Jio started lowering price when other companies like idea and vodafone were sky high in terms of prices. If you think 1GB per day (30gb a month) for 249 rupees is expensive, Then think about this, I was in college during 2012-2013 and I was paying 200-300 rupees for 2 GB for whole month. That is approximately 2500-3000 rupees for a year just to get 24gb of data for whole year. I come from era where I used to turn on internet when it's really needed, for example sending a WhatsApp message. And then, jio launched its services and whole game changed.
