I think its more likely they are the old goddesses from twilight princess, the names are kinda the first hint at that, din and dinraal, farore and farosh, nayru and naydra, i doubt its a coincidence. Idk some parts make sense like if you think about the triforce theres almost no talk about it in either games but at the end of breathe of the wild it appears in zeldas hand when you kill blight ganon. Which makes sense the goddesses attributed to the triforce are dragons and have probably been those dragons for a long time, they probably did it during a time when the triforce was in danger of being destroyed (kinda like what happened in lorule if you ever played a link between worlds) and in order to stop that they made themselves immortal beings so that it could never be destroyed. Another thing is each of those dragons are tied to a specific spring each one being either power wisdom or courage, again just like the original 3 goddesses whos power of the triforce coincidence with each of those attributes. Idk tears of the kingdom has given a lot of insight while also giving non at all its weird
That’s what I was thinking as well ! Maybe not sages in previous hyrule history as you said, because hyrule didn’t exist before Rauru created it with Sonia, but in old Zonai history maybe yeah ! It seems likely at least. I also like how you kept the theory somehow spoiler free ✨
Glad to hear others were thinking the same thing. And yeah, I tried to keep it spoiler free as much as possible given the topic. Thanks a lot for watching! Much appreciated.
I have a theory, so in a vision (memory?) that you get from a dragon tear it's explained how to become a dragon and in a different one we see Zelda becoming a dragon to help Link. So what if the three dragons we see in breath of the wild had to do something similer? My theory is they were all once a member of one of the four kinds of people we see ( zora Goran etc ) and had to swallow a secret stone, Dinraal once could have been a Goron and he flies a round that area, Farosh could have once been a Gorudo as he flies around the desert, and the ice dragon ( I don't know the name the name ) could have been a rito or a zora. ( as ice is frozen water ) this is what I believe and not a fact though it's not out of the realm of possiblity.
Your channel keeps growing man! Keep it up 🔥🔥
Thanks a lot man.
I mostly thought these were secret stone holders who transformed into dragons to protect their land (eldin, lanayru and faron) but dirnaal is fire elemental and there is already a fire sage and they won't most likely have 2 fire secret stones? Because to transform you need to swallow the secret stone and we already see a fire secret stone that yunobo's ancestor wore. This also counts for farosh. And although they resemble zonai their powers are mostly related to their race
I think a secret stone simplify amplifies the powers the owner already possesses. You don’t need a specific one, like for example if Tulin picked up the secret stone in the fire temple for some reason, it wouldn’t give him fire powers it would still just amplify his wind abilities.
always mesmerized when I discover these dragons flying around especially in the depths
I know right?! Me too.
Kool I liked the theory
Thanks a lot! I really appreciate hearing that.
I think so too!!
And you forgot to mention how many dragon statues there are in the Zonai ruins.
You're right! I didn't think about that. Dragons are depicted several times throughout the Zonai ruins.
