Guitar straps are crucial for comfort and stability while playing. Wide, padded strap for heavier guitars helps to avoid discomfort. Thanks for sharing, Lauren! - Lipika - Team Evan Carmichael
Your videos are so simple and very explanatory . I'm a beginner and I started this month and I'm making good progress because of your videos Thank you so much Lauren 🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
I finally feel more comfortable with my dreadnought even as a avg size man. However I started to try the classical position with my classical and it was so comfy I decided to get a strap for my acoustic so this video is very heplful
@@LaurenBateman always 🥰 and im gonna learn horse with no name even if I have to practice non stop you’d think a two chord song would be easier it’s all in the strumming I guess 🤔🎸
Thank you Lauren. Thank you for affirming 2 things : have an affinity for acoustic guitars for past 50 years or so. Just to diversify my skills got Ibanez electric, well set up, pretty...... Etc but the darn thing is just too heavy because I have lower back issue. That aside what a difference : like driving a powersteering after decades of driving a car without one, the ease of bends and beauty of gracious slides. One can metaphorically, make the guitar speak, sing, cry etc. I know I digress a little. Abject apology. Warm regards Sunny South Africa
@@johnkochen7264 not on my mind. Nope. U gone there. Strapped. Guitar is he weapon 💪🏼. She’s is an amazing teacher for me. Patient for my slow brain to follow along. I really appreciate her.
I know you probably do not do requests..but theres a song I'm struggling with the strumming.. It's a great song and easy chords D G A and C but the strumming I can't get right....Johnny Nash "I Can See Clearly Now" Id bet your study's would enjoy it as well
How is your strap fastened on the fret side? Is there an attachment for a strap? I had a cheap Nylon one and looped it up by the tuners (I thing you showed one similar in the video). I was actually hoping you would show how the strap connects properly 😂
Hey, now that I've changed my leather strap to how it is in this video, it's way way more comfortable and closer to my body. But now I can't see the strings when I look down at the guitar like this 👀. So now I have to guess? It feels like I'm blindfolded now. I've only had the guitar a week.
You can have a second peg installed or use a bit of string to loop through the strap and around the neck off the guitar. Google images to see or pop into a guitar store and they will help you out.
Thanks for watching! Use a String or Strap Tie at the Headstock. Slip the string under the strings (just above the nut, where the headstock meets the neck). Tie the string securely to one end of your strap. Attach the other end of the strap to the button at the bottom of the guitar.

I love your guitar strap in this video. Any chance of a link so I can purchase it?
You would have to reach out to Carlino Guitars in Medford, MA. He makes them. ☺️
Thanks Lauren
Super Woman is Strapped. 🎸
I know the next thing on your mind is a joke with “strap-on” but let’s not go there.

Yes I have a button on the underside where the fretboard connects to the guitar.

To be on the safe side it is best to use strap locks
If you ever perform, practice while standing as much as possible. I decided to just always sit. No performances in my future.

Discuss a strap when you have only one peg...

A bit long winded Lauren.
4 minutes is a short video for me!
