Great job with the review! I actually watched this video wondering how I’ve never seen this channel til I realized it’s a growing channel. Keep it up, can’t wait for more
I bought one as an experiment expecting to sell it after one range trip. I couldn’t have been more wrong. While I couldn’t tell you exactly what it is about it but on all the basic drills I’m 20% faster and more accurate.
Coming from a guy who hates the hump on OEM, I’ve tried them all. Most change the mag angle (like you pointed out. This makes it larger. In the end, I settled on the GripFix. It removes the hump and changes the angle without adding to the grip circumference. OEM 100%
Ive probably seen every OZ9 review on youtube. Its unfortunate you can tell who was given their OZ9 for free, or were sponsored to say only nice things. Good job with the review. Its unfortunate that the reliability is always in question when it comes to Zev parts. Triggers, springs, etc. In many of their product descriptions they say "for competition use only", obviously for light primer strikes which is just as bad as jamming. Funny how apex and agency dont need those disclaimers.... Anyway, I love my zev Orion slide for my g17, and their RMR cuts are the best. But I put glock OEM parts in the slide because I'm not that big of a moron.
Yeah, like I said in the review I really like the direction they are going but I had a couple issues... funny enough I think other companies will start to build Custom Zevs to fix the issues and the circle will be complete 😂😂😂
@@defconcreative thanks for getting back to me. I'd be fine with a heavier trigger if it means a higher degree of reliability. Do you happen to know if a stock glock striker assembly would fit and fix it?
Great review and gun looks interesting. If you like the 1911 grip angle and want a slim grip try Boresight Solutions. I have a Gen 5 glock 19 Ben did for me and it’s fabulous! The level 2 package is the way to go to get a slim grip and 1911 angle. Ben was the first to begin stippling glocks and boy did segment take off.
They had a Zev OZ9 at the gun store where I bought my CZ Shadow 2 a couple days ago. The Zev cost $300 more than the CZ I got. I'm admittedly not a fan of striker fired pistols, but I dry fired the Zev, and now I'm even less of a fan of striker fired. The trigger pull seemed long and heavy, and the guy working there thought so too, and he said he likes striker fired. It might have just been a fluke, or the fact that we both had just dry fired the CZ Tactical Sports Orange might have affected it too. I can't imagine the more expensive Wilson Combat EDC9 or Stacatto 2011 triggers could be better than that TSO.
@@defconcreative right on I've only tried a few different guns, but I've always preferred hammer fired. I think the best triggers I've dry fired are a Battle Arms Development AR trigger that's supposed to be about 2 lb, and the CZ TSO that was supposed to be about 1.5 lb. I wonder how a 2011 trigger compares to the TSO. The best triggers I've actually gotten to shoot are probably my CZ Shadow 2 and AR with a Timney 3 lb drop in trigger. I also got to dry fire a Beretta 92X Performance with a Langdon Tactical trigger job at a steel match recently, and I was shocked at how light it was, and that still has the firing pin block too! Sorry for rambling. Have a good one!

Thanks! I just started a couple months ago for kicks and giggles... I think I’ll keep doin it!

Been waiting for this! Eyeballing these guns for a while now.
It’s got a lot of good things going for it... make sure you get your hands on one before you buy to make sure it feels right
Outstanding review! Very refreshing to find somebody review a gun with complete honesty.
I take after george Washington and Cannot tell a lie!
That flinch at 25 seconds.. you’re human after all. Haha excellent upload dude
Yeah I though about editing it out but that would be lame.... I was riding the struggle bus that day...just ask my camera guy

Great review, I've seen a bunch on this gun and this was the most interesting to me. Cheers
Thanks man... It’s definitely worth testing before buying...
My ZEV OZ9 is an excellent pistol, and with the RMR, it is also the easiest pistol I have ever seen to shoot accurately.
Always excited when your videos pop up!
Noice
There are OZ9c pistols that are going for $2,235.00. They have a 1:14 twist and interesting grips.
6:35 you realize the Glock angle helps with controlling the recoil because it forces you to lock your wrist.
Great review! I'd be interested in your opinion of the shadow systems
I did it also a few months back… the shadow is the only Glock copy I’d personally own
Well crafted honest review! 👍
Thank you!
Another great review bro!
Thanks man!!
You should try a shadow systems mr920 elite or the mr920 L
Yeah I really want to
How much was the reman? Like $2 a round
Close.... but it worked in everything else EVEN A KIMBER
I had zero clue how Glock named their guns and I was very confused. Thank you for that clarification!
It’s kinda cool info to have.. still is ZERO help when figuring out what gun is what 😂😂😂

Thank you... check out @1911syndicate... they are doing some awesome stuff
@@defconcreative following them already! I like your video formats and information. No BS
Any way to fix the light primer strikes? I'm not as familiar with handguns, but I'd like to try one of these despite the red flags.
You have to have a heavier spring but then that makes your trigger heavier. I got rid of this right after the video because of the issues I had

After that Patton ended like the 1911 it became the 2011 for glocks , a enhanced approach to an already proven system.
Yup...
So which one you pick between your Fowler 19 and the Zev OZ9c?
Fowler
I also focus on the bottom end first…need to make sure my grip is filled. Also: butts.
Does the SRO co-witness with the stock sights?
Nope

Hmmmmm that’s interesting... I wonder how he gets the grip angle to work 🤔🤔
that gun is meant for 24 grain ammo i believe.

No… the DA/SA is way better… and the SA of a 2011 even better still. There’s only so much you can do on a striker fired gun
