Stayville. Two other commentators suggested I start with a guide on them. There is a long one from 2023, so very recent. And that will actually be the first thing I'll watch. And after that.... I'll check out the songs and the MVs. Its so cool that so many groups are actually friends and support each other. Stay safe! And thank you once again!
This is well written and great overview of SKZ production on the way the Chan and crew work. I would just add Easy and Miroh to your list TY for sharing. Be sure to save and share this comment with others.
@@NeonReactionsPierreI have little to add to this in depth comment, but as song suggestion I would add S Class since it's their most recent comeback title song and hits hard too, and they have a japanese comeback September 2nd with a j-rock flavoured song, Social Path, that is pretty hard as well. Little thing to know choreo wise: since they write and produce their songs themselves, the producing unit 3Racha often sends the song during its composition to the dance unit Danceracha. So the choreography is built hand in hand with the production step, and they both serve to directly connect with the lyrics and support them.
HAHA this is the song that converted me to be a huge stray kids fan.. One year later, I can't be more grateful that I decided to dive deep into them. They are one of the coolest, most talented, greatest artists. And the amount of great music they have released is insane!
Stray Kids great title track MVs: 1. God’s Menu (415M views) 2. Back Door (322M views) 3. Thunderous (316M views) 4. MANIAC (198M views) 5. MIROH (178M views) 6. Christmas EveL (130M views) 7. S-Class (2023) 8. Case 143 (2022) And many more…. B-Side Music Videos: 1. Venom 2. Red Lights 2. Topline 3. Freeze 4. DLC 5. Give me ur TMI 6. Get Lit 7. FNF 8. Time Out And many more…
Absolutely love Obsession (what became known as Red Lights.) And I really don't think it's B-side material. And Christmas Evel has so many fan Easter Eggs which makes the MV more worthwile
They produce their own music. Bang Chan the leader, Han, Changbin are threeracha the producers (rappers). The other members are also writing songs. Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix are danceracha (they are the main dancers). Seungmin and I.N. are vocalracha (the vocals in the group). But basically all of them are great singers and dencers. They are uniques.
I’m not really into bg but Stray Kids is one of the few that I do keep tabs on! They have so many great tracks, my favs are Side Effects, District 9, Victory Song, Hellevator, Easy, Double Knot, Miroh, Back Door, Domino, Thunderous, Cheese, Freeze, Venom, Lonely St, Waiting For Us, Charmer, Maniac, Muddy Water, 3RACHA, Taste, s class, Topline…so many more!
I vote for each and every song listed in your comments, alll soooooo good!!! And also want to add Christmas Evel, All in, Item, Hall of Fame, Super Bowl and Social Path😂
[really LONG comment incoming I'm sorry I got carried away] Stray Kids quickly became my favorite group of all time but also my intro to boy groups, after I listened to them for the first time two years ago. I was also a girl group only listener so I'm glad you checked them out!! They really changed my pre-existing opinion on boy groups. I started listening to other boy groups thanks to them, but I haven't been able to find a group that compares to Stray Kids honestly. The group has 8 members (From oldest to youngest: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N) with no set positions (e.g main rapper, main dancer etc...) meaning that they all can sing, rap and dance. Of course, there are things that each member likes doing more, but having no set positions means that they are free to do what they want. But what makes them stand out in my opinion, is the fact that they are completely self produced! They have written 99.999% of their discography, have participated in composing their songs, and even the arrangements! The leader, Bang Chan (the one with the chains on his face in this MV) is the one who picked the members. He trained for 7 long years and the company trusted him a lot. So all 8 members have a very strong family-like bond and can't be seperated for more than a day 😅 They debuted in 2018 but didn't really blow up until 2020 with God's Menu. That song was what they described as their "beginning", since they had finally found their identity as a group and the kind of music they enjoyed making/performing. Because they are self produced, and because they love what they do so much, we get a lot of solo/unit songs from them. These days we've been getting new solos almost every week (usually means that a group comeback is coming soon with them). Their discography is HUGE. They have 12 albums (13th is on the way later this year) excluding their Japanese releases, and they don't have a set genre. They have tried anything from hip hop, to edm, rock, softer ballads, etc... The first 3 members that joined the group are Bang Chan, Changbin (first rapper in God's Menu) and Han (second rapper). The three of them actually formed a group pre Stray Kids debut named "3racha" (pronounced Three Racha). 3racha is now an official sub-unit of Stray Kids and if you check the credits on almost all Stray Kids songs, you will see that name witten all over. And it is because they are the main producers of the group. They have written, composed and arranged (with the help of other JYP producers) every title track and almost every b-side excluding solos or units of the other 5 members who have written those songs. God's Menu specifically is a song about the fact that they make their own music, how unique it is, and how they experiment a lot with their sound. It's also about how even if someone says they don't like them that will keep on coming back because their songs are addicting. They have gotten a lot of criticism over the years for their music being "noise music" and "construction music", which is why they are in a construction site in the MV. They actually have a lot of soft melodic songs, but their title tracks have mostly been hard hitting, intense songs so people assume their entire discography is like that. Since God's Menu's success, a lot of Kpop producers have been asked by companies to make songs similar to it. Which is why people associate boy groups to this type of sound now. But honestly, I don't think anyone has been able to pull it off as well as Stray Kids. And they never stop experimenting, meaning that they will always bring something new to the table which I haven't seen a lot of boy groups do these days honestly. Their unique identity, and music style really set them apart as a group and is the reason why they are now so successful. Their latest album "5-STAR" which came out in June, was the most pre-ordered album in Kpop history with 5.1 MILLION units worldwide. It also was their third album in a row to rank #1 in the US. The fandom, named "STAY" has gotten a lot bigger since God's Menu. And finally, the guy with the deep voice! His name is Felix and everyone gets surprised by it the first time they hear it lol! His voice has a lot of range. He can lower it a LOT, but he also can pull off some higher notes. His falsetto is absolutely beautiful when he sings! This comment is loooong, so I will stop now 😅Sorry if it was all over the place. But I hope it was helpful, and if you want recommendations and if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to help! The best guide to watch if you wanna get to know them is the 2023 guide by channel 'Teanosuga'. It has a lot of song snippets, but it's the best guide out there atm. It's quite long (about an hour) but so worth the watch in my opinion.
WOOOOHOOOOO! Thank you so much! I really appreciate this. No need to be sorry. Awesome information and I am actually impressed by them being self produced in almost everything. That is really great. Ok, so there seems to be a lot to check out and it seems to be worth checking out. The guide on them sounds good. Sombody else already told me that would be a good start. And that exactly will be my start. Yea, its like one hour and twenty seven minutes... But hey, thats ok. And yes that low voice of Felix was sick... Very unexpected at that moment. Btw did you see Lexi do her dance routine on the song in A2K? If not you should check her out. She did a great job. Ok then, once again thank you so much! If I have any other questions I'll come back to you. Take care!
@@NeonReactionsPierre Lexi's cover was indeed great. It made me go back to the original music video and watch it a few times. She is the best dancer in the group for me. I'm also following your A2K journey and I can't wait to watch the next one with you when it comes out.
Stray kids found me 5 months ago, and I am already a die hard fan! By far the best rabbit hole I've ever gone down, no regrets 😂. I never would have known about A2K if I didn't follow SKZ on here, and I can't describe my excitement in words. When Lexi did the dance to this song, I straight up screamed. I am not the personality type to react that way to anything in general, and I cannot wait for the showcases! I am very much looking forward to your journey with Stray Kids. They are truly dynamic and utterly brilliant ❤
Thank you so much. Yes they seem to be really great. I did react to the latest A2K episode 13 and will react to all following after this if you are interested. Yea, Lexi is a dance beast I can't wait to see how she moves on. All the girls really.... Thanks for being here :)
You should see them live. They are amazing, mind blowing, spectacular, etc. Tbeir music, choreography in their videos and live are the best of the best!!! STRAY KIDS WORLD DOMINATION!!
Stray Kids are largely independent in the making of their music and choreo. One of the main reasons I’m a stay is how varied their discography is…since every member has written a song, there’s such variety. If you don’t like one song (kinda hard to do imo) then listen to the next, cuz it’ll be different.
This song made me deep dive into them and now I am a HUGE fan! I would say a group that is “similar” is Ateez, but personally I lean toward Stray Kids (SKZ for short). They definitely are known for their hard hitting (sometimes oddball and off the wall) sound. They even made an album called NoEasy (a play on the word noisy) bc they were constantly being told they didn’t make music they made “noise.” They have a bunch of all-rounders and are self-produced. Definitely suggest checking them out! *Their most recent album is 5 Star, probably their best album yet*
Stray kids are more unique compared to other groups because they are more experimental and have such big control over their music. They themselves make their beats, write the lyrics, and produce 90% of most of their songs. You will not regret deep diving into them, their discography is very big and versatile. ❤ we look forward to your journey to becoming a stay! 🎉
There is so much more to watch and react to other than just their songs. They are gorgeous human beings who are true role models for all. And funny, so funny, each personality gets you in the feels. I personally have adopted them all as MY family and would do anything for them. As an Aussie, i would like to start a petition to get Hyunjin citizenship here lol, our adopted Aussie boy.
Saurrrr you're an Aussie... hahaha sorry, had to do that. I love the Australian accent and every time I hear Danielle of NewJeans and Rose of Blackpink talk I have to smile. Yes I will definitely check out SKZ more
@@NeonReactionsPierre our leader, Bang Chan (Chris) and deep voice Felix are both Aussies. HYUNJIN calls himself out Aussie boy he loves visiting here spending time with the boys families. I think they all do just quietly. Watch their content, you'll hear the Aussie accents.
i have been a girl group fan since the very beginning of my kpop journey, and stray kids has been the ONLY boy group that had caught my attention like girl groups always had. they continue to be my only exception when it comes to boy groups for over two years since discovering them. stray kids is a one of a kind group. there are boy groups who try to do what stray kids does and it just doesn’t work like how they make it work. some boy groups definitely go really hard, and i can appreciate good music when i hear it, but in my opinion, no one can come close to stray kids in the boy group category and ESPECIALLY not in the 4th gen boy group category. there are 8 members and they completely write, compose, and arrange all of their music with little to no outside influence/help. reactions to felixs voice never gets old😭 and no matter how long you’ve been listening, you never get used to it. 3racha (producer line consisting of bang chan, changbin, and han) LOVE autotune😭 i was never a fan of excessive autotune until stray kids and while it does take a minute to get used to, over time you will learn to love it (almost!) as much as they do. they dont use it in every song, but its a stylistic choice they utilize often. getting into stray kids was one of the best decisions of my life. i have absolutely no regrets and i hope you continue to dive into them and get to know them and their music better. they are a group of 8 incredible, kind, and talented guys. you will not regret getting into them.
Thank you so much for the insight. Yes I will be diving... next up is the 90min guide to get to know them and group better before going through the MVs
Stray Kids were the first boy group I got into, and have had trouble listening to anything else ever since. They just make so many great songs, and they're so fun to watch. Looking forward to your discovery of them. Also Lexus did so well on the A2K when she covered this!! I'm really rooting for all of those girls to make it to Korea
Thank you, yea, Lexus is a dance beast... I really like the A2K show. I started reacting to it two days ago with their latest episode and will continue until they debut...
Yes! More Stray Kids please. They are truly great and produce amazing songs. Each member extremely talented, they are unique in their songs production (producing their own music and writing their own lyrics) and style. You will love them. Amazing dancers, rappers, vocalist, great stage presence and personalities; Stray Kids are more than impressive. I do recommend you listen to their music, even their B sides are no skip. I’d love to follow you on this journey. I suggest Super Bowl, Venom, Maniac… they have over 160 songs in their discography and they are all great in their own merit.
@@NeonReactionsPierre Btw the original version of Super Bowl doesn't have a MV and is full english but they also released a japanese version this one has a MV, I recommend the original, not because is in english but because they did a lot of play with word that got lost in japanese. Fun fact *Super Bowl* was supposed to be the original *God's Menu* for the album *Go Live* but end up being cut and only now 3 years later we got Super Bowl for their *5 Star* album, so if you choose to react to it watch out for references😊😊
Stray Kids are in a league of their own. They are incredibly hardworking and very talented. They are self produced and write their own lyrics/beats etc They have a huge discography and never disappoint. You may like their survival show, or when they competed on Kingdom. I look forward to seeing more of your Stray Kids reactions.
thanks for reaction! I listen to any music I like, but judging from my playlist I definitely lean towards boy groups if talking about kpop. that being said, Stray Kids has a special place in my heart as the first ever artist who inspired me enough to listen to 100% of their discography. they are my most favourite artists of all time - not only in kpop but outside as well, and they were the first artist in my life I can call myself a fan of (I am over 30 years old). their music is not for everyone, but if you like their specific sound, you get really hooked. I wish you a pleasant journey!
Stray Kids is a self-producing group (3racha), they compose, write & arrange their own music! credited for more than 150 songs on KOMCA. Stray Kids members were hand-picked by Bang Chan (the leader) one by one not the JYPE. They went through a survival show under the same name and debuted on 2018 (5 years ago). 4th Gen Leader SKZ!!!
Your reaction has me laughing so much because you are 100% me! But they get me like that with every single freaking music video and performance. Stray Kids are CONSISTENT with their punches!! I love them! Thank you for reacting! S-Class is their 5-Star Title released June 2nd this year and it’s amazing too!
Thank for such a genuine reaction. I hope you do explore Stray Kids. They are a fun, genuine group with great music that they produce themselves and great content overall. They are easy to like and extremely talented. They debuted in 2018 and in the lat couple of years have exploded. I'm new to your channel so I don't know how you like to explore new groups but they put out a lot of music since they self-produced. Their latest album is 5-Star and came out in June. S-Class is the title track and is an impressive song and MV. If you like slower songs, you'll want to explore more of the b tracks. Last bit of advice, don't be fooled by their hype songs. They write with meaning and intention and their music follows their journey of discovery as teenagers to adulthood and artists. Happy to make any recommendations. I'm going to check out more of you videos now.
stray kids is a very admirable group who worked really hard and created their own genre of music that reactors often refer to as the stray kids sound, Lexus KILLED their dance and I was already a stray kids fan when I watched that episode so it made me love her even more. they are also absolutely hilarious and don't fall into the fake idol world that kpop groups often do, they're very genuine and very relatable
dam ngl seeing u reply to any comment suprises me XD usually a lot of ppl r lazy, anygays, ofc the deep voice name is "felix" u can say hes the most "popular" in skz? and thats because most of stays join into the fandom bc of his deep voice XD, but dont let his voice fool you, hes the cutest softy/sunshine u would ever see in existent defo recomend next s-class, back door or case 143 :D (case 143 is a love song)
Thank you so much.... yea you know as long as I can keep up with the replies I will do it. I think its important, Every comment is important and ppl took some of their time to write something so I feel like I should reply as long as I can... Yes, so next up is the guide on the boys and then I might do a two song vid with Hellavator being pre debut and s-class in comparison being the most recent... Something like that
Stray kids was my gateway from girl groups to boy groups. I love them. I will be interested to watch your journey! I’ll look forward to you seeing Maniac and Thunderous.
@@NeonReactionsPierre Depending on the style you vibe with most, they have an insane amount of songs - 158 not including anything that is just released on RUclips with a new m/v being released on Tuesday, and another comeback coming probably in November. In the past few weeks, they’ve released Can’t Stop the Party as a gift to Stay (their fandom) for our birthday, Super Bowl (Japanese version) m/v - the original on 5 star was fully English, and three solos on Skz-record Hold On by Seungmin, Contradicting by Hyunjin and Miserable by Han. I am almost anticipating more releases of solos over the next few weeks, but again - social path releases on the 30th and is their new Japanese EP featuring LiSA (a Japanese artist).
@@StaySiren That is really cool. Is it by any chance this LiSA? ruclips.net/video/MpYy6wwqxoo/видео.html&ab_channel=THEFIRSTTAKE If yes then that would be nice. She has an awesome voice
i never clicked a reaction so fast?!?#$^*^ thanks for reacting to skz! i always enjoy your twice reactions (they're my very first kpop ults) so seeing you react to skz (my ults added on after twice) made my heart so happy :(( i won't comment much abt skz bc the others had commented pretty much everything you need to know. welcome to stayville!!
I love how they come at you hard . Stray Kids are one of a kind, there is no other like them. EVEN their dances are unique . Please watch more of them. Thunderous, Maniac, Venom & Case 143 I can highly recommend to you. As prople , they are wonderful as well. Their leadet is Bang Chan.. you want to talk about a Nice guy? He's well mannered , like old school manners, he's gracious, kind, caring, funny, painfully honest, authentic & sincere, in fact, so much so, it got him, quite unfairly, in trouble and he had to shut his live stream show down. He really cares a lot about the other members & is very protective. He is an extremely good leader, that leads by example. He and Felix ( of the deep voice) are ACTUALLY Australian by birth & have Australuan accents. They had to kearn to speak Korean. If you get inro BTS. Youll never escape . Youll be lost down the K rabbit hole FOREVER!!
Stray kids 5-STAR album being the most pre ordered album in Kpop history. 5.13 million. -Best selling kpop album in the US pure sales 500k -They also top the billboard 200. -Stray kids to perform at 2023 Video music awards. They are nominated for best kpop.
Thank you very much. Yea I've tried not to pause that much but by the time I said what I wanted to say three other things have happened so I decided to always pause when I want to say something that seems important to me. Glad you enjoyed this. There is more to come here :)
Thanks for the reaction. I am like you, not 'into' the boy groups that much. But there are 2 boy groups that have my attention. That's Ateez, and Stray Kids.
"Maybe, maybe I could just get into Stray Kids for the beginning, you know?" 😌😌 Pierre, its been almost a year since i dipped my toe into Stray Kids (kpop in general) and i never found the exit again!! Lol and I don't want to!! Amazingly, talented boys that live and breathe their music! 3Racha (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, as im sure many have shared now) produce their unique sound but now we are blessed with original songs from many of the members as well!! Stray Kids is honestly all i listen to now. Nothing hits the same after Skz for me anymore 💖
Thank you so much. I get what you mean. I've been into kpop since 2016 when Blackpink blew up and a few months later Minx redebuted as Dreamcatcher. But it was always the girls for me. This here caught me off guard and I'm actually really happy about it.
@@NeonReactionsPierre So glad to hear!! 😊 Always nice to see people discover Skz for the first time. Please continue to ask questions and (true) Stay will answer with patience and kindness!! Excited to see you around Stayville! Lol I'm subbing! 💖
@@ayba9177 Thank you :) i really appreaciate that. Yea, you might see me wandering down the main road here and there but if there is little lake outside of Stayville I'd be happy to put up a hammock there and chill with a cup of coffee..... 😂😂
YAY Stray Kids!! They do use autotune sometimes, but not as often as many other groups. It's usually for affect, rather than vocal correction. The guy with the deep voice is Felix. He has a very versatile voice.....he can sing deep bass (seriously DEEP), mid range for ballads and high falsetto. He also has a very distinct, raspy, growly voice he uses when he raps. Felix and the group leader Bang Chan are both from Australia. They are both fluent in Korean, but they do often sing in English, too.
Their songs always energetic, it's full of youth if that make sense+maybe after you know the group better through a guide or a moment compilation video or something react to thunderous and backdoor+they're considered like a brothers to twice+chan did appear on oh ah twice song as a zombie 😂
Thank you very much. Glad you liked it. Yes music has been part of my life for many years. I've lived and breathed that stuff as a listener and a musician myself....
Our fully self produced, self song writing kings! Everything you hear comes from them. They are incredible! They have 8 members (used to be 9) and they ALL sing rap and dance. Certain members to most of the singing, same with rapping, but they switch it up on us sometimes cuz they can all do it all so well! Yes Felix's voice is real! He has such an incredible range! Felix and Chan (Leader) are both from Australia. Also don't let the deep voice and fierce look from Felix fool you. He's actually the biggest sweetheart/ cutie to ever exist. He is walking sunshine. His smile could heal the world and he brings so much joy and comfort to everyone around him
Why does it totally warm my heart? When I see reactions like this to our boys. Please check out more from stray kids. They do it all from ballads to hard bangers like this. There's quite literally nothing that these boys cannot do. They will continuously impress you with their talent and their personality and their relationships with each other, it's absolutely unique.
Yes, please. We want more STRAY KIDS reactions. I'm a fan of most of JYP groups like TWICE, ITZY, NMIXX, STRAY KIDS and even A2K. You can call me a JYP fan really. Please react to more STRAY KIDS M/Vs.
Thank u for reacting to straykids!! ⭐Here are some of my favs:- Charmer, Domino, Thunderous, Maniac, District 9 (Their debut song), Hellevator (Their predebut song) All the best for your journey into stayville!!
Loved your reaction. I have come from a BG slant and only now looking at some GG. SKZ are my ulimate group and interestingly, you are not the only GG stan I've come across who started their BG journey with SKZ. Not sure what it is about them that draws GG stans in but, hey, it must be their uniqueness. God's Menu is actually the song that set them on their fast upward trajectory. If you do start a deeper dive, you've a LOT of music to catch up up. They are prolific and their recent June comback 5 Star is amazing. Anyway, just ask Stays what type of music you'd like to hear from SKZ and they'll let you know. Whilst they have a lot of high enery and rap, they also have some very beautiful melodic songs and ballads. Enjoy!
since everyone provided so much great feedback and recommendations in the comments, I won't delve too much further - but I just wanted to say thanks for the great reaction to SKZ! additionally, I feel like you wearing this shirt was fate: namaste? more like, "na, i'm a STAY" I hope you enjoy the deep dive into this wonderful group!
Just finished the video, I enjoyed it a lot and I'll make sure to stick around for your Stray Kids journey! :)) I also find it really cool how you're taking time to respond to all these comments! As many previous comments stated, Stray Kids are self produced! They really and I mean REALLY care about the messages they send across and they want to try making many kinds of music in all kinds of genres. They have some of the most experimental songs I've ever heard (Tortoise and the hare, 3rd eye, etc)! They do rock, they do pop, they do hiphop, they do ballads, they do edm, and much more! To get a glimpse of their talent in live vocals/rap you should check out the First Take performances, especially Scars, Slump & Mixtape:OH and also their performances on Kingdom (like "I'll be your man")! I heard you're gonna do the 2023 longer guide? Can't wait! :) It has a lot of spoilers tho, hopefully you don't mind that!
Hey hey, thank you! Yea I'm all for communication and exchanging views... Nice to have you here. I'll just have to see when I'm doing the guide. Its a long one :) Spoilers are not that bad. I'll hear the songs eventually so I guess its ok.
to answer some of your questions 6:04 they use autotune in some of their songs as a stylistic choice. they really know how to use it well tho. 11:42 i would say that stray kids have had big influence on kpop, they were one of the reasons that this hard hitting genre became popular. korean fans even have invented a new genre name for stray kids. ever since god’s menu came out there have been much more hard songs from other groups, because it gained so much attention. from other groups i’ve listened to, i would say that ateez’s sound is closest to skz, but it’s still its own thing. also the dance practice is a must see! as a dancer i was really impressed with the whole concept. them talking about cooking and using moves like chopping stuff and putting it in soup, it’s so creative.
Thank you so much. Yes I saw some of the moves in the dance and figured as much. The chopping was very obvious. Their sound is great, I really like it.
Stray Kids World Domination... one Stay at a time! Welcome to Stayville. One song is all it takes and you'll find yourself hooked. Please watch the TeaNoSuga 2023 Ultimate Stray Kids Guide. Alex is an amazing Stay and put a lot of hard work into the guide. It does contain spoilers to songs BUT there will be so much content and song clips that it shouldn't really spoil the actual songs for you.
I had gotten out of kpop when DBSQ broke up. Stray Kids brought me back big time. Nice review. Keep up with Stray Kids. You won't go wrong and the guy with the deep voice is Felix.
New sub here. Love your stray kids reaction!!!! I am so here for more of theirs and there are aome truly amazing groups like BTS, EXO, Ateez and TNX, just to name a few lol
Thank you so much. I really appreciate that! So, currently I am following a storyline of Stray Kids videos ... I'm on the seventh video so far. And I've done a few "excursions" from that storyline because of specific performances on A2K where the contestants performed two songs of theirs and I was told to watch the vid before I watch the show so I can judge them better... Well... anyway.. next two songs on the list are My pace - and - I Am You. Nice to have you here!
If you like Felix deep voice (yes this is not sound effect, he actually has this beautiful voice), check their songs: maniac, thunderous, victory song, s class, christmas evel, topline. And listen his own solo 'deep end', his voice not just deep, you need to hear it. I'm sure, you will like it)
For your questions, YES! bangchan (leader of straykids and part of 3racha that is, producer part of straykids) has said that they like using autotune for the effect and that even though many people despise it, he likes the effect and will continue to use it!
I swear every time someone does a reaction to stay kids they gain new stays lol. It's like every time a bell rings an angel gets it's wings, except they get stays
I just stumbled across you because you are reacting to Stray Kids and I really hope your journey with them will be a long one. One thing I will suggest - it is always worthwhile paying attention to their lyrics. A lot of their songs have meaning behind them (and a whole lot of clever wordplay that sadly doesn't translate to English) and I think it deepens the enjoyment. There is so much to watch in their videos, I think it's impossible to focus on lyrics in the first watch-through! Definitely watch a second time for lyrics, though. I personally enjoy hearing people talk about them, but even if you do it on your own time I think it will make you appreciate them even more. Obviously, not all of their songs have deep meaning but they delve into things like mental health (Secret Secret and Silent Cry are two that immediately pop to mind) loneliness, loss, being yourself... A lot of their albums in their first two years were dominated by themes of growing up, discovering who you are, and not living to other people's expectations. They were all teenagers when they started, other than the leader Bangchan, who turned 20 around the time of the reality show. They were already writing all of their songs. Bangchan chose each of the members personally and the reality show was to prove to JYP that they were each ready to debut. There used to be a 9th member, Woojin, who left the group in 2019 for personal reasons. In any videos from their first year and a half you will see another vocalist, so don't be confused!😅 He has a great voice and now does solo work with another agency, though his type of music isn't really for me. Have fun exploring Stray Kids!
Thank you so much for giving SKZ a chance i am so glad Alexis danced this song in her dance practice , SKZ are amazing!! Auto tune is definitely a choice in the song, they use it sometimes, almost never to this extend but the boy who do the autotune part (Bang Chan, the leader) is the same singing in this part 4:34 Please react to S_class next !! 🎉🎉🎉
Fun fact - Stray Kids are huge fans of Dreamcatcher and Bangchan watches and sings along to their MVs in some of his live videos. ❤ I only listened to Dreamcatcher for the longest time and was not really interested in other kpop groups until I saw Stray Kids. Now they are exclusively the only two kpop groups I listen to. 😂 So excited to go on the Stray Kids journey with you.
Stray kids! Thanks for your reaction, it was fun to see you enjoying it! if you decide to go ahead and check SKZ out you won't be disappointed! Their discography is so diverse and interesting, and there is so much of it to explore haha. I'd love to see you check out a guide, Tea no sugar's is a really good one and pretty recent. Everyone on here has already explained loads about their production and music, so i just want to drop in and say if you like dancing, SKZ are really talented dancers too. Their choreos are so interesting and satisfying to watch, and the guys are super talented together and alone. Especially with title tracks, the choreo often fits with the concept or lyrics the song, e.g. in gods menu you might have spotted some kinda cooking moves, like chopping and frying with a pan haha. So as well as the MVs, the dance practices are so good to watch too! Looking forward to seeing the rest of your journey to stayville 🙌
Thank you so much.... yes I'm gonna check out the 90min guide next. Then after that we'll see. But I thought of starting with Hellavator to get something pre debut and then go from there. And yes I noticed the chopping moves :)
How did I already know before clicking that the intro clip would be about Felix's voice 😂
That was very unexpected for me... but really cool
@NeonReactionsPierre THE FELIX EFFECT STRIKES AGAIN! Don't worry good sir, "The Voice" slapped us all in the face the exact same way the first time we heard it. It never gets old seeing people hear Felix for the first time 😊
@@djinn5658 haha, I bet ppl just watch Gods Menu reaction to see the FELIX EFFECT in effect
@@NeonReactionsPierreI know I do 😂😂
You need to listen deep end by Felix so you would suprise by the range of Felix voice he is incredible
Stray Kids, man... They are amazing. They go hard, normally, but then they sing you a live on "First Take" like SCARS and they knock you out. Their music is another level.
I love the first take show... I will definitely watch that episode.
@@NeonReactionsPierre they have 5 to choose from. My favourite is Lost Me
mine is SLUMP from Anime TOWER OF GOD
My favourite is Scars
Ah yes the Felix effect, it's always great to see lol
The "Felix Effect" haha.... I like that
Felix is australian
Some very popular songs to start:
Thunderous (NMIXX did an amazing cover of this song)
Back Door
Venom
The View
Scars (Japanese) - I'd recommend watching The First Take live version to hear their live vocals
Case 143
Levanter
Topline (ft. legendary K-rapper Tiger JK)
Sending you good vibes from Stayville!
@@NeonReactionsPierreI'm so ready to take this journey with you. You won't regret diving into them 😊
This is well written and great overview of SKZ production on the way the Chan and crew work.
I agree on the guide. the short ones are not worth it so 2023 ones are best
HAHA this is the song that converted me to be a huge stray kids fan.. One year later, I can't be more grateful that I decided to dive deep into them. They are one of the coolest, most talented, greatest artists. And the amount of great music they have released is insane!
Lets see if the conversion works for me as well... I liked what I heard and saw up to now...

[really LONG comment incoming I'm sorry I got carried away]
Stray Kids quickly became my favorite group of all time but also my intro to boy groups, after I listened to them for the first time two years ago.
Very unexpected at that moment.

yes, some of their songs do use autotune to a certain extent for the effect. not that they need it but they use it very well to fit the song. ❤
Thats what I got out of it. Artistic and not a necessity.
STRAY KIDS WORLD DOMINATION!!
on the list now :)
Stray Kids are largely independent in the making of their music and choreo. One of the main reasons I’m a stay is how varied their discography is…since every member has written a song, there’s such variety. If you don’t like one song (kinda hard to do imo) then listen to the next, cuz it’ll be different.
That is the cool thing I'm looking forward to
This song made me deep dive into them and now I am a HUGE fan!
Thank you, I will get into all of that in the future.....
Thank you very much... welcome aboard!
There is so much more to watch and react to other than just their songs.
They are gorgeous human beings who are true role models for all. And funny, so funny, each personality gets you in the feels.
I personally have adopted them all as MY family and would do anything for them. As an Aussie, i would like to start a petition to get Hyunjin citizenship here lol, our adopted Aussie boy.

i have been a girl group fan since the very beginning of my kpop journey, and stray kids has been the ONLY boy group that had caught my attention like girl groups always had. they continue to be my only exception when it comes to boy groups for over two years since discovering them.
stray kids is a one of a kind group. there are boy groups who try to do what stray kids does and it just doesn’t work like how they make it work. some boy groups definitely go really hard, and i can appreciate good music when i hear it, but in my opinion, no one can come close to stray kids in the boy group category and ESPECIALLY not in the 4th gen boy group category.
there are 8 members and they completely write, compose, and arrange all of their music with little to no outside influence/help.
reactions to felixs voice never gets old😭 and no matter how long you’ve been listening, you never get used to it.

@@NeonReactionsPierre Btw the original version of Super Bowl doesn't have a MV and is full english but they also released a japanese version this one has a MV, I recommend the original, not because is in english but because they did a lot of play with word that got lost in japanese. Their leadet is Bang Chan.. you want to talk about a Nice guy? He's well mannered , like old school manners, he's gracious, kind, caring, funny, painfully honest, authentic & sincere, in fact, so much so,
it got him, quite unfairly, in trouble and he had to shut his live stream show down.
-Best selling kpop album in the US pure sales 500k
-They also top the billboard 200.
-Stray kids to perform at 2023 Video music awards. They are nominated for best kpop.
Thank you that is very cool. I didn't know they were nominated.
Get into bro, you won't be disappointed.
Sounds like a plan... 😊
Waiting for more skz reactions!!!!!! (love the way you analize the song and stop to comment on the stuff you notice, keep this up)
Thank you very much.
Thank you mate! Yea thats the two ppl keep telling me about.
I love stray kids 🔥
This song is really good.... ima dive in
dude stray kids is hella special, a lot of people who primarily only listen to girl groups find stray kids and changed their mind
I might just be another one of those ppl :)
Yes. They like auto tube as an effect . They use it Because they like it. They don't need it. They like it.
Yes.... Stray Kids❤🎉..... Felix вау.... Шок производит по первому разу!
i love stray kids , hope u react to them more ❤
I will ... promise
Thank you! YAY ...
Before anything else, get ready to fall into a rabbit hole, there's no going back❤
I' in the stumbling process...... about to fall
And a STAY was born
Haha ... and his first meal was a menu from God....
Thanks for your reactions. Believe me, this group is incredible!
Thank YOU!
Their songs always energetic, it's full of youth if that make sense+maybe after you know the group better through a guide or a moment compilation video or something react to thunderous and backdoor+they're considered like a brothers to twice+chan did appear on oh ah twice song as a zombie 😂
Thank you, I'm gonna take a closer look now....
I have watched alot of Stray Kids reactions but this might be my favourite. I love the way you seem to feel the music. ❤
His smile could heal the world and he brings so much joy and comfort to everyone around him
Thank you very much. Yes I will be diving into Stayville now... starting off with the 90min guide and then to the MVs.... thanks for the insight :)
SKZ: 8 rapers, 8 singers, 8 dancers and They produce their own music
Thank you!
More Stray Kids Please. Love your reaction
Thank you. there will be more, I promise....
Ayyy Let's go Stray Kids. Love your reaction ❤They are FIREEEEEEE 🔥🔥🔥🔥more Stray Kids please
Glad you liked it!! Yes there is more to come
god's menu was the first stray kids song i heard, and now several months later i've become a huge fan
Looks like I'm on that same road atm
Finally kpop reactor with understandable English😭😭😭
Thank you very much.
Thank you so much, glad you liked it... I am on this journey and there will be more..... and more..... Happy you are here!
Yes, please. We want more STRAY KIDS reactions. I'm a fan of most of JYP groups like TWICE, ITZY, NMIXX, STRAY KIDS and even A2K. You can call me a JYP fan really. Please react to more STRAY KIDS M/Vs.
More SKZ on the way.... and YEA to another Midzy-Once-Nswer !!!!
Thank u for reacting to straykids!! ⭐Here are some of my favs:- Charmer, Domino, Thunderous, Maniac, District 9 (Their debut song), Hellevator (Their predebut song) All the best for your journey into stayville!!
Thank you. Yes I have taken the first steps into Stayville... looking back I think they closed the entrance on me so there is no turning back....
@@NeonReactionsPierre As we say, stayville is a serpent road.. (reference to SCLASS MV) there's no turning back once you enter 😆
I love seeing people react to the felix effect. It is awesome to see it every time people are always amazed (rightly so) by him.
So happy you've begun with SKZ❤
Me too :)
Literally the best kpop group in my opinion❤ i would recommend you to listen more skz songs, they make they BEST music in industry❤
Thank you, thats exactly what I am about to do here :)
Enjoy!
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. Yea, I'm excited where their songs will take me... They've got so many
since everyone provided so much great feedback and recommendations in the comments, I won't delve too much further - but I just wanted to say thanks for the great reaction to SKZ!
additionally, I feel like you wearing this shirt was fate: namaste? more like, "na, i'm a STAY"
I hope you enjoy the deep dive into this wonderful group!
Thank you... hahaha thats a good one...
Great catch on the wordplay.. Chan, Changbin and Han would love it..
@@Resistance_Is_Futile1of3 thanks!! I felt a bit cheesy typing it, but I felt like I had to… I would love to make 3RACHA proud (-:
It's really cool to see your reaction to this song. Your facial expressions convey a complete set of emotions.
thank you very much!
Just finished the video, I enjoyed it a lot and I'll make sure to stick around for your Stray Kids journey! :))
I also find it really cool how you're taking time to respond to all these comments!
Can't wait! :)
It has a lot of spoilers tho, hopefully you don't mind that!
Hey hey, thank you! Yea I'm all for communication and exchanging views... Nice to have you here. I'll just have to see when I'm doing the guide. Its a long one :) Spoilers are not that bad. I'll hear the songs eventually so I guess its ok.
That's how I got into Stray Kids. Thanks to Lexus' awesome performance.❤
Люди никогда не перестанут удивляться голосу Феликса, никогда 😃
People usually pair this with another one of their songs called "Easy" from the same album, It's not as intense but it's just as tough.
ok thank you. Thats noted now....
to answer some of your questions
6:04 they use autotune in some of their songs as a stylistic choice. they really know how to use it well tho.
Leo Stray Kids y entro inmediatamente
Gracias por reaccionar a Stray Kids❤
Thank YOU! Glad you enjoyed
Straykids will amaze you more...the are also awesome live...give us more reviews 👍🧡
coming..... thank you :)
Thank you, yes the guide is next :)
FELIX EFFECT!
Haha.... yes 💗
I love Felix's effect, so cool all the time. All of they are amazing
I had gotten out of kpop when DBSQ broke up. Stray Kids brought me back big time. Nice review. Keep up with Stray Kids. You won't go wrong and the guy with the deep voice is Felix.
Thank you, yes I'll dive right in....
More reaction to stray kids ❤
You never disappointed )
thank YOU... yes there will be more
New sub here.
I'm sure, you will like it)
Thank you very much!
If you like hard hitting songs, Stray Kids' music is where it's at!!
good
For your questions, YES! bangchan (leader of straykids and part of 3racha that is, producer part of straykids) has said that they like using autotune for the effect and that even though many people despise it, he likes the effect and will continue to use it!
I thought as much. Thank you!
@@NeonReactionsPierre No problem! Looking forward to more of your reactions!
More Stray Kids reactions !
coooooominngggggg
Felix beatboxes since he was a kid and that gave him an extended range. His voice is incredible😊 💙
Felix's line is iconic and it made many people become Stays, including me lol
Thanks Pierre looking forward to your expiring SKZ ❤
I swear every time someone does a reaction to stay kids they gain new stays lol. It's like every time a bell rings an angel gets it's wings, except they get stays
Haha, love that!
I was a stray kids fan since miroh but the first time I saw this video it was like being introduced to Kpop all over again
Thank you so much... I will get into the lyrics as far as I can. Its nice to see that they go into more mature themes.
Thank you so much for giving SKZ a chance i am so glad Alexis danced this song in her dance practice , SKZ are amazing!!
Auto tune is definitely a choice in the song, they use it sometimes, almost never to this extend but the boy who do the autotune part (Bang Chan, the leader) is the same singing in this part 4:34
Please react to S_class next !! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank YOU for watching! There will be more here soon, first I will watch the 90min guide to the guys... just to get to know them better.
Stray kids are my 1🎉 They have soo many good songs😮🔥🔥🔥
It is starting to look like it... yes
Long Stray Kids 2023 guide next pls
yes that is the next one :)
Thanks for reacting to Stray Kids :)
Thank YOU!
I subscribed from literally the first video i watch from you..that’s how you know how much I enjoyed watching
Thank you. I really appreciate that. One of the OG Neons....
Fun fact - Stray Kids are huge fans of Dreamcatcher and Bangchan watches and sings along to their MVs in some of his live videos. ❤
I only listened to Dreamcatcher for the longest time and was not really interested in other kpop groups until I saw Stray Kids. Now they are exclusively the only two kpop groups I listen to. 😂
So excited to go on the Stray Kids journey with you.
That is great info! Who could not love Jiu and her ladies. Siyeon went ginger in their lates vid... wow :)
Thanks for being here!
