I've never seen a man so politely and cordially beg for his own death sentence.
FK HIM LIFE NO PARROLL UR GOING TO POPULATION ; THAT WOULD BE JUSTICE !!!
Yes to this
@coffinperson I don't agree, he wanted it to seem like he had some sort of control over this, he already knew he was going to get the death penalty. That's coming from someone who doesn't believe in the death penalty but sees exactly what he's doing there.
Imo he knew what was coming and just wanted to get it over with asap. Instead of prolonging any fear/anxiety the sentencing would've give if done in a regular lengthy fashion.
You've watched a lot of men beg to die?

He really did take the power out of the judges words. That was a perfect display of true narcissism. No apology, no remorse, not a single kind word to the families he destroyed. He just made it all about him, and the families have to walk away knowing that the killer got everything he wanted. How cruel. I’ve never seen anything quite like that.
I don't really need to a sworn admission of defeat from the defeated in any situation. For me, victory does not lie in the hands of the vanquished to dispense as they please. So when you're sitting there in shackles, looked at as garbage by all, and condemned by the state to death, that's what speaks. Not his empty bluster and bravado. The scoreboard speaks. Not the guy walking off saying "Oh, yeah, this was exactly what I wanted to see happen, losing this game 200-0."
The thing is once you die you are free from everything. As peaceful as before you existed.
@@joem5762thing is you dont know that for sure. Nobody truly knows what happens when we die, the only way we will know is when we die. So its best to just have an open mind to all possibilities cause anything is possible.
@@joem5762 I agree. He doesn't deserve anything good for eternity.
Prior to abolition in the UK the sentence of death was usually carried out within a month of sentencing. And when the sentence was carried out there was no fuss or fanfare, no public or press witnesses and no last words. The executioner entered the condemned’s holding cell, pinioned him and marched him to an adjacent room where he was place on the trap door, noose over his head and down he went. Often times the entire process took less than 10 seconds. This really was swift justice and as humane as it could ever be.
Compare this to the media circus that judicial executions have become in the US.
The real victims of the death penalty are those that are involved in carrying it out.

What he did was a typical narcissistic psych strategy. He thanked the people responsible for condemning him, claiming he approved of and appreciated their actions. He asked for a sentence he KNEW he was getting, and made sure to explain how he is MUCH better off with it. This takes away some degree of satisfaction from both the Prosecutor and Judge, as they are forced to play into the verbal construct he created and give him what he wants. He couldn't even let the harsh "let God have mercy on your soul" thing go without challenging it. My soul is fine, I don't need your mercy, you've given me an upgraded housing situation and I thank you for it. You have helped ME. No mention of the victims, their family, empathy or remorse. Nope. @@patrickn.6226 No doubt anyone would be in a case like this, esp. after hearing e.g. victims statements and testimony.
@@alecjones4676 I definitely understand your point, however a judge should not be involved that emotionally. He clearly got influenced intensely by the speech.
@@patrickn.6226 I mean it's certainly important for judges to be unbiased and unprejudiced in their decisions, but they are also understandably and empathetically human (the good ones at least), while this defendant is very plainly an unrepentant monster. I just don't understand how anybody could fault a judge for expressing very understandable outrage over what this man did, along with his blase attitude regarding his actions.
That was gross. That was also a fairly weak verbal sentencing for what he did.
He is like a kid that fails in an argument saying "I don´t care I didn´t even want that toy, or stay up late etc.."
This is one of the most peaceful courteous courtroom scenes I have ever seen especially considering the severity of the charges and the sentence
IKR!
This thinking is becoming more and more prevalent. It’s someone who believes their purpose on earth was predetermined, a pattern of belief that follows Buddhist/Hindu/Spiritual teachings of karma and dharma. I don’t know what drove this guy to murder but I actually believe if this man had a re-do at life he wouldn’t do it again. He has nothing to look forward to now but his own death. There’s the possibility he will be dealt a much better hand at life if reincarnation or the transmutation of souls exist.
Why did he sign a notice of appeal if he wanted a death sentence?
@@CJDcow yeah that made me scratch my head
The meaninglessness of present Western existence.
I love that the judge gave the death sentence in Italian, too. Managgia...
His conscience must bother him. Taking a life and going on must be unbearable.
Lol the defendant really took the wind out of the sails of this judge’s big dramatic sentencing speech.
The Court sure gave him alot more mercy and understanding that the guilty person EVER gave his victim!
Judge: I sentence you to Death
Lorenzon: Thank you
I love how the judge is all firm and authoritarian in his voice to tell the man he deserves the death penalty, bla bla bla.. and the killer is like, thank you! let's go!"
I don't know how I would feel if a convicted killer says "thank you" to me. It would mean absolutely nothing and probably even makes my skin crawl.
It would sound great answer to me even I don't wish death for anybody. I don't actually believe that he really wanted to die.
I would just say "it was my absolute pleasure putting you down". I mean, its not everyday a killer thanks you for what you do so I wouldn't not like it!
What a horrible man!!!!
Yes...obviously turned to the dark side some years ago. Prior to the crimes he committed, I sang in the same choir as Steven, and you would have NEVER guessed he would have done anything like he did then. I was even a guest in his Home once for a party...nicest guy you'd ever want to be around...until this. I moved to Boston from Tampa before the murders took place, so I, of course, was STUNNED to hear of them.
Probably a born psychopath: abnormal brain, manipulative/charismatic, extremely selfish, and with a reputation of 'looking normal' (until it's too late).
But this guy is nothing as compared to Skylar Deleons who is not executed yet. In fact our tax dollars are being used for him!
Judges should never have toys on their desks... It is disgusting. This is a court, not a f... hobby room. Fire that child.
😂
It is sad that he thinks he is coming back to this world after death
What a creep, he thinks hes being slick. Sickening.
Nah, he’s cuckoo
He literally said “I’ve got better things to do” than wait 10-15 years for his death sentence to be carried out. Wow! If that’s not crazy…
And “my soul is fine thank you” oh my god..
@@aliceydu gives me major creep feelings. If energy never dies, and we do get reincarnated Please god don’t let him come back as anything but a pole cat 🦨
This guy wasn’t politely asking for anything. He was showing the victim’s mothers that he wanted what he knew he was getting. The Judge was smart in seeing straight through it.
Judge saw nothing, homeboy got want he wanted good for him.
The absolute definition of 'you won't best me...
"We all have a death sentence" 💀
It’s insanely weird looking at a man ask for death like this. Humans can be really sad and their actions
The sad thing is.. this man really meant every.. word.. he.. said! 🙏
Not really, if he actually believes he will be reborn as a human then his actions make sense.
Not really. His choice is between having better accommodations and probably (if he even lives that long) being executed when he's 70/75. Versus worse conditions and probably dying in the same amount of time anyway. It's actually a great choice, as crazy as he is.
@@user-nh3gu1ge3d well we will find the answer to that very soon. If he doesn’t appeal the sentence then he could be executed as soon as 6 months. If he does appeal they could immediately commute his sentence back down to life. I’d he really wants to die like he claims he does then he won’t appeal and he will be gone this time next year
Death penalty is better than waiting to die
Murderer: "I want the death sentence because its much more comfortable and i get a private cell"
Judge: "I grant you the death penalty and by the way your execution is scheduled for next Tuesday."
Murderer: "Eh, judge i've had a rethink..."
"The sentence will be carried out by a shovel-wielding Stevie Wonder..."
I want the death penalty. And I've already prepared an appeal against the death penalty.
@@cockpiss9260"I just callled... to saaay.... my aim sucks"
CUS IT'S SMART, HE KNOWS DEATH ROW INMATES DON'T GET EXECUTED RIGHT AWAY, CAN TAKE A DECADE OR LONGER TO EXECUTE HIM, AND ONCE HE FILES THE APPEAL, EVEN LONGER, HE ASKED FOR DEATH ROW BECAUSE HE GETS A CELL FOR HIMSELF AND TREATED BETTER THERE THAN IN GENERAL POPULATION, HE'S OLD ALREADY AND WANTS TO LIVE IN PEACE WHILE INCARCERATED
@@verabolton Don't want to be leaving that comfy cell too quickly...
"Already fired a notice of appeal" lol
*From one Italian to another, "You'll sleep with the fishes."*
He's a lunatic but a very polite one :)
I'd much rather a sane person whose manners are disgusting.
He is realistic.
Polite to get what he wants, a death sentence for private cell to be comfortable while simultaneously robbing the victims family vengeful closure. He would gladly dismember everyone in that court room and your family given the opportunity.
Never thought I’d see an convicted murder politely ask for the death penalty.
Ok mommy
That's not "politeness" it's grandstanding from a narcissist and sociopath
This guy is on another level talking about the next life
I mean, same could be said for people that believe that they are going to heaven...
@@Lakota828 "nuh uhhhh that's different"
Best judge. Love when his cases are covered.
He’s nice and stern
What? A prisoner who wants death so he's not stuck in a cell and can pass on to his idea of paradise, us given exactly that and you think this judge did a good job by granting that? This is a time where the judge should have denied the request and let him rott
This judge presided over Trevor Summers case. It was an attempted murder plus several other charges. The victim was the ex wife.
@@jjdelany8130 Did you miss the part of the description that stated he handed down the death penalty based on the wishes of the victims' mother?
@@jjdelany8130 Hopefully he will have many years on death row before his wish is granted.
Judge gave him the easy way out by giving him what he wanted. He gets to be comfy for more years and he knew that. Probably knows he'll be gone before 20 years of appeal end
He thought he was gonna use the ol switch a roo , Reverse Psychology. Faillll 😂😂😂
Wow.. This guy is something else… Strange world … SMH 😮
He took the papers of his sentence like he bought a new car and moves out like a pleased customer. - crazy.
The level of narcissism 😖
If his wish was to get the death penalty, how come he had already prepared his 30-day appeal documents?
That’s when you give them life without parole.
The arrogance of this demon is unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!! Buddy you will meet your maker and judgment will be held! My heart to the families!
he is greatly confused as to what will happen after he is put to death, we are eternal beings and the LORD GOD will judge this person and send him to eternal torment. He thinks he'll come back for another go round as another person...what a fool!
@@deborah3912 exactly! How can he be soooo sure reincarnation is real? I just can't with this 🤦🏼♀️
@Jessica it's no different than believing in a sky God that can send you to eternal torment.
He's read the chapters of life all wrong if he believes he will be reincarnated after his death. It is appointed for man to die once and after which the judgement. Begging the judge to give him the death penalty was him attempting to control the narrative of what he feared all along. I'm not from the US and don't believe in the death penalty but an eternity of torment outside of the presence of God is a punishment worse than death itself. God help us all.
