How does Gyomei recognise Kaigaku if... he's.... never...seen...him??
Edit: guys, the point is that Gyomei has been blind for a very long time (even since he did look after all those kids (including Kaigaku)).
He doesn't know what Kaigaku looks like. Therefore, if he was to gain sight and only see Kaigaku's appearance (no voice etc.) he wouldn't know it was him.
The timestamp where Kaigaku is recognised is 11:45 . But, there's no indication it's Kaigaku orher than appearance.
