The Argentine Mauser is among the prettiest and best of the Mausers. I love the crest they have and the look of the metal in the white. That 7.65x53mm is nice, ballistically similar to a British .303 and Japanese 7.7x58mm. Argentines go for nearly as much as German Mausers these days so I don't own one yet. I'm looking to get one of their 1891 Cavalry Carbines. I already have an M1895 Spanish cavalry carbine in 7x57mm and it's funnily enough the most accurate rifle I have in my entire collection. Even more so than my Swiss K11 and Swedish M96/38.
I just love the sound of pulling the bolt back to shoot another round on bolt action rifles, increases my testosterone by 300%, shame I can't even get a gun in Australia, it's hard to get even a hunting rifle.
Nice, my mother was born in the states, but I still can't get a citizenship, I'll try the green card route in the future, atm I'm training to join the French foreign legion, I gotta start a new life and leave this overpriced shithole.

BEAUTIFUL gun sir! I love guns made in the early 1900's. Still early enough that manufacturers really put the time into making them ornate, but late enough for powerful modern cartridges. How much did you pay for your fine example?
Argentine mauser 1909. It use by Argentine army. And Argentine federal police officers. Specialy.....this rifle using by Argentine soldiers sniper. Or combat rifle. And Argentine we create a lot weapons start in 1930s to 1950s. And 1970s and 1980s. In the war of islands falklands. We use the SMG FMK3 automatic weapon using 9mm and the browning high power the 1938 9mm. And rifles beretta 1959. And we using the SMG silent Sterling 9mm the 1965. Made by united kingdom.
Hi, I'm Argentine, I think the Falklands are Argentinian because not only when the war happened, there was a coup d'etat in Argentina but also because of the arguments we have, for example there was fishing activity long before the pirates (English) decided to invade us it hurts in the soul here to have to know that there are sullos children buried there in mavinas is just a piece of land on the sea is very important enough to send inexperienced children to fight soldiers who have already been in one of the worst wars in the world, and even if it had not been for the traitors (Chile) they would not have won us because these children had a light blue and white heart
I have one all matching numbers, even the cleaning rod has a matching number. Contemplating sporterizing it soon, but I'm definitely using it come modern gun deer season.
