There is no contact with other prisoners, family or friends, no phone access and no internet. No TV and the lights in the cell are kept constantly on. He has an exercise area off his cell which he is moved to for 30 minutes a day. He never sees a warder nor an opportunity to talk with anyone. There is no physical contact. His meals are in an alcove behind a steel door. He has 20 minutes to eat, three times a day. Its brutal and prisoners usually go insane within ten years. Only one such prisoner has made it to 30 years, Ivan Milat. But he was insane anyway. A death sentence is a gift, not a punishment.

For the ones where there is no doubt that they did the crime, absolutely. But, there have been people let out of death row for a crime they didn’t commit. It’s rare, but still happens. Idk how someone gets sentenced to death when they’re innocent, since the death penalty should only be when you’re 100% certain they’re guilty. The justice system is an odd duck.

Apparently he's claimed he's with a certain gang, of which he is not. That nazi symbol on his face is him trying to claim affiliation with that gang. There are other things also that put a target on his back. If he's on death row, he'll be all by himself in a cell, which means no contact with GenPop. So there's that. Of course, things "happen".

We do not execute offenders here in Australia. We have a better punishment. Its called "harsh regime in isolation" for the life of the convicted. Its putting a prisoner in a contcete box of a cell for 23.5 hours out of 24. The prisoner stays there until he dies. There is no contact with other prisoners, family or friends, no phone access and no internet. No TV and the lights in the cell are kept constantly on. He has an exercise area off his cell which he is moved to for 30 minutes a day. He never sees a warder nor an opportunity to talk with anyone. There is no physical contact. His meals are in an alcove behind a steel door. He has 20 minutes to eat, three times a day. Its brutal and prisoners usually go insane within ten years. Only one such prisoner has made it to 30 years, Ivan Milat. But he was insane anyway. A death sentence is a gift, not a punishment.
