Mad Owner - "NO WAY YOU EAT THIS" w/Esttik, Da Garbage Disposal

- The Day after we watch Ricardo "CorbucciEats" set the record at Stacks and Yolks, Esttik, Da Garbage Disposal and I try to set a new record. However the owner didn't seem really happy to see us and made us a SUPERSIZED version of the challenge in an attempt not to give away 3 meals. In one of the hardest challenges of my eating career, we try to overcome a mountain of dry pancakes.
Please see the other eaters versions of this video as we all have our own take on how the challenge should be edited. To be honest, I would assume that their videos are all a lot more fancy than mine and do not have my silly, old man voice overs in them. Usually restaurants love to see us record in their store. This was not the case this time. The owner insisted on the pancakes being made as large as possible. One of the employees clearly communicated that to us and was embarrassed that it happened as that person enjoyed watching Ricardo the day before we filmed. All good.
Normalmente os restaurantes adoram nos ver gravando em sua loja. Este não foi o caso desta vez. O proprietário insistiu que as panquecas fossem feitas o maior possível. Um dos funcionários nos comunicou isso claramente e ficou constrangido com o que aconteceu, pois aquela pessoa gostou de assistir Ricardo um dia antes de filmarmos. Tudo certo.
Por lo general, a los restaurantes les encanta vernos grabar en su tienda. Este no fue el caso esta vez. El propietario insistió en que los panqueques se hicieran lo más grandes posible. Uno de los empleados nos lo comunicó claramente y se avergonzó de que sucediera, ya que esa persona disfrutaba viendo a Ricardo el día antes de la filmación. Todo está bien.

That had to be tough. Shame on the owners for doing that. It was pretty hard to watch after 35 minute mark. Could tell you was pushing to get through it. Way to get it done. Always cool to see you with the other eaters. Was fun to watch. Great win and video
I can't imagine eating a pancake without a single drop of syrup, especially ones that thick. I wish you guys would've soaked them with it. Respect to y'all regardless, harsh situation.

I've probably viewed 400-500 food challenges on u tube. This was easily the most brutal and clearly crooked I've ever seen.Absolutely cant believe your performance!!!
WOW BOB!!! I just ate pancakes from our favorite pancake restaurant yesterday and they were fairly big. But one of those pancakes is 4 of my pancakes. Those were totally ridiculous!! Great job powering through those!!!

Colocaram mais fermento e mais farinha na massa deles . Eu vi o desafio do Corbucci e as panquecas estavam menos massivas e tinha menos fermento!! Fizeram isso uma vez com o Corbucci numa pizzaria aqui no Brasil!! Ele foi acompanhado de um amigo e a dona da pizzaria trapace0u , ela disse que a massa havia sido aberta muito antes do desafio e a havia crescido , mas o peso era o mesmo. Mentira dela!! Ricardo não venceu o desafio de completar a pizza gigante em 23 minutos , mas comeu tudo !! Enfim ... Os donos do estabelecimento não aceitam perder!! Parabéns Bob e seus amigos 👊🍀❤

I looked at Ricardo's video and his stack of pancakes looks about 3 to 3 and a half inches shorter.
Even though pancake batter is cheap enough to make, im sure this ended up costing him more money in the end then just making the normal challenge
right, it actually cost more and we took up tables for at least an extra 30 minutes

Well thank you for the kind words. I am not sure I am in the Top 5, or even the Top 500 but it is nice to here. I think Lisa Salters from my year is light years ahead of me and probably a Top 5 for sure. I have never thought about it though, but surely there are many, many more above me.

I have lived in Vegas for a very long time (too long). Going out for breakfast is something I truly enjoy. After seeing this sabotage of your challenge, I will NEVER go to this establishment and will tell all my friend about this so they won't go either. I will encourage them to tell their friends and to watch this video and decide for themselves. Fair is fair. This WASN'T fair. Apologies from Vegas. This is an embarrassment.

The way I see it, the owner just screwed himself out of getting more business. He doesn't realize how many people actually watch each one of you do these challenges. Your fans will be the ones to spread the word about OWNERS THAT CHEAT and he'll start losing his business. It's clearly a place I would avoid if I'm ever in that area in the future. CHEATERS NEVER PROSPER!! This owner has been exposed and will suffer from it in the near future. CHEATING IS BAD FOR BUSINESS!!!

yes Ricardo was able to fold his in half twice. so he was eating 4 layers at once. Most times I was eating one layer. All good

As an eng/pt speaker, I think is really nice of you to type in both pt and eng. I checked your subtitles and eventhough they r taged as PT, they r actually in spanish (and only the beginning). With the current value of Real u should definitely look after a br translator, it will be cheap for u as USD > BRL, and based on your video size it can be done very quick and cheap. U already have a good br fan base, worthy to invest on it. Probably someone would ask less then 10 USD.

Probably the only thing worse that 10 lbs of pancakes is 10 lbs of clay or PlayDoh, and even that prob not by much since it probably had the same consistency once it was chewed.
I get improving the challenge to make it competitive, but sabotaging it gives them a bad name.

These owners do that cuz they think there being cheated because they find out your Pro Eaters but they fail to see the tremendous upside to turning it into a great chance to have a positive commercial done on social media with huge a following for the cost of the food.
This restaurant and its owner just earned it some free publicity....of the negative kind. Not must for dirty dogging you guys but for the obvious dry a$$ pancakes they serve. Congrats on beating the challenge!!

I wish I could unlike this just to like it a few more times. The ultimate FU is doing what you did…just destroy it under the challenge limit. Also, some establishments will make it difficult to win, even if they contest and say they don’t. They see it differently business wise…when instead they should see it as publicly and take that into consideration.

Wow I love pancakes but I just got finished watching Ricardo's video his pancakes🥞 two of his pancakes were one of yours they screwed you guys. You and other professional and competitive eaters try to be polite and to praise and promote the restaurant, and it’s normally a fun experience to watch a food challenge. It’s a shame that the owner had a bit of a bad attitude.
