Brilliant!! You are a fantastic teacher. I've been collecting wool sweaters and felting them for years. But wasn't sure how to turn them into things. Well, I could but I wanted them to look professional and that's exactly what you do....and did. Keep up the great work! I'm hooked!

Can you use a serger instead of the zigzag, or will it not lay correctly

I also love making stuff from old sweaters! Just wondering, which BabyLock machine are you using and how do you like it? Thanks!

I have the Babylock verve model. I do like it but I really don't need a machine that has all the embroidery settings. I got this model because of a good deal I got on it. I think I would prefer the Brilliant model. Babylock has a big variety on machines. It just depends on your needs and budget. I may trade it in some day, but for now, it is a good machine. I also have a Pfaff machine that has been a work horse and I do like it as well. Bernina is also a good machine. It' s nice to try out a machine before you buy. I hope that was helpful.

@@JanHowell Thanks for the info. I have a Brother Simplicity that is basically the same as the Brilliant except a hair smaller and different graphics but they have the same manual. Mine is no longer made, but it's a great machine with tons of features. You probably know that BabyLock and Brother are mostly made in the same factory. I read that the owners are brothers!! Anyway, the Verve looks like a nice machine and maybe you will make some use of the embroidery in the future. Happy sewing and thanks for all your videos!
