- A quick video showing the flippers and the slingshots at work.
Unfortunately my camera didn't want to record audio this time, but I'll fix that in upcoming videos!

This is so cool. Too bad we may never see it finished. I hope the creator is doing alright after so many years.
My god sir. You need to finish this! I have been dreaming about this kind of thing since grade school!
Did you ever fnish this? The gravity well could be done possibly with an electromagnet on gearing under the play field.
4 years ago is this now finished
looks like no :(
@@kpoary5307 I'm sorry to hear that;
But can you provide a source for this? Because I thought that this has always been the same person:

I vaguely recall seeing a comment/rumor that this project was stored/lost with the rest of their stuff when they moved (after graduating?). The human dropped out of public view. (About the time that the media attention picked up, February 2012.) but the fursona looks to have been continuous since 2006.

10 yers ago so no
I love the replica concept. It's so beautiful.
Ever since being a 4 year old playing this, I've always wanted to see a 3d pinball space cadet machine. This shall be finished
Hey man we're still waiting for this
man! please finish this! it looks amazing
Cool build! I'm thinking of building a machine like this and realised the amount of work that goes into it. Respect!
It would've been great to see this continued!
How'd you make those bouncing bumpers? They act just like the actual game does!
I see that this comment is 2 years old, but just in case it may be of help to anyone: The bumpers look like they could be rubber bands.
In case anyone is still curious about this. It looks to me that there are 2 limit switches on either side of a Solenoid. When the ball collides with the rubber ring it trips one of the limit switches and the solenoid is activated.
magic
James is right, if anyone's curious an image search for "pinball slingshot assembly" will show you the mechanism under the playfield
More people need to know about this
Ya pasaron años y nunca se sabrá si lo termino .
So did this ever get finished by If not I might as well make one
Well. We're waiting
Just imagine adding an electronic circuit with sensors and speakers to make that game play the original sound of the Windows Game, that would be epic
That looks so cool! When will it be finished?
AWESOME! When is this gonna be done? Will there sounds and everything from the game?
Please good man. Finish the machine and upload a video with the completed pinball
Wow, that looks cool.
Wow. Pretty good this paper table pinball. Without lights feels ok to me.
Really awesome! I actually plan on building my own as well. I just didn't know someone already thought of it a decade ago. If you're still active, can you tell us where the project ended up?
A OLD WINDOWS GAME COMING TO REALITY!!!!!This day would be the best day of the century if someone build the Space Cadet, bring many units to many arcades around the globe and other arcade machines companies fall to the pit…I wanna be the first player to see this!!!!!
I'm already working on an HD Rework on the Theme Song
Meow. nice.
I've been looking for a complete set of game rules, so that I would not need to reverse them myself, (or work out a compatible set from the documentation...or gameplay.). Can you offer these?
+LynxSnowCat Are you looking for the rules of the video game with the same name? 3D Pinball is the same game as Full Tilt! Pinball; except for some minor tweaks to things like how to get extra balls, etc...
There are complete instructions in the help files of Full Tilt! Pinball; complete with how many points each target is, all missions outlined and so on. The only thing you would need to reverse engineer would be things like ball physics, etc...
Unfortunately, the help files in the old-school Windows .hlp-format, so you need to download a third party program to view it.
thats awesome
Did you ever finish this
Subscribing just for this. Do you have a page about this project?
He does have a page for this. It's spacecadetpinball.wordpress.com . Unfortunately, it looks like an abandoned project...
This looks amazing! Did you finish it?
Nice design I like it
Is there sound effects?

Gray_FoxRJ Not quite yet

Cool
Progress?
i have no idea how someone could make the gravity mode works in a real table o-O
+Johnny Deep Eddy currents
+Anderson Junior Using a leafblower to 'pull' the ball.
magnets
Magnets?

So, how's it going?
Nostalgia. Bomb
