    I am getting familiar with Elicit and I love its tools for identifying and gathering relevant literature. The thing we must not forget is that it should not be used as a substitute for a researcher reading and thinking. :-) I am a very slow reader, but reading and processing articles is an essential piece of research and writing.

      It is a tool that helps you to save time, gaining a minimum knowledge you can use then to read the papers. And not on the way round. HUE TIME saved. And you can increase your knowledge because the time of an old-classic research ( Scholar...) is invested in reading paper= more knowledge and MORE REFERENCES, real ones.

    Could I use Elicit for Literature Review? I apologize if it's an ignorant question. If it's possible, could you make a video on how to use Elicit for that purpose?

    • @tausifmulla
      @tausifmulla Год назад +9

      You can do that with Elicit. The easiest way would be STAR relevant articles (let's say 25) and then add the filter Key Takeaway. Then export it to CSV file.
      Once you have the key takeaways and research gaps you can write your literature review.

    What is the TSPSI method? Topic, State of the art, Problem are covered, but may I ask for the other components?

    • @kwameporterrobinson
      @kwameporterrobinson Год назад +1

      Taking a wild guess here, because I also would like to know: TSPSI - Topic, State of the art, Problem (w SoTA), Solution, Innovation.
      Here Solution is meat of the research proposal, for example, the research question, research design, and Innovation explicitly highlights how and why the design is novel, and why you should be the one to do it.
      @sahanpm @pablobonilla1046 we would love to have more clarity

      Don;t agree. In my case if i have read a summary and more than one, i have already get confidence and knowledge. Then it is easier to skim-read the paper.
