  • Every student has had to send their professor an email at some point in time begging for a grade change! This video is the trick to getting some points/extra credit added to your final grade by your professor. Even though this trick has proven to be 99% effective, it always is a bonus to be consistent in working hard so hopefully you get some final grades that will make you excited for your parents to see your report card!

Yay I knew I liked you. you're an AKA! My mom is one. I'm 17 and a freshman in college and I'm trying to convince my History professor to change my grade. I worked really hard and I don't think I deserved the grade I got. This professor was the only one preventing me from having all A's.

Hahaha! That's awesome to here moms a Soror! If you have pretty solid evidence to prove the teacher was unfair don't be afraid to appeal to your dean for a grade change! I used to go over my teachers heads all the time..

Hay Girl Hay! I hate hearing that things got rough, but I am extremely extremely proud of you for not letting those minor setbacks stop your show. Def needed that inspiration from you today! Keep me posted on how things go with getting back into classes (especially if you need have any questions on accommodations) Much love!

College Teacher here. What you say about showing effort the entire semester before going to ask for a grade to be raised is dead on. If I see a student that is putting forth the effort, then I will be willing to work with them (either offering extra credit or rounding up a grade). If there is no extra effort shown by the student then I give them the exact point grade they earned. That being said, I will NEVER give a student a grade they have not earned (either through effort or points on assignments). Thank you for your hard work and being a great voice for students to put forth effort to improve themselves along with their grades.

Just don't care about your grade. Just care about the learning.
