I have a feeling it’s BS, just based on what Todd has said about remakes in the past. Also the rumours have it being done in Unreal Engine 5 which doesn’t make sense for Bethesda (though would look great)
UE5 would really struggle with a big map and the systems at play. So I doubt that part. We don't know really what Todd is working on. It'll be years before elder scrolls 6 and starfield is starfield. If they're not doing a remake/remaster they should be. Need something to fill the gap, because starfield dlc ain't gonna work
